Listen up, y’all. I’m sure you saw Delphia’s post about Thomas Baird being killed. His is the second Wonder death we can attribute to the same killer. Cal had a vision of the first one last week, and the police found a bag belonging to that victim in the location Cal saw in his vision.
All we know so far is that the victims were both on their own, outdoors in a rural location. In both of Cal’s visions the killer created some sort of fog, but we’re not sure what its purpose was.
Edgar’s going to try to call a vision this evening – I’ll let you know if it tells us anything.
Here’s what we need to know from you:
1) Have any of your Wonders died or disappeared under unknown circumstances?
2) Do you have contacts in neighboring states or Mexico that you can ask the same question to?
3) Without panicking anybody, are there any older Wonders in your districts you can talk to and see if they’ve ever heard of a Wonder with the ability to generate fog ?
Thanks

Well, that’s fucking frightening. I’m not sure on any of those questions, but I know some people I can ask
Shane_DM_Southeast_TX March 27 at 7:37pm
Shit. None of the Wonders I’m connected to have passed away in over a year. But I wouldn’t know if any unaffiliated Wonders have died. I know a DM in Louisiana I can contact, and there are some trolls near Lake Livingston I can ask about the fog. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

I had one Wonder pass away late last year, but it was natural causes. I’ve got contacts in New Mexico and Chihuahua. I’ll see what they say. Not sure about oldsters. There is one tortoise shifter out near San Angelo, but he doesn’t talk to me if he can help it. I’ll try.

Isn’t there a book room at TWIST? If I remember correctly, it’s kind of a disorganized mess, but maybe one of the books has relevant info. Anyway, no deaths of any of my connected Wonders in the past several years. I’ll check with a couple of DMs I know in Arkansas and Oklahoma though. And I don’t think I have any Wonders who are more than 100 or so years old, but I’ll talk to the oldest of them.

Hey, that’s really scary. Let us know if we can do anything besides ask questions. Um, not being a true DM means I have no idea if any Wonders have passed away recently unless somebody tells me, and they haven’t. But just to be sure I’ll go through the names I have and do a sort of check-in call to each of them. If I figure out any of them are really old I’ll ask about the fog. And I don’t know anyone in Mexico, sorry.
