Epilogue

Carden

“So, you’re a celebrity now,” Josh said.

Carden gave him a look. “I am not. My boyfriend is.”

“I don’t know, man. I mean, you are on the cover of gossip magazines.”

“Not any longer. I was on the cover of gossip magazines. Now I am on, like, page six or something,” Carden replied.

They met at the bar because Carden felt like going out.

Marius was still on tour, and Carden was watching clips of his concerts his fans had uploaded like a crazy person in his bed.

Adam had blown him off because he apparently had something superb planned for Sebastian and Chris, and Pearl had a date.

Carden didn’t have that many close friends, he realized.

He hadn’t seen or talked to Josh in a while, and Josh was free tonight, so here they were.

“Oh, boohoo, poor you,” Josh said and took a sip of his beer.

Carden sighed. “It’s not as much fun as you might think, dating a rock star. He’s on tour right now; he will be gone for months. He’ll spend weeks recording the new album after that. People will come on to him.”

“Are you worried about groupies?” Josh cut in.

Carden shook his head. He didn’t even have to think about it. He wasn’t worried that Marius would cheat on him. “No. He loves me.”

“Good for you. So stop freaking out.”

“Easy for you to say. Random people come up to me and ask me inappropriate questions about Marius,” Carden said. People in fucking school had the nerve to just sit next to him and ask him about how it felt to fuck a rock star. The audacity! It was truly fucked up. He shook his head.

“But you knew that when you decided to make your relationship public, right?” Josh said.

Carden nodded. “Yeah, I did, but knowing and experiencing it are two very different things.” No wonder Adam was happy to not be in the public eye for as long as they could manage to keep their relationship secret.

“Once you’re done with school, it should get better,” Josh said.

“Your word in God's ear,” Carden replied and took a sip from his own beer. “Catch me up on your life now. You probably read about everything exciting happening lately to me in a gossip magazine. Like everyone else. I don’t have that luxury.”

Josh laughed. “Fine. I meet this guy.”

“Tell me more,” Carden demanded, and of course Josh did.

◆◆◆

Carden was vibrating out of his skin. He hadn’t seen his boyfriend in two months, and phone calls and video chats just weren’t the same. He wanted to taste and smell Marius. Wanted to run his hands all over his soft body, wanted to snuggle against his warm skin at night.

And this weekend was the weekend he would get to do all that. It was finally summer break, and Carden had borrowed Adam’s car again so he could spend the whole weekend with his super-hot boyfriend.

Marius had wanted to meet up at the concert venue, but Carden insisted on meeting him at the hotel. He hoped it would be less hassle.

So here he was now, in the hotel room, naked under the covers, his cock half hard already from just imagining what they would do once Marius got back.

“Carden?” Marius called out.

“Bedroom.” Carden felt suddenly nervous about being here, naked under the covers, ready to get down and dirty. It was stupid, of course. Surely Marius would love this surprise.

When Marius saw him, he just stared. The silence was stretching, and Carden opened his mouth to say something, but then Marius was moving and fast. He was at the bed in mere seconds.

“Are you naked under that sheet?” He sounded breathless.

His black hair was a bit messy, there were smudges of eyeliner under his eyes, and he smelled like sweat.

“What if I am? What if I came here, got naked, prepared myself, and waited for you?” Carden asked.

“Prepared yourself…?” Marius said, an adorable frown on his face, before his eyes went wide as the meaning sunk in. He pulled the sheet away and pushed Carden onto his stomach. His hands pulled his legs apart, and then his finger circled Carden’s hole before it slipped right inside.

“Fuck,” Marius said.

Carden looked at him over his shoulder. “Well, yes, I thought we would, seeing as we haven’t touched each other in over two months.”

“I didn’t shower at the venue,” Marius said.

“I don’t care. You can shower after.” Carden was getting impatient again, and it didn’t help that Marius’ finger was still inside his ass, stroking and teasing. “In fact, I think that’s better, as I plan on coming all over you.”

Marius groaned and then leaned down so he could kiss Carden’s neck and shoulder. “Fuck,” he whispered. “You’re filthy.”

“You like it. Get naked,” Carden said.

Marius kissed his shoulder again. “You’re right. I like it.”

“I’m also right about you getting naked. Fuck, Marius, I’ve been waiting months for your cock inside me. Do you really want to make me wait any longer?” He asked, wriggling his ass.

“No,” Marius said, and then the warmth of his body was gone, but not for long. He stripped out of his clothes in record time, grabbed lube and a condom, and was inside Carden within seconds.

“Fuck,” Carden said and tried to breathe, because it had been fast and forceful, but now Marius was holding still inside him. His cock was rock hard inside Carden’s ass, filling him out so good.

“You feel so good around my cock. It’s insane how good you feel around my cock, Carden,” Marius said and then leaned down and bit Carden’s shoulder.

“Move,” Carden gasped, because he needed it. And he needed it now.

Marius moved; it was fast, and it was hard, and it was exactly what Carden needed. Marius’ hands on his hips were bruising his flesh. He could feel his orgasm building steadily. This wouldn’t take long, and that was fine.

“I’m close,” Marius said.

“Same,” Carden replied, just as Marius grabbed his cock and stroked hard. He came with a muffled shout.

Marius followed him soon after. “Fuck,” he said as he fell onto the mattress next to Carden, and he dealt with the condom.

“Yeah,” Carden agreed, snuggling into Marius’ body. “I missed you.”

“I missed you too,” Marius replied, pulling him closer. They were both gross and sweaty, but Carden didn’t care.

“But now we have a whole weekend ahead of us to be together.” Carden didn’t have anything planned. He would be totally happy spending those two days in this hotel room, preferably naked.

“Yeah,” Marius replied.

It was a rare thing, having a weekend in one city. But Citizen Clash was giving two concerts here, which meant Carden would have to share his lover with thousands of people tomorrow night, but Sunday was theirs again until the band had to move on to the next venue.

“I know you said we could go sightseeing or whatever, but I’d rather stay here and fuck the whole weekend,” Carden said, drawing random patterns on Marius’ chest.

“You did say you wanted to come all over me; that didn’t happen yet,” Marius replied and then flipped them over so he was above Carden, caging him in.

“It’s going to happen for sure this weekend,” he said, and Marius smiled. He was so fucking beautiful; it made his heart hammer in his chest when he looked at this man, who was now his. “Kiss me?”

Marius did.

Marius

Marius woke up sore but happy. Carden was snuggled against him, naked and warm and a bit sweaty.

His boyfriend was not a morning person, but that was totally fine because it gave him time to admire Carden in his sleep.

Carden was always beautiful, and that was just a fact of life.

Some people were born insanely attractive or handsome, and some transcended all that and were simply beautiful.

Carden was beautiful. Even with messy bed hair and Marius’ bite marks on him, he was beautiful, or maybe even more so because of them.

He traced one of the marks with his fingers gently so he wouldn’t wake up his lover. He closed his eyes and wished he could stay like this forever. Just being with Carden gave him an inner peace he had never felt before.

He dozed for a while until he had to get up and go to the bathroom.

Once he was out of bed, there was no way he would fall asleep again, so he ordered room service.

The selection of breakfast foods was modest because they didn’t make the label enough money yet to demand the five-star hotel rooms, but Armin said they were on their way there.

Their debut album was selling like hotcakes.

The tour was sold out, and their manager was talking about adding dates.

Marius was thrilled and terrified of his band’s success.

If they let the label have their way, they would be in the studio, on tour, or giving interviews without any downtime in between.

“Is that coffee I smell?” Carden asked from somewhere deep within the blanket and pillow nest he had made for himself once Marius had left the bed.

“Yes, there is also breakfast. If you want something to eat.” Marius was glad Carden was awake.

“How long have you been awake? What time is it?” Carden mumbled, blinking at Marius. His cheeks were rosy from sleep, his pale hair was a mess, and Marius loved him so much his heart was going to burst.

“I love you,” he said.

Carden blinked at him again. “I love you too.” And then he buried his face in the pillow and fell asleep again.

Marius smiled and took a sip from his coffee.

The next time Carden woke up, he sat up and ran a hand over his face. “It smells like coffee and sex in here,” he said.

“Well, we had a lot of sex last night, and I already had coffee this morning.”

“What time is it?” Carden asked.

“Just after eleven,” Marius answered. “Slept well?”

Carden nodded. “You tired me out. I feel well fucked. I'm probably going to feel it the whole day. Feels good,” he added.

“Want some coffee and breakfast?” Marius had finished what he had ordered roughly two hours ago, but he could always order more.

Carden nodded. “I need a shower first.” He untangled himself from the blanket, got out of bed, and then stretched in all his naked glory. Marius had the insane urge to bite those perfect ass cheeks.

“Want some company?” Marius asked.

Carden smiled at him. “Always.”

So Marius followed him into the bathroom.

“The label is talking about adding more tour dates,” Marius said later as they were lying naked under the blanket again.

Marius had blown Carden in the shower, and then they ordered coffee and food and didn’t bother to get dressed.

It wasn’t like they were going to leave this hotel room, and they both knew it.

Marius had gotten some shit from his bandmates for it, but he knew they were happy for him too. They just liked to tease him.

“We knew from the start that it was a possibility,” Carden replied.

“Are you cool with that?”

“This is your dream, right? Not only yours but Armin's, Bennett's, and Owen’s too. I’m not going to stand in the way of it. At least not now.”

Marius turned to him so he could see Carden’s face better. “What do you mean, not now?”

“You’re at the beginning of your career as rock stars. Yes, your debut album is selling like hotcakes, and yes, your tour is sold out, and yes, people want you on their TV shows, but it’s not like you have a ten-year contract with your label, right?”

“Right,” Marius said.

“It’s still all a bit fragile, and I think you need to milk this cow now, and once you've made those millions, you can demand shorter tours and more downtime, maybe in a year or two,” Carden said.

“And you’re willing to wait that long?” Marius asked; his heart was beating way too fast. He was pretty sure Carden was it for him.

It was stupid because he was only twenty-three, and a lot of shit could and would happen in the years to come, but deep down he was sure that he wanted to spend his life with Carden.

“Yeah, I am,” Carden replied. “In the meantime I am going to be successful on my own,” he grinned. “Deal?”

“Deal,” Marius replied.

“It’s going to be perfect, Marius. Just wait and see,” Carden said.

Marius was sure that Carden was right about it because it already was perfect.
