17. CHAPTER 17 #3

He laughs to himself, more than pleased with the little game he’s playing, but for once, this is a game I can get down with.

Before I know it, he’s pulling his thumb away and replacing it with my brand-new vibrating butt plug.

He pushes it inside me, not stopping until it’s all the way in, then he presses a button, and it roars to life inside me.

I cry out, my body instantly reacting to the intense vibration, my eyes and body trembling so much that any demon would assume I’m attempting to summon them.

“Just like that,” he chimes, pulling harder on his grip in my hair, arching my back right off the counter.

My body has never been more alive, and as he continues taking long, deep thrusts, I can’t possibly hold back a second longer. My body reaches its ultimate climax, exploding into a fiery rage of sweet, sweet elation.

It pulses through me like electricity, my walls shattering like glass around his thick cock, erratically spasming and clamping before clenching down. “OH, FUCK. RAIDEN!”

“That’s right, baby,” he grunts, barely holding on. “Scream my name.”

My voice trembles, and I try to scream it out again, but it comes out shattered and broken, completely breathless. “Raiden.”

My high overwhelms me, taking me to the fucking summit, and just as I hit that absolute peak, Raiden explodes, roaring with the most intense pleasure as he comes apart, shooting hot spurts of cum deep inside my cunt and making me feel like a fucking goddess.

He empties himself as his hips continue to roll, not letting up for even a second until I’m crashing back down to earth. “Admit it, Firecracker,” he murmurs, releasing his hold on my hair as my body continues convulsing. “Ain’t nobody better than me.”

He turns off the vibration of the butt plug, giving me just a bit of reprieve before gently taking my hips, his thumbs soothing as they trail back and forth over my skin.

“At making me scream and fall to pieces? Yes. No question about it. I’ve never had anybody who can make my body come alive the way you can,” I say, struggling to catch my breath.

“As for the career ladder? Not even close.”

His cock flinches inside of me, and I groan, dropping my head to the cool stone counter.

He eases out of me and removes the plug, letting it drop heavily to the floor before taking my hips again and lowering me off the counter to my feet, turning me to face him.

He holds my stare as if truly unable to believe my view on this.

“You’ve got no fucking idea,” he murmurs, tucking himself back inside his pants.

“Then give me something concrete to go on,” I say, my hand pressed to his chest. “Because as it stands, I’ve taken two hits without breaking a sweat.

I’ve yet to see you succeed, and from where I’m standing, you’ve done nothing but hide behind that scope.

The evidence is right there. So, unless you’re willing to get your hands dirty, I hope you like disappointment, because nothing is changing my mind. ”

He arches a brow. “Baby, you don’t know what you’re asking for.”

“I’m not scared of you, Raiden. There’s only one assassin who could even be considered close to my level. And you are not him.”

He just laughs, all too amused. “And who, dare I ask, might that be?” he questions, leaning in and brushing a kiss to my cheek, a kiss that has me melting into him.

I look up at him, his dark gaze eating me up as I feel his cum slowly spreading between my thighs. “The Iron Viper.”

He scoffs in disbelief, recognizing the name just as clearly as any other assassin would. The man is legendary in our world, capable of the impossible. “You think you’re on the same level as the Iron Viper?”

“I don’t think, Raiden. I know.”

“I hate to break it to you, Kiara, but nobody is better than the Iron Viper. Not even you with your little party tricks. He’s a fucking god among mortals, and honestly, I’m not even convinced he exists. He’s a myth, some story that sets the bar impossibly high for the rest of us.”

I scoff. There’s no way he doesn’t exist. I’ve been tracking his hits for years. He makes impossible shots and wields a blade like the steel in his hand answers only to him. He never misses, and neither do I.

“Perhaps,” I say, stepping out from his hold and striding toward what’s left of my door. “But if he is real, and he has truly set the bar that high, then I welcome you to try and catch it. But don’t be downhearted when I get there first.”

Raiden laughs and scoops his shirt off the floor before striding toward me.

He stops and slips the shirt right over my head, letting it fall down to my thighs.

“We’ll see about that, Firecracker,” he murmurs, his arm scooping around me to grab and squeeze my ass before dropping another kiss to my cheek.

“I’ll get that door fixed. Unless you want to stay in my apartment. ”

“In that bland, unpacked mess of boxes? Keep dreaming,” I say, before pointing out toward the corridor. “I’ll be seeing you, Raiden Kane. But in the meantime, might I suggest touching up on those fighting skills? You’re going to need them.”

He strides past me, laughing. “Sure thing, babe. You keep telling yourself that,” he says, stepping over the threshold, only to pause and glance back.

“But just remember, when I annihilate you, I gave you all the warning you could have needed. It’s not my fault your ego is standing between you and reality. ”

And with that, he slips away, leaving me here with a mess to clean up and one hell of a chip on my shoulder.
