THE THIRD DEADLY THORN

Though a bargain was struck, there was no peace for the Prince and the Girl of Shadows, for nothing could protect them from the wicked plot of the Queen.

All alone and afraid, the Shadow Girl disguised herself as an ordinary maiden—pleasant and light of heart, burying her darkness so deeply within herself that she hoped even she would forget it was there.

But some things will not stay in the dark, even when locked away, gagged and chained, threatened and beaten into silence. Some things are stronger than fear.

And no matter how afraid the Shadow Girl was, she could not escape herself.
