The Fifth Deadly Thorn

The Prince and the Shadow Girl thought they had escaped the Queen, but she had grown more dreadful than either of them knew.

Her magic no longer depended on a mortal body of flesh and blood and bone, and without its constraints, she could execute her revenge unhindered by its mortality, haunting the Shadow Girl’s every waking moment.

The Queen’s six hateful daughters were determined to slay the girl in their mother’s name.

So the Prince did another wicked thing—he feigned the girl’s death and brought his sister, the new Queen, a false heart.

And he locked his Shadow Girl away in a tower, where she would be safe forever, alone in the darkness, with only his despicable self for company.
