Chapter 21 Playtime #2
living on a mountain compound together, but Cozy approved of them, so I did too. To know this whole soap opera happened in
the little mountain town of Jamestown is wild.
Calder’s jaw muscle ticks as he drinks his beer with very little emotion after the story he just shared. Either he has a great
poker face, or this really doesn’t bother him as much as I would think it should. I suppose it’s been a while, and time heals
all wounds, but a wound like this has to leave a scar. Right?
Weirdly, it impresses me how close the Fletcher brothers are despite that crazy time in their lives. It takes a strong family
to repair after this woman came in and wreaked havoc on all of them. I can’t help but wonder what their father thought of
it all.
“And the baby turned out to be this Matt-guy’s?”
“Yes, thank God,” Calder huffs and shakes his head. “That was the one silver lining that came out of all of this, because
it would not have been pleasant being tied to her with a kid. Although, I feel bad for the kid. Her and Matt are still together
last I heard.”
“Wow.” I feel a bit silly that I can’t offer anything more profound after that bomb was dropped. “I can see how visiting a sex club after all of that felt like no big deal.”
Calder chuckles softly. “I don’t know about no big deal . I just wanted something different with no connections. I was used to going out with my brothers all the time, but I wanted
a place where I could meet someone on my own that would help erase her from my mind. First time here, I found a female Domme,
and she worked real hard to help me forget about all my problems back on the peak.” His eyes dance with mirth as his mind
drifts down memory lane. He clearly enjoys this memory much more than the Robyn one.
“So is that your kink?” I lean in, my voice a whisper. “You like a bossy type?”
Calder shrugs. “I like lots of things. Can’t seem to ever find a favorite, and believe me, I’ve tried.”
“Hmm.” I turn on my stool to survey the crowd. “Do you think everyone is here because of some fucked-up past trauma?”
“Don’t we all have trauma in one way or another?” Calder asks, and I tilt my head to watch him for a moment, wondering which
trauma affected him more. This Robyn chick or the loss of his dad?
Maybe it doesn’t matter. He’s right. Trauma is trauma. It’s how we work through it to come out the other side that matters.
My thoughts are distracted when I spot a couple from across the room staring in our direction. They whisper to each other,
never taking their eyes off of me or Calder. I can’t quite tell. They look relatively normal. Like a couple who would walk
into my shop... whatever that means. The man is tall, dark, and handsome. Clean-shaven and wearing a suit. The woman is
a petite redhead with large breasts. They’re both beautiful.
I nudge Calder with my elbow and nod. “I think something might be happening.”
“What?” he murmurs, more interested in his beer than the action of the club.
“Would you stop being such a grump and look?” I grab his face and turn him to look out into the club, and at the same time, the couple stand and begin to make their way over to us.
“Oh my God, they’re coming over here!”
“Chill out, Ace.”
“Holy shit!” I swivel on my stool back to the bar to down my drink. “Can I get a shot?”
“No,” Calder bites out. “There’s a two-drink maximum anyways.”
“Exactly why I want that shot. What do you think this means?” I glance over my shoulder. “Do they want to hook up with us?”
“I’m not a mind reader.”
“Would be nice if you were.”
“Hi,” the woman purrs from behind me, and I take a moment before turning around to face her.
“Hi,” I repeat back, wondering if I can get away with just copying everything she says all night. That would take a lot of
pressure off.
“You guys want to play?” the man asks, his arms wrapped around the woman’s waist as his eyes move from Calder to me. He licks
his lips as his gaze drifts down to stare at my chest, and I have to fight back my look of shock. I suppose in a place like
this, everyone is here for the same thing, so there’s no need to be shy about it.
I look to Calder, waiting for him to take the lead. That’s what an experienced wingman does, right? But he says nothing. He
just stares up at the guy with an expression I can’t fully read.
“What did you have in mind?” I croak, surprising myself with that very smooth response.
The man releases the woman, and they cross paths with each other, the woman sitting down by Calder and the man sitting down
by me. Both of them instantly sweep us up into light conversation, making it very obvious they’re pros at this sex club mingling
game.
“So, what do you like, beautiful?” He trails his fingers down my arm, sliding into the crook of my elbow and practically lighting
my vagina on fire with desire.
“What do you like?” I ask, mimicking the question again. Honestly, it’s some of my best work to date.
“Bondage,” he says firmly. No hesitation. “I like to tie women up and give them the most mind-blowing orgasms of their life.
Do you want me to tie you up, beautiful?”
My face heats as I picture myself tied up and being touched by a perfect stranger. It sounds both terrifying and exhilarating
at the same time. And I’m intrigued not only by what he likes to do, but how good he’ll look doing it. The man is attractive,
there’s no way around it. He’s not Calder-level hot, but he’s up there. And the fact that he picked me out of a room full
of women is validating in so many ways. I love how this place allows people to speak freely about what they want too. No preamble,
no will they, won’t they. You lay your cards right on the table, and it’s up to you to play or not.
I’m ready to play.
I smile and feel myself nodding, my body humming with nerves as I agree to this man’s offer. I’ll make sure I have a safe
word so if it gets to be too much, I can dip. Hopefully I can come up with something more clever than lambchop like last time. I can do this. This is what I’m here for.
Plus, I’m not really interested in hanging around and watching Calder do his thing with the woman he’s talking to. There’s
something strange about watching a man you slept with flirt with another woman. I know it was casual and this is what I asked
him to do with me, but seeing it close-up is a lot more unsettling than I expected. I need to just focus on myself and this
guy who just asked to tie me up and get Calder Fletcher far out of my mind.
The man holds his hand out to me, and my back brushes against Calder’s as I stand up off my stool and let him lead me toward
the steps. We’re going to go find a playroom.
Holy shit, this is exciting. I remember catching a bondage scene between a couple when I got a tour on my first visit, but
I was kind of on information overload at that time, so seeing it with this man will be an entirely different experience.
I turn back to look at Calder, and he’s watching me walk away with a deep scowl on his face.
Oh no. It looks like he’s maybe not getting along with the woman as well as I am with the man.
But I’m sure he’ll have no problem finding someone to hook up with.
He is a pro, after all. But admittedly, I get a secret thrill over the fact that I scored before Calder Fletcher.
Maybe I am competitive with humans after all.
Calder stands as I reach the steps and I give him a thumbs-up, silently telling him I’m good. I am good. I got this. It’s
time to “play.”
