Chapter 9
Mabel
Whatever I thought sex would be like, I never thought it would be like this.
It felt good. So fucking good. But there was so much emotion.
Everything building and building within me to a point I thought I might die but I wouldn’t have stopped Levi for the whole world.
And then when it all exploded within me.
It felt like being raised to the heavens and then floating down.
And to have Levi come inside me, it just felt right. After, we held each other for a long time. He seemed visibly shaken, holding me so tight.
“Are you okay?” I ask.
He lifts his head and gives me a smile that makes my stomach flip over and my heart feel all warm. This wasn’t his charming, sexy, cowboy grin. This smile was something different. An understanding of something special shared between us.
“I’m meant to be asking you that. Are you okay?”
I nod. “That was….amazing!”
He nods. “Give me a minute and we are going to do that again. Slower. In a bed.”
I laugh and smile. Suddenly feeling happier than I ever have before. And yes, I definitely want to do the sex again.
Later, I lay in Levi’s bed, feeling exhausted but oh so happy and content. Levi is stretched out behind me, his chest against my back, thighs touching thighs, his hands gently stroking over my body.
I’ve always been a bit self conscious about my body shape, but Levi seems almost obsessed with touching me. And I certainly enjoy touching him. After what we have done it seems silly to try and cover up, especially when he seems to enjoy my naked body.
But then, he surprises me.
“We have to get up. Is your dress wearable?”
“What? Why?”
He gets up and pulls me to my feet. “I’m taking you to the dance. You said you didn’t dance at prom, I’m fixing that tonight.”
I laugh. My spirits soaring even higher with his kind gesture. But I shake my head, “It’s okay, we don’t have to go.”
Pulling me to him he kisses me. A long, sweet, sexy kiss.
But then he pulls back. “I’d happily keep you here all night but it’s not just for you. I want to show the town that we are together. I want to show everybody that you belong to me and that I’m officially out of the dating scene.”
“Really?” I ask with surprise.
He hugs me to him again. “I think we are perfect for each other, Mabel. And it’s okay if you don’t know it yet, I’m going to prove it to you.”
“But we are so different from each other.”
He shakes his head. “Not different. We compliment each other. Don’t you agree?”
I smile. Happier than I ever have been before. I nod. “I agree.”
He pulls me to him and kisses me. Just as I think we are going to be late for the dance he pulls away with a sigh. “Don’t think I don’t want round three. But we have tomorrow for that. Tonight I want you to have your dance.”
“A dance with a sexy cowboy.” I say it with a grin.
He shakes his head again. “A dance with your sexy cowboy.”
