Chapter 13

In Scotland, Logan woke to the delicious sensation of his cock encased in a wet, warm mouth while his balls were being fondled.

Lifting the covers, his eyes met the vivid blue ones belonging to his mate, and he smiled as he felt the tingle in his balls signaling his soon-to-be-coming orgasm.

Reaching down, Logan ran his fingers through Kieran’s hair—one of his mate’s fingers pressing against the nerves surrounding his hole caused his hips to involuntary thrust into the air.

Unable to stop his orgasm whenever Kieran did that, Logan’s cum shot into his mate’s mouth.

When his balls were empty, Kieran cleaned Logan’s cock and then crawled up to his chest. “I love your wake-up call,” Logan growled in a raspy voice, wrapping his arms around his mate.

Grinning, Kieran said sassily, “I can tell. You know, when Ian told me to have more protein, I wasn’t keen on it, I mean, after all, I’m not a big wolf and I couldn’t figure out how I was going to eat more meat when I was having a lot as it was, but then I remembered something I read about and realized I could do what Ian suggested by giving you plenty of blowjobs.

Maybe that’s why my Shaman made me study semen, though at the time I thought it was strange.

Huh. Wait until I tell Ian I’m following his instructions.

Holy shit balls! I gotta tell Theo, Norman and Fionn because Ian told them to eat more protein though I’m not sure who Fionn is going to suck since I don’t think Theo or Norman will be keen on him giving them blowjobs.

Nope, I’m just going to have to find someone for Fionn cause he really needs more protein after what his father did to him.

I wonder if he could blow Zane when he comes next week. ”

Shaking with laughter, Logan said, “Babe, no, no, no. You are not telling Ian, Theo, Norman, Fionn or my brother about blowing me as a way to have more protein. Please let my brother find his own blowjobs…and for fuck’s sake, don’t play matchmaker with Zane and Fionn. Now, what am I doing today?”

Kieran giggled at Logan’s reaction. “The sunrise, then shower, brunch, and then it’s off to Fionn’s house so we can pack up his clothes and stuff.”

Groaning, Logan complained, “I hate packing.”

“I don’t think it’ll take long,” Kieran said, sadness in his voice. “Theo told me Fionn doesn’t have a lot of clothes because his father was a skinflint.”

“But what about Fionn’s hoard? I know it was his father’s responsibility but Fionn could have bought some clothes.”

“I don’t know the whole story yet, but I think it has something to do with Fionn trying to keep his hoard hidden so his father wouldn’t take it.”

“No fucking way! His father can’t take it. There are laws against it.”

Sighing, Kieran replied, “Duh…tell that to Fionn’s father.”

Rubbing Kieran’s back, Logan said, “Babe, I’ll talk to Fionn today about his hoard and if he’s worried about his father taking it, I’ll call Jackson and Cody and find out what can be done to protect it.”

Grinning, Kieran tweaked his mate’s nipple before giving it a kiss. “Thanks, macushla.”

“No problemo. So what else are we doing today?”

Kieran giggled at his mate using one of his favorite expressions. “I want to go shopping after we finish at Fionn’s and get him some new clothes…also do some shopping for our pup, if it’s okay. I know you don’t want Colton to find out but…”

“Of course we can go shopping for our pup. Babe, I’m proud I’m going to be a father and when I found out, I wanted to shout it from the rooftops!

The only reason I didn’t tell Colton is he’s worried enough already about Ian and I know my brother…

he’ll want to do an examination right away.

” Logan thought for a moment, then added, “You know what, I’m telling him today because, fuck it, I don’t want you to be worried about him finding out. ”

“Oh, goody! Now I won’t have to worry about Theo or Norm letting the goose out of the bag!”

“Ahh, babe, I think it’s a cat not a goose.”

Kieran shrugged. “No biggie! I like goose because it reminds me of a slang term I read about when I was doing my gay studies.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yup…to goose someone.”

“Uhmm, you mean to fuck someone?”

“Uh-huh. I thought it was so funny when I read it cause I was picturing me getting goosed,” Kieran said, snickering.

“Is this what you’ll be teaching our pup?”

“Of course!”

Groaning, Logan said, “I am so screwed. My brothers are going to kill me when our pup starts teaching their pups this stuff.”

Suddenly, Kieran’s eyes widened as he saw the clock on the nightstand. Scrambling out of bed, he shouted, “It’s almost time for the sunrise! C’mon, get out of bed, macushla! Chop! Chop!” Kieran pushed open the heavy drapes and looked towards the east, waiting for his color to appear.

Logan walked up behind his mate, wrapping a blanket around them both before pulling Kieran tight to him, relishing the feel of naked skin on his.

Kissing his mate’s head, Logan whispered his love to Kieran before raising his eyes to look east. Thinking about their discussion, he lowered one hand to cover his mate’s belly where their pup grew, sending love and telling the little pup how much he was looking forward to meeting him.

Then a thought popped into his head. “Oh, my gods, babe, we haven’t even started the design for his nursery! Have you thought about it? Shit!”

“Oh look! There it is!” Kieran exclaimed, pointing to the sky.

Logan looked where his mate was pointing and sure enough, there was the pink Kieran loved so much.

Resting his head on his mate’s, Logan felt peace settle in his soul as the beauty unfolded before them.

Watching the sky turn pink before the fiery sun erased it, he thought about his life before Kieran—dark as night.

But now, the future glowed with promise.

Then it came to him, the inspiration for their pup’s room.

When the sun had crested the horizon, Logan pulled his mate into his arms and told him of his idea for their pup’s nursery.

“I love it,” Kieran exclaimed, bouncing on his toes in excitement. “Oh macushla, that’s a fabulous idea! We must look at furniture, and paint colors and bedding and…oh, my gods…we won’t have enough time today.”

Logan chuckled. “I don’t think we need to do all that today. How about we just look for clothes since that’s what we’ll be shopping with Fionn for.”

“Perfecto!” Kieran said, then realizing they were naked, added, “But first, I need to come this morning. Are you falling down on your duties, oh mate of mine?”

Logan answered by dropping the blanket, scooping Kieran up in his arms and carrying him over to the bed. Smiling at his shrieking mate, he growled, “Ready to be ravished?”

Everything was coming together nicely this time.

Contacts found, calls placed and commitments obtained, so now all he had to do was to decide on when it would happen.

Grunting as he got out of bed, angry at his need to piss, he cursed getting old and the Fates for giving him this life instead of the life he should have had.

Smart, clever and cunning, he could have been given a wife who would have enhanced his standing, but no, what he got was a delicate one who couldn’t see the advantages of lying and cheating to get ahead.

Well no one is holding me back now! All those wasted years with her, bah!, Well, good riddance. Now I can become who I was meant to be! Finishing in the bathroom, he heard his phone ring and hurried back to see who it was. “Hello?” he rasped out.

“I have the information you need to make the first payment.”

“Just a minute.” Grabbing a pencil and paper from the desk in his hotel room, he said, “Go ahead.” After scribbling it down, he read it back.

“That’s correct. When will it be made?”

“Today, as soon as I can transfer the funds in the morning.”

“Once I’ve received word the payment cleared, we’ll be ready to go. Any idea when?”

“Not yet. I need one more piece of information and when I get it, I’ll give you the date.”

“Okay. We’ll be waiting.”

After the call ended, he shut off his phone and climbed back into bed. It was still several hours before daylight and he needed more sleep.

Logan glanced around the dining table in their hotel suite, making sure everyone had finished eating so they could plan the day and he could make his announcement.

“Colton, we’re going over to Fionn’s house this morning to pack up his stuff and ship what he doesn’t need to California. Miss L, do you want to come with us?”

“If you don’t mind, I’m going to go to the spa to get my hair done along with a massage. I’ve been dying to try it out. I can meet you all for lunch,” Lizzie said.

“Doctor, do you have anything at Fionn’s?” Logan asked Rom.

“Yes, I’ll come with you. Then I have to get back to my medical practice, so I’ll be leaving Edinburgh this afternoon.”

“Rom, are you interested in the psychologist’s position at the home for boys I told you about?” asked Ian.

“Yes, I am,” answered Rom, “but I’d like to find out more about it.”

“I’ll have Cody call you and he’ll be able to give you the details,” Ian said.

“Thanks.”

Having that settled, Logan rapped his knife against a water glass, and waited for the room to fall silent. With all eyes on him, he stood and said, “Kieran and I have some good news to share with you…babe, do you want to do the honors?”

Nodding, Kieran rose and moved close to Logan, taking his hand before gazing at the shifters who had become his family, while his other hand found its way to his belly.

Excitement bubbled up in him, turning his cheeks pink and, unable to contain himself any more, he exclaimed, “We are having a pup!”

Except for Theo and Norman who were shouting in glee, the rest of the table looked stunned.

Then Lizzie squealed, jumped up, and ran to Kieran, hugging him tightly while planting kisses on his cheeks.

“Oh, my goodness, another grandpup for me! Congratulations, Kieran! When are you due? Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl?

I don’t really care but it would be nice to know so I can figure out what to buy.

Oh, what am I saying, of course I just need to buy pink—that goes with everything.

How are you feeling? Any symptoms? Have you seen a doctor?

Is everything all right? Oh, my goodness, this is going to be so much fun! ”

Logan stared at Colton, confused as to why his brother was silent. Figuring his brother didn’t want another pregnant wolf taking up his time, Logan said, “Don’t worry Colton, I’ll hire a doctor to take care of my mate.”

Ian jabbed his mate, while snapping at him through their mind link.

What the fuck is the matter with you? Can’t you congratulate your brother?

If you won’t, I will. Jumping up, Ian went over to Kieran and hugged him.

“Congrats, this is going to be fun! I never thought I’d have someone I could commiserate with. Do you have any cravings yet?”

“No, not yet. Do you?” Kieran said as he hugged Ian.

“Nope, but it’s still early for me.”

“Me, too.”

Watching his brother’s mate hugging his own, and seeing the hurt on Logan’s face, Colton knew he had to fix it.

Walking over to Kieran, he waited until Ian let go, then leaned in and hugged Kieran.

“Congratulations! I’m really very happy for you and my brother…

stunned…but happy. You’ve made my brother’s dream come true, so thanks very, very much. ”

Grinning, his vivid blue eyes dancing in merriment, Kieran leaned in to Colton and whispered, “Don’t worry about me, my spirit told me my pup is healthy and growing like a weed.”

Drawing back in astonishment, Colton asked, “Really? It can tell you all that?”

Nodding, Kieran giggled, then said, “If my spirit tells me there’s a problem, I promise I’ll let you know, so quit worrying.”

“I’ll try.”

Then, as Kieran was surrounded by other well-wishers, Colton turned and hugged his brother. “Congratulations, bro! You are going to be an amazing father.”

Logan returned the hug, whispering, “Are you all right?”

Shaking his head, Colton whispered back, “I don’t know. I’m sorry if I hurt you, I didn’t mean to. I’m just freaking out about everything and just when I think I finally have myself under control, another surprise hits and I’m knocked down again.” Colton stepped back, a wan smile on his face.

“You want to talk?”

Colton thought it over, then said, “Maybe. I think I need to share my feelings with Ian, first.”

“Good idea,” said Logan.

“Have you told Jackson yet?” asked Colton.

“No, but I will today when I talk to him about Fionn,” Logan said.

“Won’t he be surprised? I didn’t know Kieran was an Omega. I bet that was a surprise,” Colton teased.

“Sure was, but a pleasant one.”

Grinning, he punched Logan on the arm. “Welcome to the club, dad!”

Logan smirked. “I guess that goes for you too.” Then getting serious, Logan asked, “What are you going to do about those Scottish Wolf shifters? Are you and Ian planning on staying?”

“No. Ian and I talked about it and we’ll be meeting them to make an assessment of what their needs are, but we’re coming back at the end of the month,” Colton said.

“What about Lili and Samuel?” Logan asked, tilting his head toward Ian’s parents. “Are they planning to join the shifters’ pack?”

Colton glanced over at them—now hugging Kieran—and said, “Don’t know yet. Ian thought they might want to but I think they’re too old for the harsh weather in that part of Scotland. And I know they’re excited about the pup coming and will want to be present for the birth.”

Nodding in agreement, Logan said, “Let me know if I can do anything to help. Now I better round up everyone so we can go pack up Fionn’s stuff. Hey, bro, we can use some help packing!”

“No fucking way! I hate that shit. Slate should be here because he loves to pack, which came in handy in Mexico…he packed everything we needed to move from the old hospital to the new one in just a few hours. Freaking amazing!”

“Yeah? Too bad he isn’t here. What are you and Ian up to today?”

“We’re going to see the History of Scotland at the National Museum.”

“All day?” asked Logan.

“Probably. Ian tires easily now, so I plan on having lots of rest stops as we go through the exhibits.”

“Have fun. I better get going,” Logan said. “Oh, anything you want me to tell Jackson?”

“No, but see if he talked to Oracle,” Colton replied.

“Will do.” Then looking at Kieran, Logan smiled and said, “Babe, I think we should get over to Fionn’s place and get on with the packing or else we won’t have time for shopping.”

“Righto... Perfecto.”
