Chapter 32 Sadie
SADIE
“Do you think it will work?” I asked Emil once we were in his room.
He smirked. “You are not going to convince me that you could be so insecure to have to ask me that.” Still holding my hand, he led me toward the bathroom.
I smiled, realizing this man knew me better than I gave him credit for. “Okay. Fair point. It will totally work.”
“I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure of telling you this before,” he said as he started the shower, “but your confidence is really, really…” He wasn’t in a rush to finish his sentence, kissing up along my neck and stripping me out of this sweater and top that Allan had delivered to the room.
“Really…?” I asked, also kissing him where I could as I helped him get out of his clothes.
“Really fucking sexy,” he whispered into my ear before kissing me hard.
In a slow and lazy, and also mostly clumsy, dance, we stripped each other. Kissing and feeling each other up in a relaxed round of foreplay, we eventually moved through the steam building and swirling in the bathroom. It wrapped around us, enticing us to step into the shower stall at last.
“Is this how it will always be?” he asked as he began to lather up soap to wash me.
“How?” I asked. “I’m a fan of saving water and showering together.”
He smiled at me as he began washing me. “If this is how our days will go. Working together and then falling into bed together.”
I sighed, enjoying the massage of his hands on me, more slippery with the soap. “No.”
He huffed. “No?”
“If the last of my dreams can come true, I won’t be ‘working’.” It was a big risk to admit, but it was true.
“So you meant it, that this would be your last job?”
I nodded. “This one just matters the most because the agency tried to stop me from completing it. It’s unfinished business, that’s all.”
“Tell me more about making all your dreams come true.” He held me close as he rinsed me off.
“You’re already far along with that.”
“Am I?”
I nodded. “I’ve met a sexy, caring man who wants to start a family with me.”
He growled, kissing me possessively as he put his hands on my belly. “You got that right. I want six kids. At least.”
I laughed, loving this playful side of him. “Six? Let me see how it goes having this one.”
“What else, Sadie? I’m serious. We have a lot to learn about each other and you’re already going through so many changes.”
“Yeah, I’m becoming a kept woman, pampered and fucked ’til I can’t walk straight.”
He laughed. “You’re not waddling as much as Gabby is.”
“Because she’s taller,” I teased.
“You’re not a kept woman,” he corrected as I washed him up. “You’re my woman. My little agent.”
“And your good girl?”
He smiled, leaning down to kiss me.
When I got too into it and almost slipped, he caught me. “We can save that for when you can’t fall,” he teased, noticing how much effort I put into rubbing his dick to rinse it fully.
“Oh, save it, huh?”
He growled, thrusting into my hand. “I can save it for a few minutes. What other dreams, Sadie?”
I sighed, falling in love with him for even asking that. “That’s it. You’re it. A strong man who can care for me and not smother me. A chance to have a home and raise a family.”
“We’ll move out as soon as this business is done.
” He shut the water off and urged me to get out with him.
“I know my father will be all business until this operation is done and you are the director of it. Once Gabby has her baby, he’ll be one hundred percent devoted to helping her and being a family man. ”
It warmed my heart that a big, bad Mafia boss like Luka Dubinin had a whole other side to him.
I never would’ve known that if I had stayed stuck in my biases at the agency.
“We’ll find a place to call home for our baby.” He led me to the bed, kissing my cheek and not bothering to dry either of us off. “I’ll show you my properties and if you want to choose a new one, we will.”
“I can’t wait, Emil.”
“Me neither.” He urged me onto the bed, moving us until he spooned me. “What else?” he asked as he draped my leg over his so he could finger me.
“Oh, this is good.”
He ground against my ass, teasing that hole.
I wasn’t sure I wanted to have a repeat of anal play until this baby was born.
Not because it was kinky, but because I wasn’t sure if feeling any fuller down there would be a good sensation.
I was already sore from carrying this baby.
It could wait until after he or she was born and I recovered.
“What about working?” he asked as he lined up his dick to slide into me.
“I don’t want to.”
“Even if we need your help?” he asked. “With all that you know?”
I groaned as he thrust the rest of the way in. “Now? You want to talk about our futures now?”
He chuckled, leaning up to kiss me as he played with my nipple. All the while, he slid in and pulled back out, urging me to relax and come.
“I want you to be a good girl and come for me.”
“Oh, I will.” I arched into him, trying to help us both find our release. Putting my arm back, I held on to his ass to push him toward me. But now that he’d asked, it was on my mind. “And yes, of course I’ll be a consultant. Always. Whatever I can do to make the world safer.”
He twisted again to kiss me, keeping his mouth hot and insistent on mine as he parted my lips. Tongues tangled. Breath mingled. As he coaxed me to let go and embrace the bliss of this orgasm that crashed through me, I felt the jerk of his dick deep inside me as he flooded me with his cum.
“No matter what your dreams are, Sadie,” he said several minutes later after we lay together and caught our breath, “I will do everything I can to make them come true.”
I smiled, keeping my eyes closed. Turning slightly, I kissed him gently and knew that nothing would ever shatter that vow he gave me.
“I hope I can do the same for you, too,” I whispered sleepily.
He moved his hand to rest it on my belly. “You already have, my little agent. You already have.”
We cleaned up and got back into bed. This time, we were too tired to play around again.
I lay with him, snuggled in and so secure, but he seemed to be awake with one pressing question lingering in his mind.
“You know you can’t come along, right?”
I sighed, nodding.
“If you were planning to direct us in Haiti or wherever this ends up, I can’t handle that distraction of knowing you’re near danger and focus on killing—”
“I know, Emil. I know.” I kissed him, gazing into his dark-blue eyes, captivated all over again by the adventure and affection that shone from them.
I had been ready to tell him good night and that I loved him—the first time I’d used those three words—but he changed the topic back to business and work.
“I know I can’t be at the site,” I admitted. “Which is okay. It’s appropriate. I appreciate having the chance to plan and direct this mission.” I kissed him softly. “And I trust you to keep our family safe.”
“I always will,” he promised. “You never have to doubt that. I will always protect you and all that we build together.”
