Chapter 24 #3
With both hands occupied, there’s no way for Ash to keep himself up.
His whole weight settles on top of Kieran, causing him to sink into the cushions.
He’s a big guy, way bigger than Kieran, but it doesn’t feel suffocating, doesn’t make him feel like every bone in his body is going to be crushed.
It feels almost…protective, like nothing could ever hurt him because Ash wouldn’t let anything through.
Acting on instinct, Kieran wraps his free leg over Ash’s other hip, squeezing him tight.
Their eyes lock, Ash filled with surprise, but it quickly gives way to need.
Now that his hand is free, he buries it in Keiran’s hair, not pulling, just resting it there, as if he needs something to ground him too.
This…isn’t scary. It’s a lot, but it’s not scary.
Why did Kieran take so long to stop fighting it? Why did he make Ash wait for so long?
“I’d wait for you till the end of time, firecracker,” Ash murmurs, voice deep and strained.
Kieran stills, wondering if he accidentally spoke out loud. Then he remembers this is Ash, who, as he likes to remind him, knows him down to his very soul. He probably doesn’t even need his mind-reading skills.
Clothes or not, this feels like full-on fucking. The way Ash drives into him, against him, wild and relentless, until each exhale is punched out of him, every inhale coming in like a gasp.
His mind wanders without his permission, imagining what it would be like if the clothes weren’t in the picture.
If it was just the two of them. Ash on top of him.
Inside him. Burying himself deeper with each thrust. Filling Kieran up so completely it would banish every last shred of loneliness, leaving only safety and warmth behind.
He can’t recall closing his eyes, but hearing an animal-like sound sends them flying open. They fix on Ash just in time to see the color change in his irises and a hungry expression on his face. Oh shit. He definitely saw, didn’t he?
“Another time,” Ash says, giving a particularly hard thrust that has Kieran leaking like a damn faucet.
“When you are ready. When you really want it.” He leans down, so he can whisper in Kieran’s ear.
“I will strip you bare, press you down, and fuck you so nice and deep you’ll forget there was ever a time when you weren’t mine. ”
It’s too much. Ash’s weight on top of him, comforting, not suffocating. The feel of his body between Kieran’s legs, fitting perfectly, like he was always meant to be there. His voice, warm and raspy, promising him things Kieran never realized he’s been aching for.
The orgasm that rocks through him is almost violent, ripping through him with the force of a tsunami. Even his breath catches like he’s underwater. His toes curl, tears springing into his eyes as he feels his cock pulsate before he fills his shorts with come.
Ash hasn’t stopped moving, his thrusts frantic and hurried, making Kieran’s orgasm go on forever.
He almost cries from oversensitivity by the time Ash’s movements stutter, jerky and uncoordinated.
He buries his face in Kieran’s neck and lets out the world’s filthiest moan, going suddenly still.
There’s a sharp sting at Kieran’s shoulder that has an aftershock rippling through him, his cock kicking one more time.
Did he—Did the fucker just bite him?
Ash releases his wrists, pushing himself up. “Hey, there.” He has the audacity to smile like damn sunshine. “All good, firecracker?” He strokes Kieran’s hair again.
Kieran bats him off, sitting up and thus forcing him to pull back. “Fuck, I told you. Nothing weird!”
“What did I do?”
“You fucking bit me!”
Gaze dropping to Kieran’s shoulder, his pupils dilate. He’s an animal!
“And that dirty talk of yours! God, don’t you know how to shut up? Yammering even during sex.”
“That yammering made you go off like a rocket,” Ash shoots back, the comment triggering Kieran’s defenses.
Ash must sense the shift, because he pushes into Kieran’s space, cups the back of his neck and presses their foreheads together.
“It was fucking hot, Kieran, so don’t be embarrassed.
I love knowing the effect I have on you. It works both ways.”
Kieran blushes, conceding Ash has a point. He was the one making all the animalistic noises, after all. “Still weird,” he mumbles, just to be contrary. He can’t have Ash thinking he’s easy.
“You can get back at me next time,” Ash says breezily, as if the possibility of this being the one and only time never even occurred to him. Pompous ass.
He stands up and goes to the kitchen, leaving Kieran alone on the sofa with drying come in his underwear and a plummeting stomach. Serves him right. What did he expect? Basking in the afterglow? Ash got what he wanted and—
“I know you want to have a shower asap, but drink this for me first.” A small bottle of orange juice is thrust in front of him.
Oh. Ash was just— He wasn’t actually leaving Kieran there like a used-up toy.
“Replenishing fluids?” Kieran jokes, taking the juice. He keeps his guilty gaze downcast. Of course Ash wouldn’t do that. He just over-reacted, as usual.
“That, and making sure you don’t crash.” Ash sits next to him and strokes his hair while Kieran drinks. “We didn’t do much, but I’d rather be safe than sorry.”
“Crash?”
“Can happen after a scene.”
Kieran gapes at him. “This was a scene?”
“Anything can be a scene. It doesn’t even need to involve hanky panky.”
“Please stop saying that. Hey,” he looks around. “Where’s the orange menace? She wasn’t watching us, was she?” Kieran’s definitely not into voyeurism. At least he didn’t get attacked.
“Probably sulking under the bed or something. My bad, I should’ve made sure she was tucked away. Alas, I got distracted.”
Kieran shoots him a look. “Are you saying it’s my fault?”
“I wouldn’t use those exact words…”
“Fuck you.”
Ash laughs, then turns serious. “I need to take care of you, so after we’ve both showered, join me back here.”
“That’s not necessary. I feel just fine—”
“I’m not asking,” Ash cuts in. “You will come back here and you will let me take care of you. That’s non-negotiable.” His expression reminds Kieran of his Math teacher from third grade. It actually makes him gulp.
Kombucha. I can tell Ash to shove it with one word.
But does he have to? Ash is being a bossy little shit, but… being taken care of doesn’t sound like such a terrible predicament. Surely, Kieran can survive him being a clingy monkey for a bit.
“Fine.”
Ash pulls him against his chest and kisses his temple. “Good boy.”
On second thought, maybe he can’t.
