Chapter 10 #2
His other hand cups my cheek, then slides into my hair.
Our tongues tangle, and when I suck on his, he lets out a deep groan and slides his hand from my neck down to my ass, pulling me into him even closer.
I can feel the ridge of his hard-on through his shorts against my stomach, which only makes me feel like I’m on the edge of losing control and fucking him right now against this dresser.
A door opens, but I barely notice. But then I hear voices. Bo must hear them, too, because he slows the kiss, but doesn’t pull away. He kisses me softly once, twice, then rests his head against my forehead, our breaths quick.
“Holy shit, Chelsea. We need to do that again.”
A laugh rumbles in my chest, and I try to keep it in since we know someone is home. And I really don’t want to draw any attention to us.
“I agree. We definitely need to do that again. Like, as soon as possible.”
“As much as I want to close my door and stay in here all night, we’d better go say hello to whoever it is.” He pulls his head away from mine and drops his hand from my neck and waist, walks over to his closet, grabs a hoodie, and wraps it around me.
“No one else gets to see those perfect tits but me,” he says, smirking.
I feel heat in my cheeks as he zips me up, then takes my hand in his.
We walk out hand in hand, but I let go before we see Casey and Noelle in the kitchen. It looks like they had the same idea we did because Noelle has her legs wrapped around Casey’s waist and they’re kissing.
Bo turns his head and looks back at me, smirking, then turns to face them again. “Hey, guys. What’s up?”
Noelle pulls away from their kiss and looks over Casey’s shoulder and sees us. “Oh, hi, guys! Chels, you’re back!” She unwraps her body from Casey’s and comes over to hug me. “How was it?”
“Hot.” I hug her back and laugh. “But Torie had fun and was happy I came, so it was worth it.”
“Oh good. I can’t believe she’s eighteen. She still seemed so young when I first met her.” Noelle pulls away and walks back toward the kitchen.
“Hey, Chels,” Casey says with a wave.
I nod and smile in response. “What are you guys up to?” I see a few grocery bags on the counter that weren’t there before.
“We ran some errands and stopped to get some food from the store. Did you guys eat yet?” Noelle walks over to the bags and starts to empty them.
“Not yet. I wasn’t hungry, but I could eat something small now. What are you guys having?” I walk over and help her.
“I was just going to make some snacks for now while we watch the game. Beck’s game starts in, like, thirty minutes.” She nods toward the TV.
“Do you need any help, pretty girl? I’m going to get the TV on.” Casey walks over to her and kisses her cheek.
“I’m good. I’ll call you if I need you.” She turns to kiss him. “Thank you though.”
“You coming with me, Callaway, or helping the girls?” Casey asks with a smirk.
Bo looks over at me, like he doesn’t want to walk away from me just quite yet. “I’ll come with you.”
I look back at Noelle when he walks away. “That’s where Charlie is? Beck’s game?” I put a block of cheese in the fridge.
“Yeah, she left Saturday morning. It was a little up in the air until then on whether or not she would be able to get up there.” She sets some ground sausage next to the stove.
“What are you making with all the cheese?” I ask her as I take out more cheese from the bag, a jar of salsa, and some tortilla chips.
“I’m going to make taco dip, but I have to try to do it as healthy as possible for the guys. And it’s not easy. I had to replace the Velveeta with real cheese.” She laughs. “I have some veggies and some hummus we can get out too.”
“Okay, I’ll get some of that stuff ready while you make the dip.”
She hands me a cutting board, and I get started.
After we’re done, we join the guys and watch the game. Noelle cuddles up to Casey on the couch. I sit on the opposite end, closest to the chair that Bo is sitting in.
“Hey, come sit with me.” He holds out his hand to me.
It is a large chair, and we could both fit in it, even with as big as he is.
But … our friends are here. I know they won’t care, but this feels like a big deal for me.
I look at Noelle and Casey, and they’re watching the game.
And they’re not the type of people who would make us feel uncomfortable.
Silas … might say something, but he’s not here.
So, I take Bo’s hand, and he pulls me into the chair with him, right on his lap.
I glance over at Noelle, who looks at me and just smiles.
Bo shifts a little in the chair and turns us slightly so we can both see the TV.
Beck is on the field right now, and it’s pretty crazy to me that these guys are my friends.
Never could I have imagined that I would be mixed in with a bunch of athletes like this, let alone professional and almost-professional athletes.
It’s like a whole new world to me, so I still have questions, which Bo patiently answers. The way he explains things is somewhat mesmerizing. He’s passionate about the sport for sure, but I feel like he really wants me to understand it too.
The game goes by quickly, we’ve had our snacks, and Bo ended up making some of his “famous” wings, which were pretty good.
Silas came home during the game and joined us.
Then we watch Beck in an interview after the game is over, and Casey FaceTimes with Charlie, who’s waiting for Beck to come out. She’ll be flying home in the morning.
I let out a yawn, and Bo pulls me in closer to his chest.
“You getting tired?” he says softly in my ear.
“Yeah, a little, but I’m not sure I could go to bed yet.” I turn my head to the side to see his face.
“Do you want to go watch something in my room?” The hand he has on my thigh starts inching up higher. “I’m dying to kiss you again.”
I suck in a deep breath because, well, I want the same thing. Sitting in his lap for most of the game did nothing to stop me from thinking about our kiss earlier. “Okay, yeah, let’s go watch a movie or something. Unless there’s another game you want to watch. I don’t mind either way.”
He stands with me in his arms and starts walking toward his room. “Night, everyone,” Bo says as we walk out.
I look over at Noelle, and she has a knowing smile on her face.
She mouths, We need to talk, but replies out loud, “Good night.”
Then Casey says good night.
Silas murmurs something that I think is, “When did that happen?”
When we get to the room, Bo lays me on the bed, then turns back to close the door. “So, what do you want to watch?” he asks as he comes over to the bed.
I scoot up to a sitting position against the pillows. “It really doesn’t matter to me.”
He climbs into the bed next to me, takes the remote off the nightstand, and turns on the TV. There’s another football game playing; this time, it looks like the Cowboys.
“Archie’s game is on, so we can watch that for a while until we decide. Does that work?” He sets the remote back on the nightstand, then turns his body toward mine.
“Yeah,” I say in a breathy voice I almost don’t recognize.
He reaches his hand out to cup my face, his thumb stroking my cheek.
I’m looking between his mouth and his eyes, and I’m not sure which one of us moves first, but the next thing I know, our mouths are fused together. This kiss, it isn’t slow like our first kiss. It’s urgent, wet, and I can’t get close enough to him.
I shift my body so I’m lying flat on the pillow, and he positions himself over me, but not on top of me. I wrap my arms around his shoulders. His face is above mine when he pulls away, breathless.
“Fuck,” he says before leaning back in to kiss me.
I’m so lost in our kiss; I’m not sure how much time passes.
I’m consumed by it, by him. My hands start to roam from his shoulders to his neck and into his hair, pulling him in closer to me.
I slant my head to deepen the kiss, and his groan vibrates against my lips, making me shiver.
I could explain that my response to him is because I haven’t had sex in a while, but I think it’s just him.
He turns me on like I’ve never been before.
And this isn’t a hookup. This is more. I can feel it in the way he looks at me, the way he kisses me, the way he pays attention to everything I say.
All of those things just turn me on even more, to be honest. His insanely hot body could be part of it too.
And I would be stupid not to take my time tracing every slice of muscle on this man’s body. With my tongue.
Moving my hands from his head, I reach down and grab the hem of his T-shirt and tug it up, breaking our kiss to pull it over his head. I smooth my hands over the muscles on his chest and sigh. “Bo Callaway, you are not real. This body of yours is insane.”
When my fingers trace the ridges of his stomach, he sucks in a breath. “I’m taking that as a compliment based on the way you’re touching me, but I’m also very glad you think so.” His hands move to the hem of my shirt. “May I?”
“Yes, take it off.”
I move my arms above my head so he can slide my shirt over it. Then he tosses it to the floor, and reaches around me to unclasp my bra. I pull the straps down my arms and drop it on the floor.
“Chelsea, I just want you to know, I don’t expect anything to happen tonight. I’m very happy with kissing and touching you.” He looks down at me, sincerity in his eyes. “Not to say that I don’t want to fuck you till the sun comes up, but I can be patient.”
His honesty makes me laugh.
“How about we see how this goes and just do what feels right instead of overthinking it? I just want you to touch me, and I want to touch you. Whatever happens, happens.”
“I can do that.”
He leans down to kiss me again, his tongue tracing the seam of my mouth. I open for him, meeting his tongue with my own that leaves me breathless. Our tongues slide together as our hands start to explore.
