Chapter 15 #7
Fuck the toast. I raced up the stairs, taking them three at a time, flying into the bedroom and grabbing my suit.
I get dressed in record time and throw my hair up in a simple high ponytail.
I toss on some lipstick and snag my heels from the cupboard.
I hold them by their straps as I race back down the stairs, taking them four at a time with little hops.
I get to the bottom and sit, cinching my shoes on.
They will be fine to drive with, but just barely.
I skip out to Theo's car, and miraculously don't trip or fall or break my neck but nothing can break my spirit!
I duck into the driver's side, slams the keys into the ignition, use the garage opener, and shove my foot on the accelerator.
The car squeals as I speed away from my prison.
They are going to be so pissed at me when I show up. But hey, they are the ones who thought I should be left alone yet leave the keys easy to find. Besides, not even Theo has stayed to be with me. I’m not about to wait around all day for them to get back and welcome them with open legs.
The entire drive I’m constantly jamming on the brake not used to the speed this car has compared to my little beast. Theo is definitely going to need new brake pads. On the plus side, I’m only going to be twenty minutes late.
Once I arrive, I head into the foyer. Tom is talking to Tobias and to say he is surprised to see me is an understatement.
Tobias and Tom appear to be having a heated discussion which cuts off abruptly at my arrival.
Tobias clenches his jaw and his hands fist at his sides before he stalks toward me and Tom scurried off toward the corridor by the stairs.
I definitely have to try and see him today, find out what the hell is going on, but first, I need to try to calm down Tobias.
Tobias prowls over to me, every muscle in his body twitching.
I’ll be lucky if he doesn't just slap me here in front of everyone.
I knew he would be mad, but this mad? He stops just in front of me before his arm shoots out like a snake, and he grabs me in a bruising grip. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
“Thought it was pretty obvious considering I showed up to work,” I snap back, tugging to free myself.
He doesn't have to be like this. If anything, his grip only tightens to the point of pain.
I wince, but he doesn't notice or doesn't care.
He hauls me off to the elevators, forcing me to fall in line.
“How did you even get here?” I held up Theo’s car keys and he raises an eyebrow before snatching them out of my hand. The storm in his eyes has me convinced Theo is in serious trouble now, oops.
"Tobias, I'm just going to work, I don't understand what the problem is.
" The elevator doors swished open, and he shoves me in.
I stumble from the force, grabbing the back of the elevator wall to steady myself.
He jabs the button to close the doors and once we start moving, he pushes the emergency stop.
I swallow. There is nowhere to run. Tobias whirls on me, slamming an arm on the hard metal above my head, caging me in. He looms, eyes like fire. "You've been a bad girl," he snarls at me.
I shake my head to deny it. But he doesn't give me much of a chance. He turns me around until my hands are grasping the cool metal, and he pulls my skirt up until my ass was exposed. "Tobias."
My words are cut off by a crack and a gasp. The crack from his hand slapping against my ass with all his force, and the gasp from me. He hits me again and my legs quiver. He reaches into my suit, grabbing my breast and squeezing it hard. "No, Tobias..”
“You're not stupid, you knew how I'd react to this little stunt of yours. Spread your legs, now."
I want to just throw myself on the ground and apologize, but there is no time for that. Instead, I dropped my chin to my chest and spread my legs.
He pulls my skirt up to my hips, revealing my lace panties.
I made sure to wear something this time so he wouldn't get upset.
"I'm going to punish you, Imogen, and you're going to fucking take it.
" I want to ask him what he is talking about, but I stay quiet.
He rolls my panties down until they are at my knees and he shoves a finger inside me roughly.
"Ow," I complain, trying to shift away from his touch.
"Stay still or I'll make you do worse," he hisses in my ear.
I freeze. Something cold and dry is pressed against my entrance the second he removes his finger.
Before I can ask him what he is doing, he shoves whatever it is, deep inside me.
A little wire stuck out, and he layered it in my panties before pulling them back up and pushing my skirt back down. He smooths it and slaps my ass again.
"Look at me," he orders.
I turned toward him. Once my eyes meet his, he holds up a tiny round remote and pressed a button. I gasped as vibrations flood through me, pushing me to the very edge in a matter of seconds, and then he turns it off. "Wha?" I gasped.
Tobias smiles, licking the finger he'd forced into me.
"You're being punished. I'm going to turn that on anytime I'm upset today, and you will not come.
Remember, I'll know. If you do, I'm going to spank you with a whip this time and shove my cock so far up your ass you choke on it.
If this is the only way to get through to you, so be it.
Learn control." He turns and slaps the elevator button again and we rise back to the office floor.
Once we’re upstairs and the doors open, Tobias grabs my arm again and propels me to my desk.
I’m not sure where he put the remote, but I’m not about to look for it.
That sudden burst is more than enough. He must have that thing set on the highest setting.
I can't endure that too many times before I come.
He dumps me in my chair that almost topples backward, as Theo struts out from his office, probably to see what pissed Tobias off this time.
Tobias slams his hand down on my chair before I fall.
“What are you doing here?” Theo asked softly. He winces from the glare Tobias gives him.
“She found your keys, next time take them with you,” Tobias throws them at Theo's chest. He catches them and fold his arms, giving me a scolding look. Fairly sure he doesn’t like being punished by Tobias either.
“You better not have wrecked my car, Imogen.”
“Or what, you will buy another one? Not like you can’t afford it. You will probably need new brake pads though, I wore those out pretty good on the way here,” my face lighting up as he glares at me. He growls and stalks off.
Tobias glances at me, his finger diving in his pocket.
Oh shit. I grip the arms of my chair just as the buzzes shakes my frame.
This time he leaves me in this state, pushing me closer and closer to the edge.
I bite my lip, trying to think of boring numbers—anything that would stop me.
He flicks it off and snorts. "Next time, I leave it on for a full minute, and after that we go to level two.
You don't leave this office; you stay right here until one of us can take you home.
You don't even go to the restroom without one of us taking you there.
Disobey me, and I'll fulfill my promises. "
“Yes sir.” I salute him. The murderous look he gives at my snarky attitude chills me to the bone.
He growls and turns on his heel before storming off and slamming his office door so hard I’m surprised the hinges don’t break.
I prepare for the vibrations to assault me, but nothing happens.
Has he really let me get away with that?
But if they think I’m going to sit here, they are wrong.
I have no intention of being confined to my desk like a child.
I plan on seeing Tom, whether they like it or not.
I spend most of the day sending emails and printing off various documents and filing them.
Theo and Tobias both keep coming out at different intervals checking I’m still on this floor but don’t say much.
I could tell they were going to give me hell when we got home because Tobias was serious about the bathroom thing.
I try to get up once, and he stares at me from the door and personally escorts me there and back. I’m on lockdown.
Theo returns me to my desk after I finish making a cup of coffee, and I sit at my desk with a sulk.
Why do they have to treat me like this the entire fucking day?
This is clearly insane. My phone buzzes and lights up, but thankfully, Theo is already on his way back to his office.
I wait until he goes inside before I pull the phone to me and take a peek.
I have a message from Tom, asking me to meet him in the car garage where I used to live.
I type a reply instantly and bite my lip.
How dangerous is this going to be? I'd just be in the car garage and I'm sure this won't take longer than a few minutes max. Maybe I can blame it on my period or something. Men tend to not want to be involved when there is discussions of blood. They probably wouldn’t believe me, but I can always claim I thought I started and rushed to the bathroom to handle it.
It's a little strange that Tom wants to meet me in such a remote location.
It would be easier if he just met me downstairs by the elevators, but he has helped me too much for me to just ignore his message.
Besides, Theo and Tobias are hiding something from me, and considering how Tobias is treating Tom?
I have the strangest feeling my old friend can give me some much needed answers.
