Chapter Fifty-One

Damon

“You're going to hurt yourself if you keep going so hard,”

Sawyer says as I do another sit-up. My abdomen clenches with each one sending a little pinch of pain through my body.

“Fuck off,” I spat.

“Why are you pushing so much?” Matteo asks.

“I’m not sitting out of this kill. Brynne needs all of us and I want to be ready when that fuck tries to come back to finish the job,” I explain. Brynne walks through the door and doesn’t say a word as she walks up the stairs.

“Bad day I’m guessing,” Matteo mumbles.

“Where’s Ryker?” I ask.

“He had his appointment with Brynne today, but that was hours again. Maybe he finally went to get his things,” Matteo says. Matteo's phone rings as soon as Sawyer is about to say something.

“I need a ride,” Ryker says.

“What's wrong?” I ask.

“Ahh, nothing. I just need you to meet me for the

sunset,” Ryker mumbles. Sawyer looks at me and narrows his eyes.

“Sure thing. Do you want all of us or is this a romantic date?” Matteo asks.

“Just an intimate date,” Ryker says.

“Give me five minutes,” Matteo says before hanging

up.

“What the fuck is he talking about?” I ask .

“He wants to meet at the motel,” Sawyer explains.

“I got that but why? Do you think this is a setup to get us to go there?” I ask.

“That would make sense, but he said it was an intimate event. He only wants me to go get him,” Matteo explains.

“Okay so hurry up and go get him. We need to discuss some things when you get back,” I demand.

Matteo leaves and it’s just Sawyer and I in the living room. He nods toward the stairs. “What do you think is up with Brynne?” he asks.

“I don’t know, but she better get her shit together if we plan to kill these fuckers before Halloween,” I force myself off the floor and into the recliner.

“What do you mean if? ” Sawyer asks.

“I’ll talk about it when Matteo gets back. We all need to be on the same page. I have to take care of this fucking thorn in my ass before we can go after Westmoore and Hachett. I don’t need him fucking this up for us,” I push.

We hear the water turn off upstairs and music playing from Brynne’s room. We should go check on her, but I know when to leave her alone. As much as I like her when she's pissed off, now isn’t the time. I need her to be in top shape for next weekend.

“Halloween? That’s in a few weeks.”

“Yes, we are getting these pieces of shit before

Halloween,” I spat. Matteo comes barreling in the driveway moments later. It feels like it's only been five minutes but it’s been fifteen. The door opens and Ryker walks inside with a grim look on his face.

“What happened?” I ask firmly .

“My car has been tracked,” he says. I watch Sawyer try to backtrack everywhere we went in Ryker’s vehicle.

“Are you sure?” he asks.

“Pretty sure. We waited at the motel to see if anyone would show up and a police cruiser did moments later. I don’t know if he was there for me, but I’m pretty fucking sure he was following me today,” Ryker explains.

“Fuck,” I grumble.

“Were you followed here?” Sawyer asks.

“No, I’m not that fucking stupid,” Matteo says.

“Damon, we used my car for killings. What if they can put me at the scene?” Ryker pants.

“They would have picked you up by now. Who would want to track you?” I ask.

“I went back to my apartment to get my things and I overheard my father on the phone talking to someone about a woman. I don’t know who he was talking to, but he hung up before I could eavesdrop more. I grabbed my clothes and stuffed them into a bag. I was going to talk to him about leaving but he and my mother started arguing over something. I left before they spotted me. Then I saw the cruiser a few cars behind me. I didn’t think anything of it until he made every turn I did. That’s why I called. I wasn’t sure if the car was bugged too,” Ryker sighs.

“We need to go check on Brynne,” Sawyer says. We all rush upstairs to make sure she is okay. We open the bedroom door and rush to the bathroom. The music is still playing and we budge inside. Brynne is naked and bent over putting lotion on her legs.

“What the hell are you getting dolled up for?” I spat.

“I have a date tonight,” she lights up .

“What?” Matteo says in shock.

“The fuck you do,” I say firmly. “Get your ass downstairs, we need to talk,” I add.

“After I lotion my skin. I need to be silky smooth for him,” Brynne taunts. I walk over to her and grab her by the throat. Her eyes burn with desire.

“You want soft skin?” I unzip my pants and pull out my cock. “We’ve got lotion for you,” I growl. I push Brynne down to her knees and she obeys by sitting still. The guys follow me and pull out their cocks. We all stroke our cocks in a circle around Brynne. She isn’t going on a fucking date with anyone. I don’t know what she is thinking, she is ours and any man who touches her will lose his fucking hand.

“If I catch you out with another man. I will personally skin him alive right in front of you,” I snarl.

“Fuck,” Matteo groans. It’s like a chain reaction when we all empty our balls and cum on Brynne. I grab her face and smush her cheeks together.

“Rub it in,” I demand. I spit in her face and rub my spit over her lips. She sucks my thumb inside of her mouth and it takes everything in me to not lift her and fuck her right here. We all watch as Brynne takes our cum and rubs it over her tits.

“Who the fuck were you going out with?” Sawyer asks.

“I wasn’t going anywhere. If you let me explain, I could have told you that Bryan is one of my patients. He is having a special appointment here tonight,” she smirks.

“You gave him your address?” Sawyer says in disbelief.

“Of course not. I told him I didn’t feel comfortablendoing that and that we had to meet in the park,” she explains.

“You’re going to meet him in public on camera?” Ryker asks.

“Fuck, it’s like you guys don’t remember that I’ve been killing for years,” Brynne rolls her eyes. “Bryan is a weakling. I could tell him to kneel in front of me and slit his own throat and he would listen. When I saw that he was at the park I was going to text him and tell him to meet me on the trails,” Brynne explains.

“How did you plan to get him here?” I question.

Brynne sighs. “That was when you guys were going to help. You didn’t let me tell you the plan,” Brynne stands and crosses her arms.

“You disappeared as soon as you got home. How were we supposed to know that?” Matteo asks.

“I need to decompress first,” Brynne admits.

“Do you really think this is the best time to do this?” Sawyer asks.

“I need this,” she says firmly.

“Get clothes on and get down to the living room. We all need to talk,” I demand. We all leave Brynne alone in the bathroom and wait for her to meet us in the living room. Moments later she walks down in black thigh-highs and a tight long-sleeved black dress. She sits across from me and crosses her legs.

“We need to make sure we're ready for this,” I say to everyone. “This isn’t just killing anymore. This is dangerous and we all need to agree to move forward,” I wait for everyone to think about it for a moment, but they don’t.

“Damon, we’re in this together. I told you that when we were teenagers. Nothing has changed,” Sawyer says. I think back to the night I told him my plans. He was so eager to get started and hasn’t questioned me the entire time.

“Is Epson still alive?” I ask.

“He wasn’t in the office today,” Brynne says.

“I just need this kill tonight,” she looks down. “I need to remind myself why I started doing this,” she confesses.

“We are all in,” Matteo says.

“Then we need to prepare for the biggest job we’ve had so far. Nothing will get done sitting on our asses. Hachett has a press conference Friday and one of us needs to be there. I want to know how beefed up he is with security. Ryker,” I pause. “You need to make sure your father doesn’t suspect anything. Keep up the good son act, go golfing, or whatever the fuck he wants you to do. You need to get as much info on Westmoore and Featherstone as you can,” I look to Brynne and Sawyer.

“I don’t like the idea of you guys going undercover. If they figure out who you are Brynne, it won't end well,” I say.

“They expect us to be there next Sunday,” Sawyer says.

“I can't just let you guys do everything and sit on my

ass,” she complains.

“You’re not going to. Me and you need to figure out who this fuck is who shot me. If we take him out then we

should have no problem taking out Hachett, Westmoore, and Featherstone,” I explain.

“Ryker said he could look into Digicon,” Brynne says.

We all look at Ryker and he smiles. “No promises, but my dad keeps very thorough records of companies that donate to his campaign. I don’t know if I'll figure out anything, but it's worth a shot,” he shrugs .

“Then I guess I’m going to the press conference on Friday?” Matteo chimes in.

I look around the room at everyone and how sure they are of this operation. No one is doubting my plans and it reinforces that we are unbreakable. We will go through the rest of our lives ridding the world of true evil and no one can stop us as long as we are together.

“Alright little devil, fill us in on your plan for tonight,” I taunt. The devilish smile on Brynne's face makes my heart race. Killing is one thing, but killing with Brynne is a whole different experience.
