Istand from my prone position on the floor. Fates, that has never happened before. It’s like I exorcised all of my God power. That can’t be right. My power is infinite.
It most likely has something to do with the prison that is my island home, draining me of power, draining me of life, leaving me in a perpetual dark and sour mood.
My Dove keeps things interesting. So does my need for revenge.
Looking down the bond, I find it frayed at the end. Gods be damned! Including myself. If something happens to her, I will burn this damned chunk of dirt to the ground. I don’t care that it was our first creation. We will rebuild elsewhere. I’m going to steal their power. They won’t see it coming.
With her by my side, we will be unstoppable.
Moving out past the stained glass windows showcasing my beasts, I look out on the barren plane of my island.
I find Saff, flaming her half-cracked egg.
With my eyes glued to the flames, I can only hope that what I gave my pet was enough for her to come back to me.
