Chapter 27

Lake had planned on letting West and Yejun have Nix first. A part of him thought it was poetic. That was how they’d started all of this, after all. He’d waited until his friends had taken him, then he’d swooped in and finally gotten to fuck his Songbird.

He’d also taken advantage and screwed Nix’s brains out in the bathroom earlier, so there was that.

He’d tried being fair.

It wasn’t his fault they’d both blown the opportunity.

To his credit, Nix was taking this whole chase thing seriously. He zipped through the halls, the sound of his shoes pounding against the marble leading Lake on a mad dash. Eventually though, he was going to lose speed.

Then he’d be all Lake’s.

Sure enough, he caught him on the fourth floor, arm banding around Nix’s thin waist to tug him backwards and off his feet.

Lake carried him into the first open room he could find, slamming the door and flicking the lock haphazardly before he shoved Nix down over a drafting table—at least, that’s what he thought the damn thing was called. Didn’t matter.

“Who’s the greedy one now?” Nix was out of breath, but he didn’t fight Lake off when he reached for his belt.

“For you?” Lake stripped him. “I’ll never get enough.”

“Seems like you just left June with blue balls.”

“You could have stayed and watched.”

“That’s not the game,” Nix reminded, lying back so Lake could have easier access to the buttons on his shirt. “Take off your mask first.”

“Why?”

“I want to see your face.”

“Want to be sure which of us is fucking you?”

Nix snorted. “I can tell you apart with my eyes closed, Majesty.”

“Care to put that to the test?” Lake liked the idea. A lot.

“Deal.” He reached for his pants. “Later.”

“Weren’t you just the one talking about how we’ve already done this tonight?”

“I love your cock, you know that.” As if to prove it, Nix freed him and gave him a pump.

“ Just my cock?”

Nix paused and then used his free hand to remove his own mask, even though Lake hadn’t yet taken off his. Once that was done, he stared up at him. “I love you. I love all of you.”

His mouth twitched. “But you love this part of me most of all.”

“Well, duh.” Nix shot up and pressed his lips over Lake’s mask where his mouth was covered. “Now use my favorite part to teach me a lesson.”

“Lesson for what?”

Nix pretended to think it over, the playful glint in his eyes giving him away. “Remember when you made me say you taste better than West? Well, I’ve had a few goes at it since, and I think maybe West actually—”

Lake tore his mask off and glared down at him. “Finish that sentence, Songbird. I dare you.”

The bratty grin on Nix’s face clued Lake into what he was about to say next before he’d even opened his mouth.

“Punishment it is.” He’d be thorough this time, too. “You aren’t leaving this room until I’ve pumped so much come down this pretty little throat of yours you can’t even remember what West tastes like.”

They didn’t really have that much time. The Haunt went all night, but it really wouldn’t be fair of him to hog Nix for the entirety of it.

Still, he could do his best in the time that they did have.
