Chapter 11

Tyler

This was hands down the most romantic thing anyone had ever done for me.

When I was a kid, I’d loved it when Dad pulled out the old sleigh and took me and my brother for jaunts around the property. And there was some nostalgia in the feeling, though back then Ethan and I rode in the back while Dad drove in the front.

But Harris had thought of everything. There was a thick blanket over our laps and he had one arm around me, holding the reins in the other hand.

He’d said that Rudy could make the trek in his sleep, and honestly, the horse plodded along without much direction from Harris.

I’d taken a few moments to rub Rudy’s velvety nose and feed him a carrot Ben had handed over before he disappeared.

But now we rode in the quiet, nothing but the horse’s huffs and the jingle of sleigh bells to break the mood. I snuggled in closer and Harris moved his hand to my hair, rubbing my scalp.

The night was clear and gorgeous, cold, but bright from the stars and the sliver of the moon. There were a few spotlights throughout the property too, but not so much as to intrude on our moment.

I’d been stationed in a lot of places where the stars could never be seen, and I never took them for granted. But cuddled up with Harris, in an open sleigh, would forever be my favorite way to enjoy them.

“So hey,” Harris said, and his voice shook a little. I didn’t want to move, but that little wobble made me nervous, so I sat up so I could see his face. He glanced at me, then set his eyes back on the horse. “I was thinking…”

I waited a few seconds but he didn’t continue. “Yeah?”

“I, um…Luce and Jan are usually my dates to the Ball. Such as it is. Not really dates, of course, but I don’t usually bring anyone because I want to give them my attention. Not that they can have it all but—” He blew out a breath.

I held in a laugh. The babbling was cute. I decided to help him out. “But they can’t make it this year. So you’re looking for a date?”

Harris seemed to realize how weird he was being because he grinned at that. “Yeah. And considering there’s only one person I want to bring with me… Would you like to go to the Ball with me?”

“Yes.” I could say more. I could gush, or be effusive, but I figured that one sincere word was more than enough.

Harris shot me another glance. “It’s a formal event.”

“I can do formal,” I assured him. “Wait, are you going to be wearing a tux?”

He’d be fucking hot in a tuxedo.

That made Harris groan. “Yes. Hawley took me to buy one the second year, so I didn’t have to keep renting.”

“That’s hot,” I said without thought. Then I grinned wickedly. “You’ll have me all worked up all evening, looking sexy. And then I’ll get to peel you out of it.”

We passed by a light just then so I got to see the way his hazel eyes darkened as his pupils dilated. He lifted a hand and traced my lips, and I couldn’t help but suck his finger into my mouth. I used my tongue to show him just what I thought about the imagery I’d come up with.

“That oral fixation,” he murmured, voice low. “You love to suck, don’t you, baby?”

He didn’t know the half of it. More importantly, that was the second time he called me that. I almost pointed it out, but I didn’t want him to stop and I was worried he would if I mentioned it.

“I want…Can I…” I didn’t know how to ask for what I wanted.

“Anything you want, Ty,” he said, slowing the horse down a bit so he could keep his attention on me. “Tell me.”

I took a deep breath and decided to trust him.

“I want to get on my knees, right now, and just hold you in my mouth.” I had to swallow hard, both from the nerves and the saliva that pooled in my mouth at the thought.

It was something I’d always thought about but never had been brave enough to ask for. “Can I, Sir?”

The “sir” thing really turned him on. I’d noticed it before, and I was willing to play that card anytime he wanted. In this situation, with him, it felt right.

“Absolutely. Get on your knees.”

I didn’t hesitate, though it was awkward in the small space at the front of the sleigh.

I barely fit and I had to finagle a little bit.

Harris stopped the sleigh until I got situated, then tucked the blanket around my shoulders as I undid his jeans.

He lifted so I could get them down enough to get to his cock.

Only then did he click his tongue and get us moving again.

My mouth was watering and I inhaled deeply through my nose, pulling the scent of him into my lungs.

Fresh laundry and soap and cedar. Then I opened wide and sucked him in.

He was half hard and getting harder, but I didn’t do anything to help.

I just held him there, letting the saliva pool.

I had to swallow occasionally, and sometimes I found myself suckling a little, but I closed my eyes and just let it all wash over me.

Horse hooves in the snow. The jingle of sleigh bells. Harris’s deep breathing and his hand in my hair.

It was perfect.

I could feel when we turned but otherwise, I was somewhere outside my body.

I didn’t even feel the ache in my knees from the floor of the sleigh or the weird strain on my muscles from the position.

Just Harris’s cock in my mouth and his light touch on my head.

And the scent of him as I breathed slowly through my nose,.

I didn’t know how long we stayed like that. I didn’t even care. It could last all night and I would be content. But like all good things, it had to eventually come to an end.

“We’re going to be back in about five minutes, baby,” Harris’s voice had an edge to it, like he was struggling to hang on. “Think you can get me off that fast?”

He was so hard, I was sure I could get him off that fast. I went to work, sucking and licking, using every trick I’d ever learned—though to be fair it wasn’t that many—to get him to come.

Just as Harris slowed down the sleigh again, I felt him swell in my mouth, and I pulled back a bit so I could catch it on my tongue.

“That’s so good. Here it comes,” he bit out through clenched teeth and then flooded my mouth. I swallowed it all, not missing a drop, and then lifted my head when he was finally done.

Harris grabbed my face, pulling me up, and I winced at the strain but didn’t care. He devoured me, his tongue swiping every corner of my mouth, wanting all of me. I gave it to him until I couldn’t breathe and, even though my eyes were closed, I could tell my vision was dimming.

“How’m I gonna let you go?” He murmured, then his eyes widened. I didn’t think he meant to say that out loud, and even though it made my heart pound because no one had ever wanted to keep me before, I decided the smarter course of action was to turn it into a joke.

“I’m a really good cocksucker, that’s true.” I winked.

“It’s not just…” Harris shook his head and stuck his thumb in my mouth.

I sucked on it because he wanted me to. He stared right into my eyes and I couldn’t look away either.

After a minute, he pulled away, slowly, as though he really didn’t want to.

“Let’s get Rudy settled for the night. And then you’ll get your reward for a job well done. ”

Iwoke up sore, but not as sore as I wanted to be.

Even though I’d begged and been as submissive as possible, even though I’d used “sir” as often as I could, Harris hadn’t fucked me.

He’d played with my ass and made me come so hard I saw stars with three fingers in my hole, but I’d wanted his dick.

I was still pouting about it when Harris rolled out of bed with the sun.

“Don’t you worry, baby. I’m gonna fuck you good and proper,” he assured me, kissing me hard even though we both tasted like morning breath. “When you’re ready.”

I grabbed him so he couldn’t get too far away. “Shouldn’t I be the judge of that?”

“No.” Harris stared me down, and even though his expression was stern, his gaze was heated.

I couldn’t help the whimper. I fucking loved it when he looked at me like that.

“Get up. We’ll eat, then you have a recipe to procure and supplies to buy.

I’ll let you take my truck if you start moving right now. ”

I grumbled some more, but I followed him out of bed. We’d showered after our late night shenanigans, so we stood side by side at the sink and brushed our teeth and washed our faces. Harris kept his gaze fixed on me through the mirror, and I swear all I could see was affection.

We ate oatmeal with blueberries, a few of which I slipped to Cheddar despite Harris’s warning glare. I blew him a kiss because I knew I wasn’t in trouble. He might make a fuss, but he’d given Cheddar dog safe human food too.

Harris gave me the keys to his truck, pulling them off the ring he carried in his pocket. Cheddar knew the cue and raced to the door, ready to get on with the day. He probably wanted to go play with the zebras.

“The grocery in town probably has everything you need, but it might be better to drive into Purchase. Then you can get as much as you need without wiping Walter out. There’s a Price Chopper and an Aldi, so take your pick.

” He bent down to kiss me, slow and sweet, then rubbed his nose against mine.

“Text me if you need me. Cade is in the office today, and he doesn’t talk much but if you need something, he’ll help.

Otherwise, I’ll stop back here about lunch time and we can eat together? ”

No really. The sweet, conscientious side of him was going to be my undoing. He was hot as fuck and knew how to play my body, but this side of him? The part of him that looked out for me and saw to my needs, that supported what I was doing? That was the part that was gonna get my heart involved.
