Chapter Fifteen

Raine

My head is reeling, my heart is rollercoasting inside my chest and threatening to explode from my body. I keep replaying the information in my head over and over again, and just when it starts to make sense, everything gets jumbled again.
No, I have to understand this fully. Their uncle faked his death.
Lived on an island with his big-bosomed Marabella for ten years, heard about an uprising, sent my name anonymously to the billionaires with no context, heard of a plot to steal the Virgin Chalice from the billionaires, and decided he wanted to be a part of it.
He did kidnap me, told me I had nothing to worry about because the three billionaires would not bid on me as plain as I was, and I could steal the Virgin Chalice, easy peasy.
But he knew the three billionaires would not let me out of their sight until they got answers from me—answers I didn't know myself.
All because he wanted some sort of... romance between us because apparently my father had a proxy vote for the most powerful and oldest mafia family in the world, and with him dead, the vote is now mine.
And things were going to happen with the mafia families and the voting council that would put the Minotaurs at risk, but they needed my vote to remain in power.
It had to be a legitimate connection, or else they could just kill me and take my vote, and I could just.. .
I repeat Maximilius's words in my head.
Now, lovely Raine, will you take a sword and sever their cocks and watch them die so you may keep your vote, spelling the end of the Minotaurs in its entirety.
Holy crap. What kind of a world is this?
But they emphatically said they would not kill me and thereby remove my vote.
"Did you know who my father was?" I ask them before answering Maximilius. Because if they did and this is all so I don't vote against them—what am I even saying—how is this my world now—then I would like to sever the cocks.
"No," they say in unison.
"Me thinks if you answered any other way the little lady might have opted to maim the jewels," Maximilius laughs. "I knew she was a fighter."
"Then no, I won't slice off their cocks and leave them to bleed to death," I say, my gaze fixed on them. But I drown in their eyes and my knees weaken and my pussy pulses, and all I want to do is lower my eyes and breathe.
"Huzzah," Maximilius says and claps his hands, breaking the spell.
"Now with that out of the way, and I can rest assured the Minotaurs are safe and sound and in the hands of the lovely Raine, I must take my leave again.
I saw a woman with a generous bosom in the coffee shop at the end of the street.
Kids, I bid you adieu. Oh, and you know what, I think I'll take the Virgin Chalice after all. For my supremely matchmaking efforts."
"Are you sure you want it?" Theron asks as he goes to the glass cabinet where the Virgin Chalice is enclosed.
"Of course I want it."
My breath gets stuck in my throat when he opens the case and retrieves the chalice.
Dear god, what are they going to do? Do they understand what walking by that artifact does to me day in and day out, the way my body relives them touching me.
My violent orgasms. The scrape of the metal against my tongue as I tasted them for the first time.
I didn't even want Summer to touch it when she asked.
"No," I shout, grabbing the chalice from Theron.
"I think I earned the cup, lovely Raine. Hand it over now." Maximilius holds out his hand.
"Umm, no. I don't think so," I say, clutching it tighter against my chest. My body goes into overdrive as they move in to stand behind me. I can feel the wetness seep into my panties.
Oh god help me. This day can't get any more surreal.
"Why don't you want our uncle to have the cup, Raine?" Conrad asks as if he's asking me a question about the weather.
"Are you going to tell him the Virgin Chalice is yours?" Alec says softly in my ear.
"Are you going to tell him why?" Theron whispers into my other ear.
My entire body shivers.
I want to die.
Also, are they nuts? How can they want their uncle to have the Virgin Chalice, when... when... they coated it in their cum and made me lick it off.
"Tell him the Virgin Chalice belongs to you," Conrad says, taking Theron's place, his words tickling my ear.
"It's mine. I'm sorry. I can't... It belongs to me."
"Ah well," Maximilius says, clearly disappointed. "Perhaps I will try to steal it from you, lovely Raine," he says, then blows me a kiss, greets the men behind me, and leaves.
"Please don't," I whisper frantically to myself.
As soon as we're alone, I spin around and I immediately collide with such powerful men, my knees weaken.
They don't say anything. And I need a moment to collect my thoughts. I use the time to put the chalice back into its case to hopefully get a handle on myself.
I guess this means our time is up. They won't kill me. I won't kill them, and then I laugh because who in the world would I ever be able to kill?
"You're the Queen of the underworld, now, Raine," Conrad says. "You could ask any man in the world to do your bidding and he will have no choice but to do so."
Is that how it works?
"Well," You don't have to worry. I have no plans to be a part of that world, and when the time comes and you need my vote, you can just call me. That said, I guess I can leave now. There's no threat to my life, or Summer's. And we have our lives to get back to as you do yours."
The worst thing is I can't even be mad at Maximilius, and it was all his fault.
I avoid the way they're standing, side by side, hands in the pockets of their suit pants, their eyes narrowed at me. Fuck. Why are tears welling in my eyes?
No. I have to be strong. I have to put this down as the craziest adventure of my life where I lost my virginity and my heart....
Oh no.
"Which part of 'you belong to us' didn't you quite understand?" Alec asks.
"I'm not going to switch alliances if that's what you're worried about. You don't have to keep me here."
"Fuck," Theron growls.
"Don't you understand that we would give up everything for you? Every single thing. The family name, all our money, everything if it meant having you?"
