Chapter 31

Pete

It was a week since Rino and Kyle had asked us if we wanted to play around with them, and I still hadn’t answered them.

They hadn’t pushed, which helped me a lot.

I knew they wouldn’t pester me on it, but I was still glad they hadn’t.

To be honest, I wanted to. I really wanted to.

But like I’d told Jackson, I needed to be absolutely sure.

I needed to get some fresh air away from the mansion, which really meant I needed to not be around Mitch and Nic right now.

They were salivating about the possibility of me and Jackson with Rino and Kyle, who according to their constant chatting, were wild in bed and so fucking hot.

It didn’t make life easier for me knowing they were waiting on me to make my decision.

It was all they could talk about and I needed a break.

As soon as I’d left the property, I dialed Dylan. He picked up on the third ring and greeted me cheerily. “You haven’t died!”

“Hah hah. I know, I’m sorry.”

“For forgetting about me? Nah, don’t be. I found this cool cactus plant and I’ve been chatting it up whenever I’m lonely. It started to bloom yesterday, so I think it likes me.”

“Shit, Dyl. I really am sorry. I’ve just had so much to do, and I know it’s no excuse. But I’ve really missed you.”

“I know. I’ve missed you too. I figured it would be best if I let you come to me when you had the time. I didn’t want to interrupt you with the renovations and quitting your job.”

I’d forgotten to tell him I’d quit! Which meant… “My mom told you I’d quit, didn’t she?”

“Nope. Mike did.”

Mike?!

“Since when do you two speak?” They’d never been close and with Mike in Africa, I hadn’t expected them to even have the chance to talk. I’d only spoken with Mike myself three times so far since he left.

“Since I was in need of a new bestie,” he sniffled and I sighed loudly. I knew he was hurt and I really was the worst.

“Is he a good bestie, then?” I teased, hoping we could move past this.

Even though I knew Dylan would forgive me, I also knew I shouldn’t take his easy forgiveness as a given.

I would call him more often and plan gaming nights too.

I was selfish in this. I’d forgotten about him in all the rush of moving, renovating, and then opening the club.

We’d spoken a bit over text, but I knew he’d instigated all the texts.

And the only reason I’d called him now, was because I needed his help with the whole sharing thing.

But there was no way I would be broaching that subject now.

Dylan deserved my full attention after I’d treated him like shit these last few months.

“Oh, he’s perfect! He even gave me tips on how to take care of Poki.”

“Um, Poki?”

“My cactus. Clever name, right? He helped me name him too.”

“Of course he did. So… How is Mike doing?”

“Oh, we’re already done talking about me? Fine then.” I suppressed a groan. I really wasn’t acing this attentive bestie-thing.

Driving through the drive-through Dylan preferred, I placed an order while he waited patiently on the phone. As soon as I had the food, I apologized again. “I really am sorry, Dyl. Are you home?”

“Ah. I figured that was why you picked up a banana milkshake. But you never know, maybe Jackson likes them too.” He was hurting so I let that slide. I’d take all the punishments he would dole out.

“So, you’re home?”

“Of course. Not like I have friends I can go hang out with, and Poki isn’t too fond of me carrying him around.”

“See you in ten then.” I hung up and mentally prepared for more of Dylan’s snippy comments. Again, I deserved all of them.

After literally kneeling for forgiveness, I left Dylan’s place and drove home.

I’d focused fully on how Dyl was doing, so I hadn’t asked him about his thoughts on the whole sharing thing.

But maybe it would be best if he didn’t know.

Not that I could tell him who they were either.

Privacy and all of that. And besides, I knew I wanted to have fun with them.

I’d found Rino attractive as hell, and Kyle was sexy too.

I’d never pictured being with Kyle like that before, we were simply too similar and I had Jackson on my mind so no one could ever compare, but just sex? That sounded like a lot of fun.

Jackson was waiting for me in the kitchen with Benjamin and a whole lotta food.

With the club being full even on weekdays, we’d asked Benjamin to work six days a week.

We had new things to try for the coming weeks and I hated myself for getting junk food for lunch.

It smelled amazing and Benjamin’s eager expression told me I wouldn’t be walking out of the room until my pants no longer fit.

“Hey, baby,” Jackson greeted me with a kiss. “How was Dylan?”

“A bit hurt for being neglected, otherwise he’s doing fine.”

Jackson winced. “Yeah, I’ve kinda kept you all to myself these last couple of months. Sorry.”

“It’s my own fault. He’s my friend and I’m going to try harder from now on to keep him in my life. And get this, he’s chatting with Mike.”

“Really? Mike never told me they were friends.”

I shook my head and took the plate Benjamin offered me with some grilled asparagus wrapped in bacon. “I think it’s a new friendship. According to Dyl, they both needed someone to talk to, and they’ve become close.”

“How close?” He raised one brow and I shook my head at him.

“Not close like that! Besides, Mike is in Africa and they’re both straight.”

“I could’ve sworn Dylan was bi.”

I laughed. “Then you’d know something I don’t. But I think it’s good for them, being friends, I mean.” I moaned when I bit into one of the asparagus, the salty bacon mixed with the softened green asparagus just hit differently than anything else I’d ever tasted. “This is amazing, Benjamin!”

Benjamin beamed at my praise. “Perfect! Then they’ll be added for next week’s meal plan. I’ll go collect the baked potatoes from the grill.”

Then he left me and Jackson to stuff ourselves in private. With Mitch and Nic there too, of course. And since we were all gathered., I said, “I want to play with them.”

Jackson choked on a grilled mushroom while Nic and Mitch cheered behind us.

“I’m so excited I think I’m going to faint!” Nic exclaimed.

“Can we even faint?” Mitch asked, sounding a tad worried.

I ignored them and helped Jackson by getting him some water. “Please,” he choked. “Don’t say stuff like that while I’m eating.”

I grinned. “So, should we tell them?”

“Now?” he looked so confused, but also excited. “They’re not even here.”

“Oh, I forgot. When will they be back?”

“Not until tomorrow. And I think this should be talked about in person, don’t you?” I pouted, but nodded my agreement. I could wait another day.

Just then Benjamin returned with the potatoes and I got ready to be stuffed full. But not in the way I was most eager for.

“Are they here yet?” Nic asked, and I felt like he was just as excited as I was. He just didn’t have to worry about being nervous, too.

“Not yet,” Mitch said from the window.

“Do you think Rino will spank Pete? It’s so hot when he does it to Kyle,” Nic said.

I was blushing, but trying to hide it by staring at my phone. We were waiting for Rino and Kyle in Jackson’s office, and thankfully Jackson was too busy working on his computer to notice my blushing.

“Well, considering Pete likes being spanked by Jackson, it could happen. But with things like this they’ll talk about likes and dislikes before doing anything,” Mitch explained.

“You think so?”

“Oh, yes. I was never into this when I was alive, but I know people care about limits during scenes. Remember when Rino choked Kyle on his dick?”

I choked on my spit and tried to hide it with a cough. They ignored me completely and continued to talk about Rino and Kyle.

“Of course, I remember! That was so hot,” Nic exclaimed, fanning himself with his hand.

“They’d talked about that ahead of time, so Rino knew Kyle liked it beforehand,” Mitch informed him.

“Where was I when they had this chat? I don’t remember that?”

“Jackson was fucking Pete in the shower and you were torn between whom to watch, so we agreed on splitting up as long as we didn’t touch ourselves.”

“Ahhh, I remember now.”

I was going to die.

Jackson’s phone rang, giving him all our attention.

“Jackson speaking. Oh, that’s fine. Yeah, of course.

I’ll ask Benjamin to bring it up. See you in ten.

Bye.” He hung up and directed his gaze to me.

“Rino and Kyle will be here in ten minutes and they asked if we could eat together while talking. I’m just going to ask Benjamin to cook something for us and bring it up here. ”

“Oh, okay. I’ll just wait here and go over our waiting list.” He kissed the top of my head and left.

Now I just needed to calm myself until he came back.

Mitch and Nic weren’t any help, they were practically glued to the window as soon as Jackson had said they would be here soon.

This thing might be my biggest test yet.

If I could survive playing with Rino and Kyle without them knowing I could see and hear them, then I would have passed the ultimate test.
