Chapter 2 Knox
CHAPTER TWO
Knox
I’m many things but stupid isn’t one of them.
As Elton takes his panic-shit in our bathroom, I do something I really shouldn’t, but I’ll ask for forgiveness later.
I check over my shoulder once before walking around our bed in search of Elton’s phone. I see it lying on the floor and pick it up, entering his password—my birthday—to snoop.
Hey, we’re ‘death do us part’, this comes along with that.
The first thing I go to is his internet browser. Any nude pictures he has on his phone, I have, and I know he’d never cheat on me. No, the internet is where he hides his dirty secret.
Predictably, Elton didn’t exit out of the last thing he was looking at. My smile is wide and just a touch sinister as I examine the contents.
Huh, well, seems like I was right.
It’s porn. We’re both young and horny all the time, and I’m not the kind to be offended that my husband wants to jerk it every now and then to a random video, but the one he has pulled up right now is… Interesting.
Hunt Me, Daddy.
I click on the video and make sure to turn the volume down.
I predict I have two more minutes before Elton emerges.
The video is a masked man, still clothed, fucking into his fully naked partner.
It’s rough and animalistic, and my dick gets hard.
Elton and I have never shied away from a rough fuck, but this is different.
There’s almost a level of hate to it that our relationship doesn’t have.
It’s just something we’ve never discussed before.
Elton’s asked for it hard, but never like this, which is why I predicted that this was what he was watching.
Seems I’ve been neglecting my sweetheart.
I leave the browser exactly how I found it and set his phone back down. I don’t want him to be embarrassed, so I head back to where he was putting together his stupid Boo Baskets. Because I’m a fucking simp, I start putting them together for him.
It’s silly how much he’s obsessed with Halloween. I mean, he’s obsessed with every holiday, but this one is his favorite. I personally don’t care for it. People are always pretending to be someone they’re not, so what the fuck makes Halloween special?
That and my parents never gave a fuck. While other families would dress up and encourage their kids to Trick-or-Treat, mine insisted that my brothers and I be locked up at home. Something about how ‘unbecoming’ the holiday is. I’ll admit, I was jealous as a child, but I grew out of that.
I curl my lip at the sweet and cringy Halloween bow I’m supposed to put on here. Fuck me, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for love.
As I’m assembling, still waiting for Elton to come out, I get an idea.
Oh yeah, I got a good idea.
Maybe there’s a way I can make this stupid holiday actually mean something.
I’m thinking through my plan because it’s beautifully coming together and that’s when Elton decides to come out. He’s a little flushed—sweaty and guilty—but I’m going to play it cool.
For now.
“Good one?” I ask him as he comes to sit beside me.
He nods jerkily and shrugs. “I guess. You’re helping with the Boo Baskets?”
“Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because you hate Halloween.”
“True.”
“Because you think it’s stupid.”
“I don’t think you’re stupid.”
This makes his green eyes light up and he leans in for a quick chaste kiss.
I almost lost him once because of a stupid mistake.
Ever since he took me back with all the forgiveness in his heart, it’s been my mission in life to make him as happy as possible.
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him. I love him more than I ever thought I could love something. He’s my entire reason for being.
My sweetheart.
And I plan on making all his dreams come true.
