"A re you sure this is a good idea?" I glance at Sutton, one of my nurse friends who is helping with the hazmat training today.

Of course, I'm sure. You want to find a husband, right? What better way to show potential candidates what you have to offer? Besides, our instructions were to wear bathing suits under our clothing to make the training as authentic as possible, since they'll hose us down once we remove our pretend contaminated clothing.

"Don't you think a bikini is a little too obvious?" I tug at my t-shirt, thinking about the teeny tiny bikini Sutton talked me into wearing.

"Trust me. It will be fine. Even Sky is wearing a bikini under her clothes." Sutton points to a red-faced Sky, who is searching the waiting area for, I'm sure, a certain sexy bartender/volunteer firefighter by the name of Tucker.

"I don't know about this, Sutton." Sky bites her lip in what I've learned is a nervous habit. "What if they get mad at what we're wearing?"

"I ran the idea by Ryan, and he said it's fine." Sutton rolls her eyes.

"Of course, your husband would think it's fine. He'll probably kidnap you, take you home to ravish you." I roll my eyes this time.

Sutton is so lucky to have a husband to share her life with. I shouldn't be upset about letting her talk me into wearing a bikini. If it helps me attract a husband, I'm all for it. My worry is my attraction to Tanner.

Will my nipples try to poke through the thin material of my bikini top? Or maybe my bikini bottoms will flood with desire just looking at him.

I don't have time to dwell on the what-ifs as the fire chief yells for us to step into the empty bay area where the hazmat tents are set up.

Sutton, Sky, and I each stand by a tent, waiting for instructions. I notice that Ryan is overseeing Sutton's tent, Tucker is in charge of Sky's tent, and Tanner is responsible for my tent, all dressed in their hazmat suits.

We're instructed to take our clothes off in a specific way and place them in a special container. I glance at a now-undressed Sutton in only her tiny bikini, stepping into the tent with a waiting Ryan ready to hose her down.

I glance at Sky, who stumbles on her way into her tent under Tucker's watchful eye in her tiny bikini.

Realizing that I've already stalled too long, I remove my clothes until I'm left with nothing but my tiny bikini.

Before I step into my tent, I hear a muffled sound coming from Tanner's hazmat suit that sounds suspiciously like the word "fuck."

I stand in the designated spot, waiting for the water to touch my skin. The anticipation sends goosebumps crawling up my arms and down my legs. When I think I can't stand the wait any longer, the cool water glides across my body with a slight amount of force.

Tanner shifts the hose, starting from my neck and working the stream down lower, landing on one nipple before switching to the other, causing them to harden into tight peaks. I know it's not intentional on his part. It's a part of the decontamination process. But try telling that to my body as it hums in pleasure.

The water shifts lower until it's blasting against my pussy. I have to bite back a groan as the rush of water hits my clit pulse after pulse, making my body tremble until I'm seconds away from coming. The vibrations thump against me, demanding that I come. I'm ready to obey when I hear Tanner's voice calling to me.

"Turn around. I need to do your back now." His voice sounds gruff, but I can't tell if he's affected by what's happening between us or if it's just the hazmat suit making his voice sound that way. Either way, my body is screaming for a release; it won't get any time soon.

Obeying his command, I spin around until my back is facing him. My body starts to cool down now that the pressure from the hose isn't spraying my pussy. I've almost survived getting hosed down by Tanner when the unthinkable happens. Tanner shifts the hose, and it sprays against my ass, causing pleasure to a play I never believed could feel pleasure.

I curse my ignorance at being a twenty-four-year-old virgin who never thought she would need a vibrator to help curb her lust until she found a boyfriend or husband. And it's not like Wintervale has an adult bookstore where I could buy one.

Unconsciously, I push my ass out, seeking more of the pounding pressure from the water. It isn't until I hear Tanner grunt. "We're done here." I realize I've been pumping my hips back and forth.

Praying for the ground to open up and swallow me whole is not an option, so I choose the second alternative and brush past him on my way to exit the tent, realizing thankfully he was the only one who witnessed my wanton behavior.

Sutton and Sky rush to my side as I exit the tent. Sutton is holding a white terrycloth robe that matches hers and Sky's for me to wear.

"It was Ryan's idea to have the robes ready for when we finished getting decontaminated." The same dreamy smile she gets whenever she mentions her husband's name crosses her face.

"Make sure to thank him for me." I shiver as I slip on the robe, not sure if it's from the cold of being wet or the heated look Tanner is giving me from across the fire station as he takes off his hazmat suit.

"Oh, I'll thank him alright." Sutton raises her eyebrows up and down. "But you can thank him too, just not in the same way, tonight at our barbecue party."

"What barbecue party?" Sky asks.

"Well, it seems those bikinis did their job. All the single firefighters want to get to know the two of you. So, I decided to host my version of the show, The Bachelorette, at our house tonight."

"But." I try to speak, but Sutton cuts me off.

"No buts. Now run home and get some rest. It's going to be one hell of a night with all that man meat fighting for your attention."

Sky's skin takes on a sickly shade of green, and I can almost feel her anxiety matching my own. The last thing I want to do is have guys fighting over me.

When I first decided to search for a husband, I imagined it would involve a date here and there, not a mega speed dating event held at a barbecue.

If I'm lucky enough, something will catch on fire, and I'll be saved from spending time with guys I'm not interested in. Because if I'm being honest with myself, I need to get over my little infatuation with Tanner before I search for a husband.
