Chapter Eighteen
Drew
For a while I thought I’d maybe killed my mate with pleasure with how his custard had painted the ceiling and how he lay limp, his brain not functioning for what felt like forever. I’d come at the same time as him, so it had taken me a moment to realize he wasn’t with me.
That was the day before. I had laid down on top of him and reassured myself his heart was still beating before I congratulated myself on blowing his mind. My honey stalk had slept like the dead, when he’d roused, we’d eaten, he’d spent some recovery time in the soil with me watching over him, before we’d returned into the house to make use of his large comfy bed.
This morning instead of continuing on with his sexy discovery, we had a rude awakening when Maximus interrupted us to say that the pride and the parcel were having a town meeting to talk all things monsters.
I’d not wanted to leave the bed when my stalk was up already for action, his head filled with what he’d like to try next. “You’ll get everything you want. We just need to make sure the parcel and the pride are safe first,” I said once more, not only for his benefit.
As I dressed, my stalk tucked away the hard cock into his underwear, doing his best to conceal his arousal that I had a willing body part he could hide it in.
You ain’t making it go down with thoughts like that.
I cocked my hip and gave him a saucy smile. “Like what?” I asked innocently, running my fingers over my lips.
He shook his head, grumbling as he turned around to finish dressing, making me laugh. “Like looking away will work.” I placed the image of how pink I’d made his cock the day before into his mind.
The groan was all pain.
My work is done here. Now you won’t care about the meeting you don’t want to go to because you’ll be thinking about how pretty your cock looked, all pink and flushed from each stinging blow.
I waltzed out of the room to more grumbles, but I wasn’t wrong. His head only had one thought, repeating what we had done. When we get back. So the sooner we leave the quicker we can come home and play.
Booted feet thundered behind me, and I barely took a breath before he lifted me clear off the ground and right out of the house into the truck.
I laughed all the way to town. The town had decided to go to the club, and I could see the crowd of parked cars lining a street that usually never looked this busy. Goliath never let go of my hand as we walked into the club, and I headed to where the pride was.
One glance at Leonidis didn’t tell me anything. Butch was right there by his side, not quite touching, but nearly.
How are things going with them? I aimed at Maximus.
They’re going, let's put it this way. They had us up all night, not the babies!
Was that good or bad?
“Right, now as everyone is here, can everyone quieten down?” Butch said loudly over the chatter, stopping me from asking Maximus any more questions.
When everyone quietened, Butch looked to Leonidis, then at Glen, who was standing with Crimson. “We all know we’ve had some monster problems in town.”
“You can say that again,” said Bart as he peered up at Butch. “What are you doing about it to keep the parcel and pride safe?”
It warmed me that he included the pride too, and others nodded.
“Yes, well, that’s why I’ve called this meeting. I want to talk to you all about that.” He glanced at Leonidis. “I now know what the monsters want, and they can’t have him”—he glanced around the room with a fierce look on his face—“because he’s mine.”
He couldn’t have set off a bigger explosion, and I grinned as my pride and the parcel went crazy. He had everyone’s attention now.
I grinned at my pride. Who wants to fill me in then on what happened after I left with Goliath?
