Day 7 journal entry…

Whit

Locked in these walls, I’m fighting my mind,

Thoughts of you, the girl I left behind.

Your fiery hue, it’s burning through my veins,

Trying to forget, but your memory remains.

Oh, red like the roses in the storm,

You came, and my world was torn.

Red like the fire in the night,

Little flame, you’re my blinding light.

Strings of my heart, they echo your song,

Every note, a memory of the wrong.

The color of passion, the color of pain,

Trying to heal, but you’re in every refrain.

I’m drowning in a sea of crimson tears,

Wishing you were here to calm my fears.

But the red reminds me of the truth I hide,

The love I lost, and the nights I cried.

Oh, red like the roses in the storm,

You came, and my world was torn.

Red like the fire in the night,

Little flame, you’re my blinding light.

In the depths of my soul, I still feel the heat,

Your love’s a fire, my heart skips a beat.

Scarlett hue, you’re the spark that remains,

In this rehab, I’m breaking these chains.

Every day, I’ll fight to earn your trust,

I’ll rise from the ashes, it’s you or bust.

Little flame, you’re my guiding star,

In this endless night, you’re never far.

Locked in these walls, finding my way,

Hoping the red will fade someday.

Little flame, you left your mark,

But I’ll rise again, out of the dark.

With the strength of a phoenix, I’ll soar above,

Fueled by the fire of our undying love.
