Colin #3
“God, the ones where it looks like you have to be oiled up to fit into them. Your thighs need to be shown off and those pants should always be on you unless they’re on the floor.”
“You’re so fucking horny,” he said in that low growl that he had to know was the quickest way to make his accusation even more true.
“Shut up and kiss me,” I told him with a laugh.
“Wanted to from the minute I saw you standing here,” he said, bending down and kissing me.
I’d always loved the way he kissed me, like he was claiming me with a tender gesture, as if his kisses could somehow mark me for all the world to see.
It was the same, and it was as if it was happening all over again.
His hand slid from my waist and cupped my ass, pulling me closer to him, and I sighed contentedly.
I would swear sometimes he tried to hold back his possessiveness, as if that would somehow keep me from seeing it, as if I hadn’t seen it the first time he’d touched me.
I didn’t mind at all; I even enjoyed it, so long as it stayed between us.
I could revel in the feeling that I was wanted as much as I wanted him.
I pushed against him, feeling the happy rumble in his chest as I reached between us and cupped him.
He was growing hard and fast. If I wasn’t careful, I might end up tempting him to drag me straight to his cabin.
Hmm, maybe with everyone gone, I might tempt him to drag me into the communal showers where I could reenact the first time he’d seen me.
“Ayo!” someone called, and I jerked back. “Free gay porn? On our salary?”
I flinched, peeling myself away from Xander as I saw Jake and Reno had returned. I sighed when I saw Carter and Trevor were with them as well.
“Jake,” I said with a frown as I inched away from Xander, who remained facing the counter. Not that I blamed him, he was as on display as you could get in his pants, and I didn’t think he wanted to add to his embarrassment after being caught with—
“Stop,” he said, taking hold of my arm and pulling me back. It served the purpose of being able to press against me so he wasn’t showing off everything he had. It also meant he was obviously standing there, a hand wrapped around my lower back as he faced the rest of them.
“I can feel that,” I said in a low voice as I felt Big Boss pressing against me.
“Shut up,” he grumbled and squeezed my side. “No point in trying to hide it anymore.”
“Hide what?” Reno asked, and when I saw him glance down, I gave him a dirty look that made him straighten. “I was right.”
“Shh,” Jake muttered, elbowing him. “Big Boss is gonna give a speech, and you know he hates it when we interrupt him.”
“How did Jake end up being the one with sense here?” I wondered.
Xander cleared his throat. “Look, all of you idiots threw me a surprise party, which you know I hate…which means you already know some of what’s going on.”
“Eh, we heard it too,” Carter said, wrinkling his nose. “Which, you guys do you…or each other I guess, but like…I didn’t need to hear that.”
“Your fault,” Xander grunted. “Point is, you know what’s up. If anyone’s got a problem, then—”
“Oh, Jesus,” Reno said with a roll of his eyes and walked in. “I came for more coffee.”
“Bacon,” Jake announced as he went toward the plate.
“I thought it was going to be important,” I heard Trevor mutter as he went to the table, an apple in his hand.
“Seriously,” Carter said with a shake of his head as he opened the fridge and pulled out a beer. “Like we give a shit that you guys are…is it just fucking? Are you going to be fucking openly now?”
“Yes,” I said, deadpan. “Right here, on the counter.”
“I think they’re going to make a go of like…being a thing,” Reno said as he poured himself a cup. “Jake, hand me the bread.”
“Sure,” Jake said, tossing it to him. “So, does Doc get, like, special privileges?”
“Probably just gets to sleep in that comfy bed Big Boss has,” Carter said as drank his beer.
“Since, ya know, they don’t have to sneak around anymore.
Really can’t believe they thought they had to.
I mean, we’ve got like, what…two gay guys here?
Oh wait, three, forgot about your brother’s ex drama. ”
“God, don’t,” Reno groaned. “I try to ignore them.”
“They’re doing a real bad job of ignoring each other,” Carter said with a shake of his head.
“For real,” Jake agreed. “But are there, like, other privileges? Also, like, who’s doing who here?”
“You’re idiots,” I heard myself say, and then laughed when everyone, including Trevor, looked at me in surprise. “Well, you are.”
“Fucking idiots,” Xander agreed after a minute.
“You’re the only two fucking around here,” Reno said, and while I couldn’t see Xander’s face, I watched Reno slowly draw back. “Oh sure, I get to witness you two practically doing it on the counter, but I’m the bad guy…shutting up.”
“Good,” Xander rumbled, and God save me, that really did make me all fluttery.
Jake snapped his fingers. “That’s what it is! Doc has Scary Dog privilege!”
“The fuck does that mean?” Xander asked, but no amount of rage or fury from him was going to break Jake’s spirit; he had to know that.
“I’ll explain it later,” I told him, taking him by the arm. “C’mon.”
“Where are we going? I have—”
“A nap to take, we both slept like shit and we could use a nap.”
“Nap,” I heard Trevor snort, and the rest of them started snickering.
“And raw gay sex!” I called back into the room.
The music in Cait’s office cut off. “Thank you so much for that imagery.”
“Sorry, Cait, I’ll get you a beer and a sandwich later to make up for it,” I said, rapping my knuckles on the door.
We stepped outside, and I looked at him. “You okay?”
He stopped and looked up at the sky, taking a deep breath and smiled at me. “Yeah…I think I am. Feels like everything I was worrying about was stupid and pointless. You were right there, going through my bullshit.”
“Mmm, so far worth it.”
“And if it isn’t, down the road?”
“Then I guess we go down the road and find out.”
He considered that for a moment before nodding. “Alright, down the road, I guess.”
I took his hand in mine and walked back down the path to his cabin.
For a nap, of course.
