Chapter 19 Trap Exposed
The footage from the room played on the screen.
Wen Yu lay quietly on the bed, a sack pulled over his head.
My clenched fists gave away my panic.

The sack was thrown on the ground, and men with steel pipes swung down hard.
The sack twitched a few times, blood seeping out slowly like a stream.
My eyes nearly popped out, cold sweat soaking me.

Wen Qi crouched in front of me.

The drug's effects faded. I looked up at him.
On the screen behind him, the sack was untied, revealing a bloody, mangled face.
