Chapter 34 #3
His lips curved into a knowing smile as he gently removed her bangles one by one.
“Oh, trust me, I’m fighting every instinct right now,” he confessed in his voice husky.
“But I’m learning to be patient. I’ve heard from my friends, including Rohit, that a husband’s patience is the most important aspect of a relationship. ”
“Rohit said that?”
Ruhaan nodded, his grin widening. “Yes. And for once, I think he’s right.”
His charm, his teasing, everything about him was so intoxicating that she didn’t realize when he reached for her earrings.
His fingers brushed against her skin as he unclasped them, his touch sending tiny sparks down her spine.
The moment he removed one, he leaned in and nibbled her earlobe, making her shiver.
Her laughter stilled.
Ruhaan smirked against her skin. “What happened? Cat got your tongue?”
Her lips parted, but words failed her. The playful atmosphere between them shifted into an electrifying tension. Her hands instinctively clutched his kurta as he removed the second earring, his lips trailing featherlight kisses along the shell of her ear, down her jawline.
He pulled back slightly, just enough to see the way her eyes darkened with need. “Tell me, Mrs. Singh,” he whispered, his voice husky. “Are you still planning on sleeping the moment you hit the bed?”
She swallowed hard, barely able to process a response as his fingers traced the intricate embroidery of her bridal blouse.
“I… I said... I changed my mind.”
Ruhaan grinned. “Good. Because I plan to make the most of this night.”
His hands slowly moved down, finding the delicate bangles still circling her wrists. One by one, he slid them off, his fingertips brushing against her skin in the process. The anticipation between them built with every soft and deliberate touch.
He took his time, undoing the ties of her lehenga with an agonizing slowness, savoring every second of undressing his wife for the first time. The heavy fabric slid down, pooling at her feet, leaving her in the delicate layers of her bridal lingerie.
Naina felt bare. There was something about the way Ruhaan looked at her, like she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. His fingers traced up her bare thighs, his touch sending waves of pleasure through her.
“You’re stunning,” he murmured, his lips brushing against her shoulder as he pushed off her outfit away that had pooled around them.
He kissed her collarbone next, his hands caressing her bare waist, his touch burning into her skin.
She bit her lip, overwhelmed with emotions—love, desire, happiness, all wrapped into one. “I love you.”
Ruhaan stilled for a moment, lifting his gaze to hers. The way she said it, the way she looked at him with such devotion, it wrecked him. He cupped her face.
“I love you more,” he responded, leaning in to capture her lips in a kiss that spoke of promises, of forever, of a love that would only grow stronger with each passing day.
Their kiss deepened, the heat between them rising with every passing second.
Ruhaan gently guided her down onto the bed, his body hovering over hers, refusing to break their passionate embrace.
His hands explored her curves, leaving a trail of fire in their wake, igniting every inch of her skin with longing.
Between feathered kisses along her jaw and cheeks, he whispered huskily, telling her just how much he had longed for this moment, how every second apart had only fueled his desire for her.
Naina gasped softly, her breath hitching when his fingers deftly unclasped her bralette, slipping it off her shoulders.
His gaze darkened with raw hunger as he took in the sight of her.
He kneaded her breasts with love, his mouth replacing his fingers soon enough to devour them.
Naina was lost in another world of pain and pleasure she never knew existed.
Her hands roamed over his sherwani, silently pleading for its removal. Understanding her silent request, he shrugged it off, allowing himself to part from her for just a few seconds, though even that felt too long.
As soon as he was free of it, her fingers traced over his bare chest, marveling at how this irresistibly alluring man was now hers, forever.
Ruhaan smirked at her innocent yet sinful exploration, his arousal growing as her hands drifted lower, teasing the firm ridges of his abdomen.
His gaze darkened with unrestrained desire as she reached his waistline, her fingers playing with the strings of his sherwani pants.
His lips found the curve of her neck, lingering for just a moment before his teeth grazed her sensitive skin. He pulled back briefly, stripping away the last of his clothes before returning to her, capturing her mouth in a slow, consuming kiss, drawing out every ounce of longing between them.
Naina whimpered against his lips when his fingers trailed lower, teasing and dipping into her slick heat.
His strokes grew firmer, harder, sending waves of pleasure crashing through her.
Her body trembled as the intensity of his touch built higher and higher, until all she could see were dazzling, blinding stars.
A desperate moan escaped her as she lost herself beneath him, her body surrendering completely.
He bit down on her neck, marking her, before pulling back to take in the sight of her—flushed, breathless, utterly his.
The next moments blurred into pure ecstasy as he positioned himself between her thighs, pushing into her with slow, measured strokes, letting her adjust to him.
His forehead rested against hers, his breath mingling with hers, his movements deep and worshipping, as if every thrust was a vow.
It was more than just the physical connection. It was heart to heart, soul to soul.
With every slide deeper, he pushed her closer to the edge, driving her into a state of bliss so intense she thought she might shatter. Her body clenched around him, her cries of pleasure making his control slip. He groaned, his pace turning urgent, his own release chasing hers.
When she shattered around him, her body trembling from the force of her climax, he let himself go, following her into the abyss of pleasure. His heart pounded, his body pulsed, and with one final thrust, he spilled into her, filling her completely.
As their bodies remained entwined, hearts pounding in unison, Ruhaan brushed a stray strand of hair from Naina’s flushed face.
“You okay?” he asked her with concern but Naina just nodded her head, smiling contented. He took a sigh of relief before he whispered against her lips.
“I never knew love could feel this way… like I’ve finally found where I belong.”
Naina cupped his face, pulling him down for another kiss.
“And I never thought I’d get a second chance at this… at love, at family. And now, here we are… together.”
“Together… forever.” Ruhaan leaned in, pressing his forehead against hers.
“You do realize you’ve spoiled me for life now, don’t you?”
“Oh, I’m just getting started, Mrs. Singh.”
“And here I thought I’d be the one making all the rules in this marriage,” she pouted.
“You can make the rules… just remember, I’m the one who gets to break them.”
She gasped as he suddenly rolled her beneath him again, his mischievous grin making her pulse race.
“Ruhaan!”
“What?” he grinned. “You’re my wife now… and I have all night to prove just how much I love you.”
She wrapped her arms around him, surrendering to the love, the passion, and the beautiful life that awaited them.
**************
An hour Later
After cleaning up and making loads of love on their wedding night, Ruhaan and Naina finally lay entwined in each other’s arms, their bodies still warm from their intimate encounter.
She lay against his chest, her fingers lazily tracing invisible patterns over his skin.
Ruhaan draped his arm securely around her waist, holding her close as if unwilling to let even a sliver of distance come between them.
“So, tell me about Neil’s study routine,” he murmured against her hair. “What do we need to focus on for his mid-terms?”
She chuckled at the unexpected question, tilting her head to look up at him. “You really want to talk about Neil’s studies right now?”
“Why not? His midterms are coming up, and I should know what I’m getting myself into.”
Naina nestled closer, resting her chin on his chest. “He studies after school for an hour, then takes a break. I make sure he revises everything before bed, especially in the last few days before exams. But Ruhaan, I must warn you—he’s a master of excuses.
He will try every trick in the book to escape studying. ”
“He does that?” Ruhaan chuckled.
“Oh, you have no idea,” Naina said, lifting her head to look at him. “He’s quite the negotiator when it comes to avoiding his books.”
He scoffed playfully. “Oh, trust me, I have my ways. I’ve been doing some research, you know.”
She lifted a brow. “Research?”
H grinned, rubbing the tip of his nose against hers. “I’ve been following parenting YouTube channels. They have these amazing techniques on how to be a good father. I even watched a whole segment on how to get kids to study without making it seem like a punishment.”
Naina burst into laughter, cupping his face. “You already are everything that he needs. You don’t need to upgrade your skills.” She pressed a gentle kiss to his jaw. “At this rate, you might even overshadow me… his mother.”
He pressed a lingering kiss on her lips, pulling her even closer. “Impossible. No one can replace his mother. But I can at least try to match you, right?”
Their lips met again in a sweet, lingering kiss again before Ruhaan pulled back with a thoughtful expression. “Speaking of which... if you haven’t decided on our honeymoon destination yet, would you mind if I planned it?”
Intrigued, Naina propped herself up on her elbow, resting her cheek against her palm. “Go on. I’m curious.”
“Disneyland,” he announced, watching her face light up. “And before you ask – yes, I want Neil to come with us. I know neither of us would be at peace leaving him behind.”
“What?” Her heart melted at his thoughtfulness. “Are you absolutely sure? It’s our honeymoon...”
He shrugged as if it were the most natural thing in the world. “Of course. He’s our son, Naina. And besides, you already had plans to take him to Disneyland someday, right? He too wants to go there. So why not now?”
“You think too much about us.” Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears of happiness.
Ruhaan cupped her face, brushing a gentle kiss over her forehead. “Why wouldn’t I? We’re a family now, sweetheart. What makes you and Neil happy makes me happy.”
“If that’s the case, can I make a small request? A tiny addition?”
Ruhaan tilted his head. “Addition?”
She traced her fingers over his jaw. “Can we take your mom too?”
Ruhaan blinked. “Mom?”
Naina nodded. “I’ve heard her say she hasn’t traveled anywhere in years. She needs a holiday too, Ruhaan. A break from everything. She deserves it.”
A slow, admiring grin spread across Ruhaan’s face. “God, I love you.” He brushed a kiss over her lips before adding, “Mom’s going to love this. Although…” He chuckled. “She’s going to deny it at first. She’ll come up with a hundred reasons why she shouldn’t go.”
“And if she doesn’t agree, we have Neil to convince her.”
Ruhaan burst into laughter. “Oh yes, that’s a foolproof plan. She can say no to me, she can say no to you, but she can never say no to Neil.”
They both dissolved into laughter.
He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and whispered into her hair, “It’s final then. After Neil’s midterm exams, we’re going to Disneyland.”
She smiled against his chest, wrapping her arm around his waist. “Disneyland… here we come.”
The night wrapped around them like a tender embrace as they drifted off to sleep, their dreams filled with visions of magical castles, Mickey Mouse ears, and the sound of their family’s laughter echoing through the happiest place on earth.
