Chapter 16 #6

I hugged my brothers tightly. How I loved them.

They had been everything to me, the best brothers in the world.

Niky hugged Henry, and I saw that both were extremely emotional.

I suppose her words had touched his heart.

When I left my brothers to go hug Niky, I saw my brothers approach Henry to pat him on the back and shake his hand.

“Let’s start over, Woollardy, and forget the hard feelings,” Bastián said.

“It shall be so,” Henry responded.

When everyone left and we were alone, Henry looked at me.

He was standing in the middle of the living room, and I had just closed the door.

In silence, he began walking toward me, and I did the same, quickly closing the distance.

When we were a step apart, we embraced in a tight hug.

He pulled back slightly, and we looked into each other’s eyes for endless seconds until he lowered his gaze to my lips and kissed me.

I melted into that kiss full of contained emotions, love, desire, passion.

I barely contained the urge to cry, not knowing if it was the emotion of knowing he loved me or the immense love I felt for him.

It was a long kiss that neither of us wanted to end.

After a few minutes, we separated, our foreheads still touching.

“How much I love you, beautiful.”

“And I love you, champion.”

“I needed you so much...” he whispered in my ear.

“Kiss me. Please, kiss me and make love to me.”

He looked at me with eyes glazed with emotion and desire.

We didn’t need to say anything more; words were superfluous, and love floated around us, enveloping and completely seducing us.

He kissed me and lifted me in his arms, beginning to walk toward the bedroom.

When we arrived, he set me down carefully on the floor and made me turn to press his chest against my back.

“I'll take care of undressing you,” he whispered in my ear, and began to lower the zipper of my dress.

The dress slid down my body and fell to the floor. He made me turn again and gave me his hand so I could step away from the dress. Then he moved back a few inches to let his gaze travel over my body like a burning caress.

“You have no idea how much I needed you,” he said.

“Now it's my turn,” I said, and approached to help him take off his clothes.

“I'm all yours,” he affirmed, and those words sounded like glory to me.

I began by removing his jacket with the same urgency he had shown, and quickly removed the rest of his tuxedo pieces until he stood completely naked before me. While I undressed him, he never took his eyes from mine, and at some point he helped me to speed up my task.

He moved closer and kissed me with urgency and ardor, his kisses continuing down my neck, my shoulders, and even lower. My gasps were uncontrollable and growing louder.

“Please,” I whispered.

Until that moment, Henry had taken his time and done everything calmly, but I don't know if it was my plea or my uncontrolled trembling that made him lose control.

He led me to the bed and made me lie down on it.

He kissed my belly and continued downward until he stopped between my legs and slid his tongue inside me.

I screamed and began to writhe with pleasure when a torrent of ecstasy shot through me like lightning.

Henry positioned himself between my legs, which he wrapped around his hips, and penetrated me forcefully.

He began with gentle thrusts and endless kisses, and I matched his rhythm.

He interlaced our fingers and raised our hands while continuing his movements.

His pace quickened, taking complete possession of my body, my heart, and my soul.

“You're mine,” he whispered to me. “I know every part of your body and it was made for me.”

“And you are mine.”

“I am,” he affirmed with conviction.

And our bodies began to convulse when an orgasm ravaged everything and left us dazed.

Henry collapsed onto my body as the waves of pleasure began to slow until they disappeared.

When he raised his head and looked at me, I could see in his eyes all the love he had declared to me and the passion and longing he felt for me.

I hugged him tightly and pressed my lips to his to kiss him and transmit what I felt for him.

“I love you, Henry.”

“The feeling is mutual because I love you, my Dalina.”

He settled beside me and slid his arm under my shoulders to pull me toward his body. I rested my head on his chest and delighted in his touch and his embrace.

“After a long time, tonight I'll be able to sleep,” he affirmed.

I gave him a kiss on the chest and he laughed.

“Though if you kiss me like that, I don't think I'll be able to sleep much.”

“Can you tell me what Niky said to make you think my cousin's wedding was mine?”

“Now that you remind me, I have that pending issue with my sister. I won't trust her word anymore,” he said, smiling.

“Tell me about it.”

“A few days ago I was arriving at my sister's atelier and I saw your car pulling away. Niky told me you had gone for a dress.”

“That's true, I went for the dress I was wearing today.”

“The clever girl didn't tell me that detail, however, she made me believe you had gone for a wedding dress. At first I thought it was the same joke as before and I didn't believe her, but she doubled down and started giving me information that made me doubt, until she finally convinced me.”

“What information?”

“She told me you had been in Paris at a friend's house and I remembered that 'the pretty one' was there.”

“'The pretty one?'” I asked, not understanding.

“That's what you called your friend once when I overheard you talking to him on the phone.”

“Yes, that's what I call Sean.”

“Mmmm, we'll talk about this Sean later,” he said very seriously, which made me smile because his jealous expression amused me. “She told me that he had consoled you, and since he was in love with you, he asked you to marry him and move to France.”

“And you believed her?”

“Not at first, but let me tell you she's a very good actress and knew how to argue her story well.

She told me you were getting married because you wanted to forget about me and start a new life away from everyone.

That's when I started to get a little nervous, but she sealed the deal when she showed me an invitation to the wedding and said you had just given it to her, and if I didn't believe her, I could go with her and confirm it, besides showing me the dress, which I suppose was your cousin's.”

“And what invitation did she show you?”

“I don't know, but I assure you that invitation had your name on it. I suppose she created one.”

“I can't believe Niky came up with all that! But there's something I don't understand, if you didn't want me to get married, why didn't you talk to me before the wedding?”

“Because I went away. I was out of the country and arrived on the day of the wedding.

I left because I didn't want to be around on the day you got married and because I needed to think.

When I came back, Niky told me that the only option I had was to interrupt the wedding because I wouldn't have a chance to talk to you beforehand.”

“Didn’t that seem a little strange to you?”

“Not at all because she was very convincing. She told me that because of the person who attacked me, your brothers had taken the precaution of taking you to a place that nobody knew about, not even her. That you were going to the wedding from there and that someone was coming to pick up the dress.”

“It sounds like a soap opera,” I said, smiling. “When I saw you enter the church, I thought you were in love with my cousin, that’s why I was leaving.”

“With your cousin? I didn’t even know her, poor woman, I can’t imagine what they must have thought of me.”

“It was quite a show.”

“One that I would star in a thousand times if necessary, because thanks to that I have you by my side,” he declared, smiled and pulled me toward him.

That night we slept little because we dedicated ourselves to caressing, kissing, and making love. It was as if we couldn’t stay away from each other or stop declaring our love.
