Ilet Violet in and she wrapped her arms around me, holding me tight.
“Girl, I don’t know what’s going on, but I got you.”
“Thanks for coming over,” I said. “I didn’t want to be alone.”
“Still no word?”
“No,” I said, waving my phone in the air. “He’s not replying or picking up. Neither is Rian. It’s been hours since West woke me up. Theo said he’d come over this morning and he didn’t show up.”
“Well, it’s not even noon yet. Could they be partying together?”
“No, of course not. I called West and Kaylee back and told them what I figured out last night.”
“What?”
“I was looking through some old year books and I think I know who kidnapped me. I think it was an old schoolmate of ours. If she has Theo, too, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Tears sprang to my eyes and she rushed over, putting her arms around me.
“Alright, it’s time to gather the troops and end this shit, once and for all.”
