I felt like I was sinking into hot springs.
Even my breaths burned.
The curtains were drawn tight, blocking every ray of light.
Soft, desperate sounds slipped from my throat.
My tongue went numb.
Chen Yinian cursed.
“Damn it, Su Xiaomian—you still forget to breathe when we kiss. Six years and you forgot everything I taught you?”
He laughed low, lips sticky against the corner of mine as he grumbled.
I bit him, cheeks flaming.
“Chen Yinian, you still swear in bed.”
His breathing roughened.
He lifted slightly, tilted his head, and tore the packet open with his teeth.
“Say my name again,” he rasped, voice hoarse.
“Chen Yinian—”
