Jordy #3

“Why do you have to be such a little weirdo?” He complained lightly, pressing his face to my waist and giving me a little kiss before releasing me and letting me make my way to the cabinets.

I snorted, shrugging. “I don’t know. You’re just so cute and funny when you get all riled up.”

He didn’t answer, but sat back in his chair, watching as I peeled the old sensor off my left arm, tossing it in the trash and quickly wiping a spot on the back of my right arm with an alcohol wipe.

I unscrewed the cap off the applicator, waiting a few seconds for the alcohol to completely evaporate before I popped it onto the back of my upper right arm, pushing down hard so it stuck to my skin.

His eyes suddenly went dark and intense, and I felt a pleasant chill wash over me as I pressed down on the edges of the little circle to make sure it was secure.

“What?” I asked, picking up my phone so I could start the scanning process from the app.

“Nothing,” he said. “You just… You’re just really fucking pretty. You drive me crazy.”

His compliment had butterflies doing barrel rolls in my stomach, but I kept my voice light and easy. “Is this turning you on or something?” I asked, gesturing to the little white circle I’d applied on myself as he’d watched.

He grinned a little, impossibly handsome in my eyes. “Maybe.”

“You’re such a perv,” I joked, trying to give him comically over the top bedroom eyes, putting a sexy little rasp in my voice. “My immune system produces antibodies that totally fuck my pancreas so it can’t produce enough insulin for me. You like that, Daddy?”

“Stop, you’re going to make me hard,” he responded flatly, but he was still grinning, his eyes dancing with affection for me and my dumb antics. We were so stupid sometimes.

“Gee, I don’t know what we’d do if you got hard,” I said, waving the top of my phone over the sensor until it made a little beep and started the 60 minute timer. Stuffing it in my pocket, I rose up from my seat and crawled into his lap, hooking my arms around his neck and snuggling into his chest.

“I missed you,” I murmured, raising up my face so he could kiss me. “I want to sleep next to you again.”

“Eventually,” he promised me softly. “I miss it, too.”

Sighing, I rested my head on his shoulder, basking in the glow of the little bubble we existed in lately. “I love you.”

“I love you, too,” he said. “Is that… the jacket from the trip?” He must have suddenly noticed it laying on the table.

Groaning lightly, I nodded against his shoulder, trying not to laugh at his wary tone. “Mom found it in my room and washed it.”

“You hadn’t washed it yet?” He asked, sounding slightly repulsed. “Jordy, that’s disgusting.”

“Don’t be mean to me,” I whined. “I wasn’t ready.”

“What the hell were you saving it for?”

“I wasn’t saving it,” I denied. “I just… I don’t know. I hadn’t gotten around to it yet.”

I squealed as he suddenly rose from the chair, tightening my grip around his neck as he brought me up with him.

“Let’s fuck on some other article of clothing to make up for it,” He said, and I laughed as he easily made his way up the stairs, my weight seeming to add absolutely no challenge for him.

“Um, okay,” I agreed, wriggling happily as he carried me into his bedroom, lowering me down onto his mattress.

He pulled his shirt up over his head as he straightened, putting his delicious pecs and abs on full display for me.

His body was so perfectly carved, it made me want to scream.

And it was all mine, to do whatever I wanted with it.

Luckily, he seemed pretty happy with all the stuff I’d done with it so far.

I gripped the hem of my shirt, ready to rip it off too, but my phone started vibrating in my pocket, playing the tone for a Facetime call. When I pulled it out, I saw it was Dani.

“Are you going to answer that?” He wondered, leaning a hip onto his dresser, staring down at me.

“Just super quick,” I said. I knew if I didn’t answer, she’d keep calling over and over. Answering it, I propped myself up on my elbows a little as she came onto the screen. “Hey.”

“Hey!” She greeted me. “What are you doing?”

“Nothing,” I said quickly. “What’s up?”

She opened her mouth to answer, but narrowed her eyes a little, bringing the phone closer to her face so she could scrutinize me.

“That’s not your bedspread, Jordy,” she pointed out, a sadistic teasing tone dripping from the sentence. I glanced down next to me at Kieran’s dark blanket, biting down into my lower lip to keep from laughing. “Wait, oh my god, are you in Kieran’s bed?”

“Uh…” I trailed off, refusing to feel guilty.

“Is he there?” She demanded. “Wait, did you guys just do it?”

“We didn’t do it yet,” I said pointedly, and Kieran let out an exasperated little groan from his spot a few feet away. He probably didn’t love the fact that Dani knew about us, but she was my best friend. I couldn’t hide anything from her, and she’d never rat us out.

“Oh!” She realized. “Oh my god, sorry! I totally interrupted you, right?”

“Just a little.”

“Okay, I’ll be super quick,” she promised apologetically, and the smug little smirk on her face let me know she was happy for me. “I just want to know what time you want me to swing by later to pick you up for the charity date auction thing. It starts at 4:00, right?”

“Oh, Christ,” I said, rolling my eyes. “I completely forgot about that.”

“The… what?” Kieran asked, tilting his head, but his eyes and voice had darkened dangerously.

Fuck.

Looking at him over the top of my phone, I tried to look innocent. “Um, it’s just this silly thing they’re doing at the center. It’s, like, um, you just bid on a date with someone and the money goes to charity. It’s no big deal.”

“And you’re attending because…?”

Wincing slightly, I tried not to grimace at his expression. “Because I… maybe agreed to be bid on. A month ago!” I added quickly.

“You agreed to go on a date,” he determined, blinking slowly at me, his ultra serious expression not even slightly budging. He was pissed. I knew he was pissed. “With whatever stranger happens to have a few bucks to throw at a charity.”

“I… Uh…”

“Jordy, I’m gonna go,” Dani said quickly. I didn’t blame her. She could probably feel the heavy tension radiating off Kieran’s form through the back of my phone. “Just text me when you want me to come, okay?”

“Okay,” I said weakly, and the call ended with a click.

Letting it drop onto the mattress, I returned my eyes to him.

“Listen, Kieran, don’t be mad. It’s totally not a big deal.

Dave is going to vet all the participants, so there’s not going to be any dangerous creeps or anything, and it’s all for charity, and-”

“So you’re going on a date. With someone that isn’t me.”

“I agreed to this before we started, um, you know, seeing each other or whatever. I had no idea we were going to be like this!”

He exhaled, a soft growl rumbling up his throat and sending shivers down my spine. “You’re mine,” he said, ignoring my statement completely as he knelt down on the bed, hovering over me. “Mine,” he repeated, reaching out to grip my chin so I was forced to keep staring up at him.

“I am,” I assured him, feeling my stomach drop at the look in his eyes. “You know I am.”

“So you’re going to tell them you can’t make it tonight.”

“Kieran, I can’t! I already promised, and it’s literally the last minute. And it’s for charity,” I repeated, though I was starting to realize that part meant nothing to him. And he definitely wasn’t looking particularly charitable at the moment.

“I don’t give a fuck what it’s for.” He bit out the words between his teeth. “You’re not going out with someone else.”

“It’s not like a real date or anything, everyone knows it’s just for fun.”

“You’re going to have fun on a date with someone else?” He asked, raising his eyebrows like my statement had shocked him.

“N-no!” I said quickly, backpedaling. “Of course I won’t!

” Realizing my nonexistent strategy wasn’t getting me anywhere near digging me out of this hole I was in, I switched gears.

Reaching up to stroke my hands over his arm where he was still holding my chin, I blinked my lashes at him.

“You know I’d rather be with you than anyone else. ”

He scoffed a little, raising his eyes up to the ceiling for a moment as his tongue slid around his teeth.

“So let me get this straight, to be sure I’m fully grasping the situation,” he said. “You love me.”

“Yes,” I said, before he put a finger over my lips.

“Don’t interrupt me,” he ordered flatly.

I could only nod wordlessly. “You love me. You want to be with me. Only me,” he added, and I nodded again, trying desperately to radiate that concept to him through my eyes.

“And yet you’re going to get all dressed up and prance around a stage and try to look cute for a bunch of strangers, in hopes that they’ll be willing to give the most money to some fucking charity, so they can take you out on a date. ”

Feeling like I was backed into a corner, I waited for him to lift his finger off my lips. “Not exactly.”

“Not exactly,” he repeated, giving a single caustic little laugh. “Oh, my pretty, clueless little angel. And you won’t cancel.”

“I can’t,” I repeated weakly. “I’m sorry.”

“You’re going to be sorry,” he promised me. “I’m going to make sure that you never, ever pull some shit like this on me ever again.”

“I won’t.”

“I know you won’t,” he said.

A gasp broke off in my throat as he yanked my pants down my legs.
