CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR
week two
IMOGEN
IMOGEN: I submitted a few of my applications today.
ROMAN: How do you feel?
IMOGEN: Fucking terrified. What if none of them let me in?
ROMAN: Then we figure something else out. But, you have to stay positive, okay?
IMOGEN: Heard anything about the hearing yet?
ROMAN: Nope. When I know, you’ll know.
IMOGEN: God, this sucks. Are you still coming over? Logan and I are doing movie night.
My brother’s been trying to maintain some sense of normalcy around the house, refusing to let me get too down in the dumps about all of this. Everything just feels so strange now, but I’m trying to stay focused on the good things.
Stay positive, just like he said.
ROMAN: I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
