Chapter 13 Mia

Chapter thirteen

Mia

I kicked out my foot and tripped T’ukka as he paced across our room for the two-hundredth time, which, yeah, was a little mean, but he was also being very annoying.

Watching him fly across the room was rather gratifying.

Of course, with his alien ancestry and constant fight training with Axel, he had incredible reflexes, so it wasn’t as funny as it could have been.

He landed in an athletic crouch, turning to look at me with fire in his eyes.

His brows lowered and a muscle at the corner of his jaw ticked.

“Oops?” I said, grinning. “I don’t know how my foot got there.

“You’d think as a scientist that you’d understand that every action has a reaction,” he growled, standing in a smooth, athletic motion.

The way he prowled across the room like a feral beast made me want to drop to the floor and offer to serve him.

Fine, I did that quite often, anyway. My eyes darted down to the bulge in his pants before I glanced up at his thunderous frown.

“It was meant to be a distraction!” I yelped, scrambling across to the other side of the bed, as if that would save me. “Look, you’re no longer pacing like a caged animal.”

“Caged animal is an appropriate way to describe me, little one.” His voice was a low, threatening rumble that made my panties a little wet. “And you’ve uncaged me, have you?”

I honestly couldn’t tell if the big purple oaf was angry or messing with me.

I tried to read him through our psychic connection.

Somehow, everyone’s thoughts only popped into my mind at random useless times, not when I wanted them to.

We circled the bed for a moment; me moving so that the big, round mattress was always between us.

I thought for a moment that I had him, that he’d never catch me, but in an impossibly fast move, he leaped over the bed and grabbed me around the waist. I squealed, laughing as he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder, giving me a quick swat to my ass.

“Perhaps we can distract you more,” I said, squirming against his hand. “I’m open to any kinds of distractions.”

A throat cleared, and T’ukka stilled, turning towards the door with me still over his shoulder.

How had someone walked into our private quarters?

Had we left the door open? I tried to determine who had come into the room, but I couldn’t see past the massive bulk of my husband’s shoulders and chest. I kicked my legs, and T’ukka adjusted his hand, forcing me to stay still. Damn his gigantic size.

Commander An’Mu’ol’s voice was pretty recognizable when he finally spoke. “I’m glad to see you’re taking our impending war seriously.”

“Oh, it’s super serious,” I said. “We’re being serious!”

“Mia was trying to calm me down,” T’ukka said smoothly.

“Axel and Cix are about to speak in front of the UN, and our nerves translate to theirs with the psychic link between us. We had no idea that the Bhesai Ker’el connection would travel this far.

” T’ukka was speaking as if he didn’t have his hand on my ass.

Right, so we were going to fake like we weren’t insane if the commander could just wander into our quarters at any moment.

At the palace, T’ukka’s quarters had been sacred, a prince’s space.

I shot my husband a mental demand, and he finally put me down, holding me firmly in front of him. Just when I thought I could escape.

“I understand that the growing connection can have unexpected consequences,” the commander said, looking around our room. “Is everything in order with them?”

“Cix is going to reveal himself and he’s freaking out, but Axel is, er, calming him down.

” Damn, I shouldn’t have said it with so much sexual innuendo.

Had there been sexual innuendo? I glanced at the commander, trying to see how much he truly understood.

Hopefully, he wasn’t aware that we could feel Axel, feel his mouth wrapped around Cix’s cock, distracting our lovely little Vul from his high-level panic attack.

How he had ever been a spy was beyond me, but he kept assuring us he wasn’t normally this nervous, but that was a little difficult to believe.

Part of what made our sweet boy cute was his anxiousness.

The commander didn’t speak for a moment, then nodded.

“Understood. Please do your best to make sure that goes well for all parties concerned. Nora, On’nas, and I will be speaking as well, via the communicators, and I’d like you and Mia to speak.

And Mia’s brother has volunteered to share his experiences with our medical procedures.

We want to present a united front. A united, happy front. ”

“Okay,” T’ukka let go of my arm just slightly, then shoved me beside him and pasted on a really weird smile, all stiff and wide-eyed.

“Stop looking so fake,” I whispered, elbowing him.

“I don’t know how to look un-fake,” he muttered back. “Like this?” He stretched out his neck for some reason, spreading his lips even wider, and his smile got so much more awkward. I glanced at the commander, who was staring at T’ukka in wide-eyed horror.

“Prince An’T’ukka, you’d better just keep a straight face,” Commander An’Mu’ol said, and to my surprise, there was a bit of humor in the serious man’s eyes.

Maybe On’nas was wearing off on him a little, and that thought made me smile.

“There, look. Mia knows how to smile genuinely. Why do you look psychotic when you try it?”

T’ukka rolled his eyes. “I can smile. I just can’t smile on command.”

“Well, figure it out. The goal here is to clarify that we have the human’s best interests in mind.”

“Do you, though?” I asked. T’ukka glanced at me, wide-eyed. “Sorry, it’s only the way you came to Earth that makes me question you. What with the way it looked like an attack?”

The commander paused, then shrugged. “It was not intended to come across as an attack, but the humans were naturally frightened by our superior technology.”

“Right,” I said, blinking slowly.

“Listen, our goal is to find a way for our interests to align with the interests of the people on the planets we help. We wish to stop the Vul from destroying the planet, and we wish to colonize the planet and live in peace with the humans.”

“But as overlords,” I said. “Perhaps you should stop the overlord thing.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll convince the leadership of that right now.

” And then, impossibly, Commander Mu’ol winked, like he’d made a joke.

“You have twenty minutes, Earth time, then we’re on.

” He turned and stalked out of the room, and in that moment, I could really see why Nora had fallen for him. He was magnificent, really.

“He can make jokes?” I whispered to T’ukka, who was staring out the window, deep in thought.

He tilted his head and looked back at me. “Should I be calling myself an overlord instead of a prince? Has a nice ring to it.”

He tilted his head and looked back at me. “Should I be calling myself an overlord instead of a prince? Has a nice ring to it.”

“I think like somewhere along the way, you missed the point,” I said, wrapping my arms around his waist and kissing him.

He chuckled, kissing me back. “Me? Miss the point, never.”

“We need to figure out how to partition off our thoughts a little better. It became exceedingly difficult to concentrate on what Commander An’Mu’ol was saying during that entire exchange.

” I closed my eyes, and I saw Axel from Cix’s perspective.

His eyes were closed, his golden streaked hair falling in across his forehead, and his lips slid up and down Cix’s orange shafts.

Cix was really enjoying himself, especially when Axel stuffed two fingers inside him.

I opened my eyes, glanced at T’ukka, and saw that his cock was a thick ridge in his pants.

“Twenty minutes,” I said firmly.

“I could fuck you in twenty minutes.”

“I’ll just suck you off. I kind of wanted to earlier when you went all alpha male on me, anyway.”

“Alpha male like this?” he asked in that growly voice that made me want to squirm for him. “Why don’t you call me your benevolent overlord now?”

“Oh fuck no,” I said, laughing up at my big alien as I kneeled in front of him. His cock was so damn delicious, and my mouth was watering as I undid the laces on his pants, licking my lips as I thought about tasting his cum.
