Chapter 16 #2
An explosive heat rushes to Ray’s face. His chest feels like it’s about to burst; his mouth hangs open, eyes wide like a deer caught in traffic. “Actually, um, I didn’t know that. Yeah, we live together, but I’ve never seen him completely naked like that.”
“Not even after a shower?”
“No, no, I mean…” He scrunches his nose, trying to compose himself. If he’s even bigger than me, just imagine what it’d be like to be fucked by him… “Usually I would just look away. It’s not like I’ve gotten a good look at him like that or anything.”
“I see,” Carol giggles, now seeming to get a kick out of the awkward conversation. “You do have bigger balls than him, though. For sure.”
Ray waves his hand in front of her. I can barely handle this. “Okay. Okay, I get it. But knowing this isn’t, um… It’s not like it’s going to help me pleasure you any better. It’s not like I can make my dick grow larger, y’know.”
“You’re right, sorry.” She giggles some more. “Alright. Maybe for something better… Hmm.” She puts a finger to her plump bottom lip. “When we did it, Gene was rather submissive. He let me on top and I took control. I don’t think we’ve tried it that way, yet.”
Wow. Ray can now feel the heat spreading to his ears, his neck, his chest. He can’t control his thoughts. Images flash through his mind: Gene underneath him, submissive, mouth open and whimpering, moaning Ray’s name, crying out in ecstasy after Ray’s thrust, after thrust, after thrust…
Oh man. I wouldn’t mind if he fucked me or I fucked him, both seem great—
“Ray? You alright? You drunk?”
Carol’s voice snaps him back to reality.
He shakes his head. “Yeah, I’m alright. Maybe I am a little drunk.” He laughs. “But you’re right. We should try it out that way.”
Because Carol is who he should be thinking about.
What the fuck is he doing, visualizing sex with Gene?
He really must be drunk if his mind is taking a vacation, imagining things that are such a literal impossibility, he shouldn’t be thinking them in the first place.
What’s the fucking point? Carol is right here in front of him.
She wants to be intimate with him. She’s who his mind should focus on.
“Would you like to try it that way tonight?” she asks.
“Sure, that sounds fun.” He smiles.
He’s with Carol, and he likes her a lot.
He’s glad that she’s with him. It seems like she wants to stay with him, regardless of how awkward he’s being.
Why should he bother thinking of Gene in a sexual way?
All it’s going to do is make him more frustrated.
That’s not even getting into the thick of it, tapping into emotions he’d rather leave hidden and forgotten—that being with Gene, romantically or sexually, would never work out.
It would be a terrible idea. They’re both men.
They’re in a band. Such a scandal would ruin the future of their careers.
Every negative outcome that’s ever popped into his head bounces around in his mind like a ping-pong ball.
But rather than mope around and cry about it, he should be fine. Carol reaches over to him, and sets her hand on his thigh. “What if… I tied your hands back?” she says. “With one of your scarves or something.”
If Ray thought he was blushing hard before, he sure as hell is now. He smiles sheepishly. “Oh, I like the sound of that. Yeah, whatever you want. That sounds good.”
Carol is exactly who he needs to keep his mind on track, especially if she wants to go to further lengths with sex and get a little kinky with things.
He didn’t even realize the idea of being tied up would excite him so much.
His cock sure takes notice, feeling it strain in his underwear.
Ray adores Carol—she’s beautiful, smart, funny, and simply seems to understand him in a way that no other woman has before.
Despite a rough start, he wants to make things work with her.
It’s then he realizes, while they have been ‘together’ on this tour for a little while, they haven’t really talked about their relationship, and what they want moving forward.
Ray wants to do better than the disaster that was his relationship with Harriet.
His heart rate ramps up, sweat trickling down his chest.
“Carrie, will you go steady with me?”
Her mouth opens in a gasp. The touch of her hand on his thigh is so warm. “We… we aren’t already?”
He chuckles. “I’ve never properly asked you yet. We’ve never talked about it. So, no, not technically. But we could be steady, if you want it.”
“Then yes. I want it.” She smiles. “I suppose this is better, talking about it and making sure, rather than assuming. Better communication. Assuming things is how I ended up sad about Gene in the first place. So… thank you, Ray.”
“You’re most welcome, Carrie.”
“That also means—you want to be exclusive? No seeing other people.”
I can do it this time. I can be better. “Exactly. You’re the only beauty on my mind. The only one I want to be with.”
Unless you count Gene…
He slaps that notion down before he can give it more thought.
“Alright. Then we’ve made it official—I’m your girlfriend.”
He grins at that. “And I’m your boyfriend, Carrie.”
