Chapter 15 Aniyah #2
Maybe the strongest thing I could do was not break them but let them see that I could be broken yet still choose to rise, teeth bared and blood-slicked, just to take them again.
A sob twisted into a moan as Alic grunted, his hips pounding harder, that possessive rumble in his chest vibrating against my back.
Lucus groaned at the same time, fucking my mouth like he was losing his goddamn mind.
And just like that, the introspection vanished. It drowned beneath their growls, their thrusts, the twin shadows roaring inside me louder than ever.
My wings twitched in Alic’s grip, and I knew I’d let the chaos back in. I enjoyed it too much now that I’d released it.
Lucus was close. His whole body trembled when I stuck out my tongue to make more room for him, and he cursed under his breath.
“Fuck. Gods, fuck.” That last one came out more like a curse.
His hand tightened, his rhythm unraveling as he lost control, spilling his salty release down my throat. “Fuck! You little bitch,” he cried out like he knew I’d won. Like he understood I’d taken control. I broke him first.
What I didn’t expect was the sudden way he pulled out of my mouth, crouched down, and surged forward, using the same force to kiss me.
His tongue pushed deep, desperate to take something back, or so I thought.
Instead, his hands shook as they cradled my face, his low, all-consuming moans pouring into me as if the kiss were the last thing holding him together.
The thing he wanted burned in my memory from this moment.
Even as Alic slammed into me with enough force to make the table quake, Lucus clung to me like I was his lifeline.
He didn’t let go, not giving an inch until he told me, without a single word, what he was feeling right in this moment.
It was the type of declaration, the type of promise that seemed impossible, improbable.
The part of me I kept buried, shoved so deep I forgot it existed, perked up, and with greedy claws, it reached out to clutch that unrealistic promise then scurried back into the depths of my soul.
When the kiss ended, Lucus rested his forehead against mine, our panting breaths mingling to become one.
My head bounced against his with every thrust Alic delivered, but somehow, in the eye of the storm, Lucus made it feel like this moment was just ours.
His silver eyes held mine, drinking me in before he finally collapsed back into my chair, the moment severed. A grin tugged at his lips.
“Come on, big guy. Don’t you think our girl’s earned hers?” he said, voice teasing. “She’s been so good.”
Alic just grunted, wordless and wild, before grabbing me by the throat and lifting me upright, grabbing my thighs and planting my knees on the desk for balance. He buried his face in my hair, fingers locked around my neck like I was his only anchor, then fucked me with a fevered urgency.
The pleasure came like a fog, thick and dizzying, and I surrendered. I became nothing more than his perfect toy, something he could lose himself in. His body locked behind me, fingers digging into flesh as he came with a roar, pouring his heat deep inside.
Stars detonated behind my eyes as the orgasm crashed over me, sudden, brutal, glorious. I clenched so hard I thought I might snap in half, the force of it breaking me apart inside and out.
His grip slackened, and I collapsed, my cheek pressed to the desk, chest heaving, body wrecked in the most delicious way.
A hand brushed my hair back, planting soft kisses up the curve of my neck to my ear. Each little spark made me twitch, muscles clenching around Alic’s cock still buried inside me.
Alic whimpered, hand trembling as it ghosted down my back, hesitant. Too gentle.
Lucus' lips suddenly stopped. I blinked up and saw his hand hovering, his face wide-eyed. Then I blinked, and the cocky smirk I’d come to expect was looking down at me. Did I imagine that look?
“I’m sorry, Ni. I’m so fucking sorry.”
Alic pulled out, and I grunted at the loss. There was a loud thud behind me. A glance over my shoulder showed that he'd dropped to his knees, shaking his head like it would erase what just happened.
Lucus rolled his eyes, leaned down to kiss me softly on my lips, then murmured, “Gods, he’s got a complex. Good luck.”
I shoved him half-heartedly. “Shut up. Help me.”
With a mocking bow, Lucus gently lifted me to sit on the desk's edge.
I pointed toward the double-doored closet with all my extra clothes for everyday business and my shows. Lucus got up, shoving his pants back on before swaggering over to the closet doors, opening them, and looking around.
I didn't even need to tell him what to get. He quickly grabbed the red silk robe hanging there and came back to me. He draped it over my shoulders like a gentleman, then went straight for the liquor cabinet behind my desk like a rogue. Help yourself, I guess.
Behind Alic, a couple of groans echoed, my wolf and my mage waking up from their unexpected nap. Great. They were going to want an explanation, which was going to be annoying, but I needed to deal with my troll first.
“Alic.” His shoulders froze. I slid off the desk, tied the rope from the robe around my waist, and carefully walked over to him. My hand landed on his shoulder.
“You didn’t do anything wrong.”
His head whipped up. His eyes full of horror, he gawked at me. “How can you say that? I-I took you. I just t-tossed you around and took you.”
I steadied myself, voice calm but fierce. “You didn’t take anything I didn’t give,” I insisted, but he wasn’t listening, his eyes locked on my neck like it physically hurt him to see it.
He shot up to standing, reached toward me with a trembling hand, then yanked it back like he’d nearly touched fire.
That’s it. My wings flared wide as I hovered, bringing myself eye-level with him, and I jabbed a finger into his chest.
“Listen to me and listen good. I wanted that,” I growled, pointing to the desk, then around the room. “I wanted all of it.”
He tried to look away, but I slapped him just hard enough to drag his gaze back to mine.
“I’m stronger than you, and I proved it. I’m still here. I wanted it. I relished it.” I landed on the floor, pressed against him, allowing me to feel his muscles tighten at the contact. I licked my lips, my voice dark and husky when I continued. “I want it again, and another time as well.”
“Hear, hear,” Lucus chimed from the bar, glass raised in a smug toast.
We glared at him.
He just laughed. “Gods, you two make the same face. It’s adorable.”
“What the fuck happened?” Van groaned as he sat up, rubbing his head and surveying the destruction. “No, seriously.” His tone dropped into that boss voice that made everyone freeze. “What the fuck happened?”
The wolf shoved a broken shelf off his chest, mask still on. He pointed to Van and echoed, “What he said.”
I was inhaling deeply, getting ready to spin something that made sense, when some hot demon with wide red eyes burst into view, shirt wrinkled, hair a mess, wearing a panicked look that immediately caught my attention.
“Aniyah, you need to get out of here. Something’s going on. I don’t know what, but I have a—”
Before he could finish, a loud BOOM sounded above us as the building shook.
