CHAPTER 31

Avishka has a veil on her face, and she is coming holding Aashi's hand, and the smile on Aashi's face is worth seeing. Prakram is seated in front, his gaze solely focused on Aashi's radiant smile. Seeing her smiling, jolly face and the smile on Prakram's face is also worth seeing now. Prakram's eyes automatically go towards Avishka, who currently has a long veil on her face. He immediately looks towards the Pandit who is reciting the mantra, and upon seeing Avishka, he utters the following words:

"The bride came and sat on her future husband's left side."

Prakram's eyes are only on the fire burning in front, and he is unaware of anything else; his thoughts have gone into the previous day.

YESTERDAY INCIDENT

“Are you sure this is happening?”

"Absolutely, sir, I am sure that sir has promised Agnihotri that his elder daughter is going to get married to you, and at the same time, he is going to get you married immediately as soon as you reach Punjab, and on the same day, it is also going to be final."

"Dad wants to get me married or make a deal."

I regret to inform you that it's possible you're not fully grasping certain aspects. At this time, you have earned a lot of fame, not only in the business world but also in the mafia. Everyone dreams of achieving the position you are in these three years. Agnihotri wants to take full advantage of your status, so it doesn't matter to him whether the boy he's getting his daughter married to is right for her or not. That girl is much younger than you, and she is hardly 21. As far as I know, she might not be ready for marriage, but her father is forcing her to marry you because of your status."

"I have told my father clearly that I do not want to get married. Why is he not able to understand this, and he is forcefully getting me married to a 21-year-old girl, even though I have forcefully married her? But so what? That girl will be able to handle my Aashi."

"Sir, I did not want to tell you this, but I have come to know from the servants that Sir is not worried about Aashi; Sir is worried about getting you married as soon as possible and taking his business forward, and at the same time, he is worried about the grandson. Even though he loves Aashi very much, he is definitely after getting you married."

"I don't want to hear all this nonsense, and you know that's not going to happen.”

"Sandhya mam never ignores anything said by Digvijay sir, and this time this task has been given to her to force you to marry their desired girl because we all know very well that you do not ignore anything said by Sandhya mam.”

"I have also told Mom, not once but many times, that I do not want a wife for myself, but a mother for Aashi."

"Sir, I'm uncertain about the details, but she informed me that we must return to Punjab as soon as the Orissa project concludes, and judging by her firm tone, I sense that he will also accompany Digvijay Sir on this decision. She has agreed to his words this time because she also wants to see you with the family. She is a mother. Try to understand her situation. She wants you to be happy."

Armaan looks at Aashi and Avishka, who are currently sleeping very well together in front of him.

"Sir Actually, somewhere I feel that Digvijay sir is feeling that when Aashi is very happy with her nanny, then the girl coming into such a situation will not have much need to worry about Aashi after marrying you. Her nanny will take care of her the way she has been taking care of her till now."

Prakram's eyes immediately go towards Avishka, whose face is still covered, and he has neither tried nor had any desire to look at her face. He keeps looking at her for some time, and then with longing.

"Prepare for the wedding; the entire wedding should be well recorded as proof, and there should not be anything where my father can raise any questions.”

"Sir…"

Armaan is very surprised, but he never asks anything back from Parakram, so he nods his head and immediately departs from there.

After a few hours, when Avishka regains consciousness, she smiles softly when she sees Aashi near her, but immediately she also feels the presence of someone else, due to which she searches for her dupatta, which is covering her face. However, it was only Prakram, who was sitting on a nearby chair, who immediately informed her of the situation.

"Aashi is in a deep sleep due to the medicines, and it is very important for me to talk to you.”

Avishka is very nervous after hearing his voice, so she sits down. Prakram gives her the food, which she holds with trembling hands but does not eat. He says this, staring at her.

"Eat your food quickly; otherwise, if you do not eat food here, then we will not give food to Vishnu and Padma too."

Upon hearing this, her entire body trembles, rendering her unable to comprehend anything. Parakram places his mobile in front of her, where Vishnu and Padma are tied with ropes.

"You think it's so easy that you run away from here, and they both run away from there."

"Sir, I made a mistake. Don't do anything to these two."

"Eat first because it is more important to talk."

Despite having no desire to eat, Avishka finds herself compelled to swallow the food. Even for a moment, Prakram's eyes are not moving away from her. And this seems to scare her in a strange way. Avishka is able to eat a little bit with great difficulty. Prakram, who was watching her, is sitting silently. Meanwhile, Armaan brings something into the room, which Prakram signals to keep on the bed and gestures for him to leave quickly. Avishka is very surprised because he is not saying anything, and the silence in the room right now is so scary that Parakram can even hear his heartbeats.

"This is a wedding dress; get ready to wear it tomorrow.”

Avishka definitely has a veil on her face, but she turns towards Prakram with a jerk, due to which he tells her.

"Before saying anything, remember that I have both Vishnu and Padma; I neither want to hear yes from you nor, about saying no, forget it. Tomorrow, a girl will arrive to assist you. If you're under the impression that you should flee or consider doing something similar, I must remind you that Vishnu and Padma are by my side. It's not a significant matter for me to take someone's life; this will occur tomorrow night, and you will fully comprehend the situation. This time, you won't need to watch in secret, as everything will unfold right before your eyes."

Prakram abruptly gets up and begins to leave, but upon hearing the wedding's name, Avishka becomes deeply engrossed in contemplation. She puts her hand around her neck and speaks suddenly, taking breaths with great difficulty.

"Marriage… NO… No… please…"

Prakram's steps stop hearing her trembling words. He looks back at her; her body is trembling more than before. He goes and stands in front of her and tells her.

"You probably didn't hear that I told you that I did not expect any kind of answer from you. Aashi has given you the place of her mother; she is only being given a form now."

He starts to turn when Avishka suddenly says:.

"I AM TAINTED. HE RUINED EVERYTHING."

She is saying everything in a very low voice, but Prakram hears these words very clearly. She is not sure about anything; she is regularly ranting in panic, but he turns and walks away from there immediately. Avishka wants to say a lot, but he is not ready to listen to anything. Prakram stands on the balcony for a long time and keeps smoking cigarettes. Avishka's words echo in his ears, and to a great extent, he now understands the yearning to keep her face covered like this, her trembling, her panic—everything bothers him, but he doesn't want to budge from his decision at all. He says.

"You love Aashi, and she loves you... Other things are useless for me."

PRESENT TIME

Prakram is seated in front of the fire. Nearby is Avishka, who still has a veil on her face.

"Put your hand forward, and the girl should do the same, forming an alliance with both hands."

"One minute…"

Prakram's voice echoes there. Avishka, sitting nearby, also gets scared hearing his loud voice, but the next moment the veil is removed from her face, and she looks at Parakram with scared eyes, and Parakram whispers to her.

"Now that you are going to become Prakram Bundela's wife, you should have no fear of any kind; if there should be any fear of anyone, then it is only me."

He moves his hand forward, and Avishka starts looking at everyone present there with scared eyes because everyone is looking at her. Prakram holds her hand and keeps it in his hands, while Aashi, seeing all this, begins to clap and jump excitedly.

Avishka's hand remains extremely hot, prompting Prakram to realize that she has not taken any of her prescribed medicines. Slowly, the marriage rituals start to take place. Prakram wears a wedding chain around her neck and vermillions in the middle of the hair partition. She is crying continuously. Aashi quickly asks Armaan

“Why is mommy crying so much?"

“Don't you see movies where girls cry after marriage?"

“But she cried in between marriages."

“She is sick, maybe because of this."

“Oh yes…”

Tears are flowing continuously from Avishka's eyes, due to which her vision has become completely blurred. She starts feeling very dizzy, and in the next moment, everything goes dark.
