36. Judd

CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

judd

“Happy birthday, Shortcake,” I whisper into Amelia’s ear as I slide my cock into her pussy from behind. Her body is warm and languid from sleep, perfectly forming to mine.

Her eyes flutter open, a sleepy smile appearing on her face. “Good morning.” She sighs, hooking an arm around my neck, anchoring herself to me as I start rocking into her. Tilting her face to mine, Amelia kisses me hard, biting down playfully on my lip.

Skimming my hand up her leg, and over her thigh, I apply firm pressure to her clit. I swallow the moans that escape her, quickly bringing her to the edge.

As much as I want to spend the day lying in bed making love to her. I have a full day planned for her, starting with breakfast at Hazel’s and a trip to the tattoo parlor. I’ve wanted to take her ever since she asked me about how much they hurt. Her birthday is the perfect excuse to take her to get one.

“Judd,” she moans as her pussy flutters.

“That’s it, Shortcake. Come all over my cock.”

Her hand slips from around my neck and she reaches forward, gripping the sheet. Placing a hand between her shoulder blades, I push her body forward, bending her slightly at the waist and changing the angle.

“Oh fuck, Judd. Right there,” she screams, burying her face into the pillow.

My hips piston into her faster, my own orgasm barreling forward. “Fuck, Amelia. Your pussy is gripping me so tight. Come for me, pretty girl.”

I circle her clit a couple more times before she explodes around me. The walls of her pussy squeezing me so tight, my orgasm follows. We both lay panting on the bed once the waves of pleasure subside. My body curled around hers.

“Happy birthday to me,” Amelia jokes once we’ve caught our breath.

“A very happy birthday to you.”

“Mmm, can we just lay in bed all day?” she asks, stretching her arms over her head, pushing her perfect tits in the air.

Not being able to resist, I suck her nipple into my mouth, reaching over and rolling the other one between my thumb and finger. She arches her back, thrusting her fingers into my hair. “Yes,” she hisses.

I sneak a peek at the clock on the bed-side table. We’ll have plenty of time to make it to our tattoo appointment if I text Hazel on the way and make our breakfast to go.

Deciding I’d rather give my girlfriend, hopefully soon to be fiancée, another orgasm instead of eating breakfast at the café, I continue worshiping her breasts, trailing my fingers down her abdomen and to her sensitive pussy.

I flick my thumb over her clit, earning a sharp gasp from Amelia. Her hips push into my hand as I continue down, inserting two fingers into her soaking cunt. I quickly move them in and out, slapping her clit with the palm of my hand as I move. Her grip tightens on my hair, and her legs fall open, completely exposing herself, giving her body over to me.

“You like that, don’t you, my little slut,” I murmur.

“Yes, yes, yes,” she chants as she thrashes her head back and forth.

“Come on, Amelia. I know you want to come.”

“I can’t,” she whines. Grabbing her tits and pinching the nipples.

I curl my fingers slightly, hitting her G-spot and continuing my assault on her pussy. “Yes, you can.” I whisper into her ear. Biting the spot on her neck she loves. “Come, Amelia,” I command.

Her pussy clamps down onto my fingers at the same time she sucks in a deep breath, her back arching so hard it’s completely off the bed. A sudden pressure pushes my fingers out of her and a rush of liquid follows.

“Holy shit, Amelia. Did you just squirt?”

Amelia’s thighs slam together, her body continuing to convulse from her orgasm.

Once her orgasm subsides, her body goes completely limp. “Holy shit,” she whispers, eyes closed.

“That was fucking hot,” I tell her, leaning over to give her a kiss.

“I’m dead. How in the hell did you do that?”

I shrug. “I have no idea. But I definitely want to do that again.”

She pats my bare chest and sighs. “There’s no way I can go again. You’ve ruined me.”

“I didn’t mean right now anyway. We have to get in the shower if we’re going to make it to your first surprise on time,” I tell her, getting up from the bed and coming to her side of the bed. Holding out my hand to help her up.

“I told you we didn’t need to do anything special today,” she grumbles, taking my hand and letting me pull her up to her shaky legs and lead her into the bathroom.

I snort and wrap her in my arms before we get in the shower. “Every day I get to spend with you is special. Today just happens to be extra special because it’s your birthday.” I kiss her again and cup her cheek. “Now please, let me spoil you.”

“Fine,” she sighs. “But I get to make a big deal for your birthday then.”

“Whatever you say, Shortcake.”

We pull up to the tattoo shop with just minutes to spare, breakfast in hand. I reserved the whole shop for the morning, so it would just be Amelia and me. Jade and Kris were more than understanding when I told them about Amelia’s anxiety with new places.

Amelia looks at the building, then back at me. “Why are we at a tattoo place?”

“You’re finally getting your tattoo today.”

Her mouth gapes open and she looks at the building, then back at me again. “Really?”

I nod. “Really. I also rented out the whole place for the morning, so it’ll just be us.”

Her hand flies to her mouth and moisture gathers in her eyes. “I can’t believe you did that for me.”

Cupping her cheek, I look into her eyes. “Shortcake, I’d do anything for you if it meant seeing that beautiful smile on your face every day.”

“I love you,” she whispers, covering my hand on her cheek with hers.

“I love you too, Mills.” I lean forward to give her a kiss when a cold, wet nose touches my cheek, followed by a tongue. I wipe my cheek and look at Bruno, who is panting and staring at us. “We love you too, Bruno,” I tell him, earning me another lick.

Getting out of the Jeep, I take Amelia’s hand in mine and walk through the door, the little bell overhead tinkling. Jade looks up from the front desk and smiles. “Welcome in.” She nods her head to the door. “Do you mind flipping the lock? I don’t want anyone to walk in while we’re in the chair.”

“Sure,” I respond, locking the door before moving the rest of the way to the desk.

“Hi, I’m Jade,” she says, holding her hand out to Amelia. “You must be Amelia.”

Amelia takes her outstretched hand, giving it a shake. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“Likewise,” Jade says, tipping her head towards me. “I’ve heard a lot about you. This is your first tattoo, right?”

Amelia nods. “Yes.”

“No worries. We’ll take good care of you. You’re with me today. Kris will take Judd, but we’ll sit you in chairs next to each other.”

Amelia looks at me with a surprised expression. “You’re getting one too?”

“Of course, Shortcake. Couldn’t let you have all the fun,” I tell her, giving her a wink.

“Do you have an example or drawing to show me of what you want, Amelia?” Jade asks.

“Oh, yes. Hang on.” Amelia digs her phone out of her purse. Unlocking the phone, she taps on her screen and scrolls until she finds what she’s looking for. “I was hoping to get this,” she says, setting the phone down on the counter. “But instead of the stem the way it is. I want it to be this.” Amelia digs a small, folded paper out of a pocket in her purse. She unfolds the paper and sets it down next to the phone. The word ‘Breathe’ is written on the paper in cursive writing. “Exactly in this writing. Is that possible?”

Jade picks up the phone and paper, looking at both. “That won’t be a problem. Where do you want it?”

Amelia pulls the left sleeve of her sweater up. “Here,” she says, tracing a path from her wrist down her arm.

Jade nods and smiles. “Let me go draw up a sketch and see if it’s what you want. I’ll be right back.”

She hands Amelia’s phone back then retreats to the back to sketch. I peer down at the phone screen, it’s a picture of a dandelion that’s gone to seed and some of the seed pods are floating away.

“Why a dandelion?”

Taking the paper off the counter, Amelia traces the word with her finger. “It’s for my mom. She’s the one who taught me to breathe through my anxiety. She told me to ‘picture blowing the seeds off the wisher’, that’s what we called them.”

Wrapping an arm around her shoulders, I pull her body into mine and place a kiss on the top of her head. “Is that her handwriting?”

She nods. “She gave this to me the day they dropped me off at college. She told me to carry it with me and if I found my anxiety to be too much to look at it and know that she was breathing with me.” Amelia swipes at her eyes and whispers, “I miss them so much.”

“I know, Mills,” I whisper into her hair, wrapping my other arm around her and hugging her tightly. “I wish I could take your pain away.”

She looks up at me, tears silently falling down her face. “You loving me for who I am, for all my flaws and struggles is more than I could ever ask for. Your unconditional love helps ease the ache.”

I place a kiss on her soft lips, then wipe her tears away with my thumbs. “I didn’t mean for this to make you cry. I wanted this to be a happy day.”

Amelia laughs, swiping at her face some more. “It is. You’ve already done more than enough. No more crying today, promise,” she says, crossing her finger over her heart.

I suspect there will be a lot more crying today, but I can’t tell her that without ruining the surprises.

“Now, we know what I’m planning to get, but what are you getting?” she asks and motions to my arm. “Are you adding to your sleeve?”

I shake my head. “No, I actually need your help with mine.”

She gives me a confused look, but before she can say anything. Kris pops out of the back. “Hey, Judd. How’s it going?”

“Great,” I tell him, giving his outstretched fist a bump. “Amelia, this is Kris. Kris, this is my girlfriend, Amelia.”

“Good to meet you,” Kris tells her, holding his hand up in a wave.

“Likewise.”

“Alright,” Kris says, clapping his hands together once. “Should we get down to it?”

I nod and look at Amelia. “I need a favor, Shortcake.”

“Um, okay?”

Kris lays an inkpad on the counter and a blank piece of paper. “Can you touch the ink pad with your thumb, then press it to the paper?” I ask.

“Why?”

“Because I can’t get my tattoo without it.”

Amelia stares at me, eyes widening a little. “You’re getting my thumb print tattooed onto your skin? Why?”

I smirk. “You’ll see once it’s done.”

Amelia lifts a brow at me but rolls her thumb in the ink and puts it to the paper.

“Perfect. I’ll go get it drawn up,” Kris says, passing Jade on his way to the back.

“Ok, Amelia. How does it look?” Jade asks, setting her sketch down in front of Amelia. “If you don’t like anything, let me know and we can tweak it.”

Amelia stares down at the paper, her fingers tracing over the sketch. “I love it,” she whispers, trying and failing to blink back another set of tears

“You’re positive?”

Amelia nods and swipes at her cheeks. “Yes, it’s perfect.”

“Great!” Jade says brightly. “Let’s get you in a chair, then. Judd, you can sit in the seat next to her while you wait for Kris to get done with yours.”

We follow Jade back, and she settles Amelia into her chair. I take the one to her right. She preps Amelia’s arm, then places the stencil onto her skin, checking the placement. Once Amelia gives her the ‘OK,’ she starts, telling Amelia to let her know if it’s too much so she can give her a break.

Ten minutes into Amelia’s tattoo, Kris comes out of the back and motions me over. “Be right back, Shortcake,” I tell her, getting up from the chair.

“How’s it look?” Kris asks, handing me his drawing.

“It’s perfect.”

“You like the size?”

I nod.

“Great, let’s do this,” Kris says, leading me back to his station. Taking my shirt off, Kris preps my chest.

“You’re getting it on your chest? Can I see the design?” Amelia asks.

“Not until it’s done.”

She sticks out her bottom lip in a pout.

“It’ll be worth the wait, Shortcake. Trust me.”

“Alright, you’re all finished,” Kris says, passing me a handheld mirror.

“Looks great man. Thanks again.”

Amelia sets her phone down and turns towards me. “Can I look now?” she asks, standing from her chair. She was done thirty minutes ago and has been messing around on her phone waiting for me to get done.

I lower the mirror as she steps up to my side and looks down at the tattoo. Her thumb print is enlarged and makes up one side of the tattoo. “ Ergo dum me diligis .” She reads the words that complete the other side of the heart. “What’s it mean?”

I lace my fingers between hers. “It says ‘So long as you love me’ in Latin. Because as long as you love me, Mills, we can get through anything.”

Her eyes flick to mine. “Judd,” she whispers. “It’s beautiful.” Her eyes mist over, and she blinks rapidly to hold back her tears, then smacks me lightly on the arm.

“Hey! What was that for?”

“You made me almost cry, and I said no more crying today.”

“It’s not my fault you’re emotional today,” I joke, earning another whack. “What was that one for?”

“For calling me emotional,” she says, giving me a smirk.

“Note to self, don’t call Amelia emotional, even when she is being emotional,” I mutter, pulling my shirt over my head once Kris has covered my tattoo.

“What was that?” Amelia asks, glancing back over her shoulder at me as we walk to the front.

I give her a cheesy grin. “Nothing, Shortcake. Just saying how much I love you.”

“Right,” she replies, not believing me one bit.

“All set?” Jade asks once we get to the front.

“Yep, thanks again, Jade. I really appreciate it.”

“Happy to do it. Plus, it’s been a while since I took someone’s tattoo virginity.”

Amelia chuckles. “Thank you for being gentle with me.”

Jade gives her a wink and waves at us as we leave the shop.

“Wait,” Amelia shouts after we get in the Jeep. “We forgot to pay.” She moves to unbuckle her seatbelt when I lay my hand over hers to stop her.

“I already paid,” I tell her.

“When?”

“When I booked the appointment,” I explain, starting the Jeep and pulling out of the parking lot to our next stop.

“But how did you know how much to pay? You didn’t even know what I was going to get.” She pauses and looks at me, narrowing her eyes. “You paid an obscene amount for us to have the shop to ourselves, didn’t you?”

Lifting a shoulder, I keep my eyes on the road. “Depends on what you think is an ‘obscene amount’.”

Amelia snorts. “That answers my question.”

Chancing a look at her, I take my eyes off the road and throw her a wink before focusing back on the road. Flicking my blinker on, I change lanes and take a right at the next intersection.

“So, what’s next on Judd’s birthday extravaganza list?”

Butterflies take flight in my stomach as we get closer to our next stop. Doubts race through me, wondering if it’s too soon, if she’s going to hate where I propose to her, will she even say yes?

Amelia’s hand lands on my forearm, jerking me out of my thoughts. “Judd? Did you hear me?”

“I’m sorry, Shortcake, I zoned out for a minute. What did you say?”

“I asked what was next on your list of birthday surprises.”

I grab her hand and bring it to my lips, kissing the back of her hand. “You’ll see shortly.”

My heartbeat increases the closer we get until I’m convinced it’s going to beat right out of my chest. I make the last turn and pull into the parking lot, instantly feeling Amelia’s body go still.

I put the Jeep in park and turn off the engine, filling the cab with silence.

“Why are we here, Judd?” Amelia asks, voice barely above a whisper.

Clearing my throat, I take a breath and let it out. “Because I want to tell your parents about the girl I’ve fallen in love with.”
