Liv's POV.

I ambled to the door, despite my poor health and I heard Callum shuffle behind me. He held my hand and glared at Frank.

"You are not going with Frank, Liv," he shot out firmly, his tone as fierce as a command.

Frank looked behind him and held the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Acting like an arse isnt going to make her change her mind. She wants to leave. It's for her fucking safety. How else do you want this put to you" he glared at Callum. Max came behind his brother to support, if force was needed.

"No," Callum shook his head defiantly.

Frank dragged my hand and I came to his side. My headache wasn't any better, but it was bearable. "Look, maybe I harmed her, for her good. But listen, we all know who the real monster is. If Liv says your mother did this, she is leaving with me," Frank snarled.

Max growled. "Shut the—"

"If you can't find a way to tame your mother, then, Liv isn't safe with you. Just look at yourself, I don't know where you have been, but you sure look like you had a hell of a time," Frank shook his hand in their direction.

I had just noticed it. They looked like they were coming from a mess. Callum's sleek hairdo stood spiky, while Max's clothes were shriveled as if he had been grappling with someone. Ryder's clothes were torn at the knees unless that was a new fashion trend. But it looked suspicious.

I didn't bother asking them. My safety was very important now.

"Frank's right," Ryder joined his brothers. His brothers looked at him as if he had grown a horn.

"What do you mean? Whose side are you on?" Max asked. He was displeased with his brother's words.

Ryder shook his head. "I know it sounds crazy. But Frank has a point," he pointed at him and looked at me. "As long as Liv is within the residence, or close to us, she would still be harmed. Let her go for the time being, although I don't like the idea too, but we have no choice here," Ryder frowned as he gave Frank a death glare. "Now if you try anything—"

Frank scoffed. "You know I'm better than that. At least, I'm not untamable like some of you," his eyes moved toward Callum, which made Callum twitch with contempt.

Ryder looked at me, pressing his lips together. "Liv, are you okay with this?" He asked me, his voice was filled with genuine worry for me.

My mouth trembled as I clenched my teeth. "Callum, you know he's right. I will be safer there, don't worry about," I squeaked.

Callum shook his head at me and then scowled at Frank before storming out of the room with the door open.

Max walked up to me and stared at Frank. He clenched his jaws and left without saying a word.

Ryder suddenly moved towards Frank. "And i meant it when i said you shouldn't hurt her"

Frank drew closer to him and i watched the corner of his lips tug up into a devilish grin. "I'd try not to"

That was the trigger Ryder was waiting for. In rage, he grabbed Frank by the collar. "What the fuck did you say!"

"She is not a fucking egg that would break at any fucking time" Frank retailiated.

I thought the great fight was happening when Ryder raised his hands to strike, but something stopped him the moment he looked at me and saw the fear that had me frozen at a spot.

He sucked in air through his gritted teeth, while glaring hard at Frank who was also aching for a fight.

"I'm serious. If you harm her, like you did a while ago, I'll rip you apart myself," Ryder pushed Frank against the wall and held him tight.

"Am I fucking clear?"

Frank scowled and pushed Ryder off.

"You know I mean it. Don't touch me like that again," he spat.

Ryder looked at me, like his brothers did, and left without saying a word to me. I could see the anger visible in his reddened eyes.

I turned to Frank and saw him dusting his shirt. He looked at me and smirked like nothing happened

"Now that was a heated session there," Frank puffed out air as he buttoned up.

He cupped my chin, twisting my face around, inspecting me closely

"I'll have to take my things. Can you come with me?" I asked Frank, knowing fully well that i couldn't go back to the mansion alone with everything that happened.

Frank furrowed his eyebrows. "I don't think you will need that. We are leaving now. At my pack, everything has been set already upon your arrival"

Although that statement seemed a bit odd, I didn't put any meaning to it

" I won't hear any of it," Frank walked past me and opened the window. He looked at it and sighed. "It's just that high, but it's a piece of cake, I can do it," he put one of his legs outside and I became alarmed.

"What are you doing?" I asked him as I rushed quickly to his side.

"We are leaving?" He motioned to me and smiled at the ground below.

"There is a door! And we will use it!" I didn't mean to yell, but never for once had I though of jumping down a building as tall as this.

Frank looked at me, erupting into laughter. I was still enveloped by astonishment that I didn't notice when he scooped me up and walked to the window.

"No! No! Don't jump with me, I'll use the stairs!" I protested and kicked. Of course I panicked. I was an Omega and he was a future Alpha. Jumping from such height was something I hadn't thought of doing before.

"Close your eyes and count to three"

"No Frank, no"

"Your eyes aren't close Liv"

"How the__"

He cupped my chin. "Do you trust me" he asked softly.

"Of course not"

He shook his head with a sigh. "It's fine, I don't trust myself sometimes"

He suddenly grabbed my hand, "Ready?"

My eyes flew open. "No__"

The next thing that left my lips was a scream.

Frank didn't wait a second as he jumped out of the window with me in his arms. Frank put his hand to my mouth to muffle my scream and then suddenly transformed into a werewolf before he touched the ground.

His powerful body absorbed the impact and he gently lowered me to the ground.

My hair covered my face, as I stood there. My legs still trembled from the thought of it.

He shifted back into his human form and swept me off my feet, over his shoulders like weighed nothing, rushing towards his car parked just by the premises.

"We need to leave before anyone sees us," he said with urgency noticeable in his voice.

He started the car and drove out as fast as he could. He avoided the guards, and they didn't dare question him since he was also the son of an Alpha.

Their kind couldn't be hidden. You could almost see the supremacy and dominance in their eyes. Also their powerful scent that screamed their identity.

After we were at a distance from the mansion, I turned to Frank with a lot of question in mind, but didn't know how to start

Frank stared back at me and as though he read me like a book, he demanded.

"Spill it,"

"How bad is the situation?" I asked.

"You know, back at the mansion?"

"As bad as you think. You called out the Luna of a pack. At worst, she would kill you if she had her way. It is a miracle you were even allowed to be taken to the hospital," he turned the steering as we dipped onto the highway.

I fell silent.

I was scared. That meant I would be chased around for the rest of my life.

I had more questions, but my devastation didn't permit me.

It was a long ride and I hadn't realized I had fallen asleep.

When I came to be, I was staring at high walls which made me sit up, looking around in awe.

"What's this place?" I asked still staring at the high walls, higher than I had ever seen at any other pack

Frank smiled at me. "We are home. My pack, Darksky pack," he said to me.

It was like a fortress city, but it was beautiful. The walls were painted white in some places, while some were gray with blocks. The mansion stood tall, adorned with intricate details and large arched windows that reflected the beautiful sunlight.

Frank led me to a room inside the mansion. Just like the high walls, there were high ceilings too. The walls were painted a calming shade of pastel blue, creating a serene atmosphere. I instantly felt welcomed. I didn't couldn't tell if it was the room or because I felt safe with Frank.

The room which was given to me by the triplet was even more luxurious than this, but never for once had I felt at home the way my spirit lined with this the moment I stepped foot there.

"Alright, make yourself feel at home, I'll be back to check on you later," Frank said softly, walking towards the door immediately.

"Wait" I called out and watched him turn at me.

"Is there a problem?" He asked me.

"Why are you doing this? You are going out of your way to help me, I want to know why," I demanded.

Frank breathed out sharply and then stared blankly at me for a while. He wanted to say something, it was obvious, but for some reason, he didn't

"Get some rest Liv, you need it" he ordered, turning to leave like I hadn't asked anything.
