Liv's Pov...
My eyes dilated around, I felt a huge lump stucked at the back of my throat and I gulped hard.
I braced myself up and with a slow and well guided step as I walked down the hallway.
From the side of my eye, I could see that everyone stopped what they were doing as they all stared hard at me.
I was sure they weren't staring because they were surprised to see me but because my omega scent irritated them.
I acted oblivious to their stares and I kept moving forward despite the fact my legs were shaking, the stares on me were too hard.
I just wanted to leave that place and breathe out deeply, I was holding my breathe without even realising it.
"It seems like you've become so beautiful overnight. Everyone is staring at you as though you are a goddess of beauty but that aside I'm so happy to be back home" Anne, my wolf squealed in excitement, almost as if she wanted to come out of me.
Her excitement made everything feel so blissful and enlightened.
I guess I just wanted a boost of courage in me and for some reason I didn't find myself feeling scared anymore but confident.
Despite all their eyes on me, there wasn't any way I could stop as murmurs filled the hall room.
I purposely blocked my ears so I wouldn't hear anything they said, afterall they were never words of praises but curses and insults which I disliked a lot.
Without having any choice, I walked all the way to my room.
I was about to twist the knob of the door open when something sinked into my head and I lifted my gaze up to see the platter which had the sign on it LIV'S ROOM keep off.
They were really unbelievable. I smiled at it, shaking my head and I walked inside my room.
I was left marvelled at the sight of my room. It looked like nothing had been touched neither has someone spent some days in it.
My room looked like it had always been kept tidy since I left and I was utterly mesmerized at their faith in me.
Unknowingly my mind drifted off to Frank once more. If he didn't decide to send me back, I probably would never have came back but wherever I was standing was my reality and I had to face it.
Probably the triplets knew I was going to come back and that's why they always kept the room tidy.
I dropped my box in a corner, I was just too tired to arrange my dresses. I plopped my body onto the bed, stretching my hands above my head.
The thought of Frank made tears trickle down my cheek but I didn't want to think about it too much.
I didn't want the thought of him to cross my mind ever again, it only made me sad.
I didn't realise when I fell asleep and what I heared was a loud noise penetrated deep inside my ears.
I slowly opened my eyes but I didn't hear any noise. Probably I was mistaken and it was all in my dream.
I turned my body sideways, prepared to go back to sleep and a loud knock on the door interrupted me.
I sighed in frustration. It hadn't been a full day since I came back to the dark moon pack and they aren't willing to let me get some good rest.
Reluctantly I halted up to my feet, moving towards the door and I opened the door.
"The alphas have sent for you" the guard informed.
The guard left me slightly surprised at the mention of the Alphas because they were now the most powerful beings in the pack.
"I'll be coming behind you" I said and the guard turned his back against me walking away.
I stared at his reflection till it was out of sight. Some minutes passed by and I began to hear some noises from outside.
The triplets didn't know about my arrival except from the members of the packhouse.
I didn't move an inch outside of my room. I wasn't ready to face them yet as I tried to convince myself and I exhaled deeply.
The decision of taking a stroll flickered through my mind and I made my way outside the mansion.
I sighted the triplets and seven other guys whom I couldn't identify properly, since they stood so far away that my gaze couldn't get hold of thrm.
It seemed as though they were playing basketball so I took it upon me not to disturb anyone.
I quietly stood by the corner, shielding myself away from the sun. I didn't want to make my presence known to them not untill they had finished playing base ball.
I also enjoyed watching them play amongst themselves and I unintentionally locked eyes with Callum.
He raised his hand up in the air and a whistle was blown to the hearing of everyone.
The whistle interrupted them and they all stopped playing with the thoughts of what went wrong.
They all swiveled their heads to the direction of Callum's gaze and their eyes got fixated on me.
I began to blame myself for not going back into the mansion to avoid being seen untill they were done playing baseball.
My purpose of standing to watch them play was just to take my mind off some stress.
I had to bear with the fact that whatever happened was for the best because sooner or later the triplets would have found out about my arrival and it would save me more stress.
I watched Callum jog towards me in an instant as Max and Ryder followed in his trails.
They all stared at me with a concerned gaze and I could feel the longing in their eyes.
I stared deeper and I could see three emotions in their eyes. They were surprised, thrilled and the last thing I didn't miss was the intense lust they had in their eyes for me.
A lot of thoughts pondered in my head and I began to wonder if I had missed something because they had never looked at me like that before.
"Liv are you okay?" Callum asked in a soft tone.
"I'm surprised at what I'm seeing. If anyone had told me you would be back here in the dark moon pack, I wouldn't have believed" Ryder voiced out in amazement.
"Why did you leave the dark sky pack? Liv I must commend how lovely you smell lovely alongside your beautiful face" Max complimented and I couldn't help but blush hard at his words.
If they all acted so caring towards me, it wouldn't take long for me to forget about all my sorrows but I just didn't know how to react to all their questions.
"What were you guys doing over there?" I asked, trying so hard to divert their attention from me and I hoped that it wasn't obvious.
"Didn't you know what we were doing? anyways it was just a stupid baseball game but we can stop if you don't like it" Ryder answered back, his face litted up with happiness.
"No you shouldn't do that. There's no need to stop your basketball game because of me and I'm also enjoying it so you guys should go ahead and play while I'll sit here and watch you all" I stated and they all scurried away.
I found a place to sit down due to standing for long, my legs were already hurting.
Admist their baseball, each of them would stop and look at me as though I were a fragile kid who would fall if they took their eyes off me.
I didn't mind a bit, I was enjoying the attention that was being bestowed on me.
I was seated down for long as the sun began to fade away, inviting a cloudy sky.
I was deep in thoughts when I jolted back into reality and gazed up to see a ball swinging towards my direction.
Before I could swiftly dodge away from it, the ball landed on my head and I let out a loud scream, wincing in outmost pain.
I had no idea a ball could hurt so much, especially a baseball and I placed a hand on my head trying to find ways to soothe the pain I felt.
When the triplets heared my little scream. They dropped everything they were holding onto, their stick and gloves as they ran towards me with a worrisome expression on their faces.
"There's nothing to worry about Liv. Once you let me heal you, the pain will vanish into thin air" Callum called out in a rush and without waiting for my response he placed his hand on my head, making me flinch back.
"What's wrong Liv? Callum wants to heal you please let him do so" Ryder insisted.
"Callum why are your hands so hot? It almost burned me" I asked in an exaggerated tone as they all casted numerous glances at each other.
"We are in the heat season. Don't you know that?" Callum divulged and my heart thundered in my chest because I knew what the other heat season looked like.
