Max's POV
"You need to start getting more people on your side" mother's words continuously kept ringing inside my head as I stared out the window at the view of the busy city.
I began to recall everything she said to me. She spoke about overpowering my brothers and taking over the pack.
When she suggested those ideas to me, I was against them at first because my brother's meant a whole lot to me but when it came to them I was less important.
Even for once they didn't think of me before making Liv theirs and the more closer Ryder and Callum became with Liv, I felt anger pulse through my veins and I wanted to take matters into my hands.
How dare they turn their backs on me when we've always done everything together since childhood? I had never been the type to sacrifice what I loved for someone's happiness and they knew that extremely well.
They knew how infuriated I would get if I didn't get what I solely desired. It was better in our childhood because I would only throw a tantrum and everything would become mine once again but now no one even paid heed to me.
I was kind enough to tell them to step back but they thought they could act sturborn and resilent towards me and now I was more than willing to teach them what it meant to go against me.
Everything I thought about was finally ready and I would be executing it without having any feeling of emotions. My heart would be as hard as a rock and my ears would be blocked not to hear the taunts and pleas of anyone.
The plan was set for the alliance party between the dark moon pack and the dark sky pack which was going to take place tonight and there was no turning back about it.
Callum and Ryder were going down and I didn't care if we are bonded by blood. Everything finally made sense to me, they were only doing all this to hurt me and get to me. They finally succeded in their actions.
They are aware of the terrible things I could do if I didn't get what I wanted. It could only cause destruction and the main cause of everything would be Liv.
I would fight the whole world for her because she was mine and no one else's. Liv belonged to me and it would have been better if they understood that.
I picked up the glass of wine from the table, raising it against my parted lips as I sipped a little. The door of my room opened.
It alerted me and I turned to see Brianna who walked in slowly. Her eyes gazed at me intensely and her lips twisted up in a bright smile displayed at the corner of her lips.
"I thought you said you didn't want anything to do with me" she voiced out.
"You might be useless to me but it turns out there is a good use for you anyway" I let out, my back turned against her.
"I'm aware a day wouldn't go by without taunting me but I'm used to it" she replied and I heared her footsteps approaching me. I spunned my body around and leaned my back on the wall, gazing into her eyes deeply.
"That's not what we are here for and what you feel clearly doesn't matter to me" I responded with a stern glare at her.
"Then if you would permit me Alpha, may I know what is important to you?" she replied teasingly, trailing her finger on my chest.
"The plan is set and do you remember everything we've previously talked about?" I questioned and a smile beamed on her face.
"Yes, I take care of Frank while you take care of your brothers, I vividly recall everything"
"Very good Brianna, I love working with smart people" I praised, trying to boost up her confidence because I needed her for this task and I didn't want anything to falter. I soon noticed the frown displayed on her face. I raised my eyebrows at her and she braced up herself.
"I wonder what kind of man would want to kill his brothers over nothing" she scoffed. "I know everything is happening because of that pesky and worthless omega girl"
Rage coursed through me as her words irritated me. It sparked up the outrage I felt within me. How dare she talk about Liv in such a condescending manner?
I grabbed her by the neck forcefully and she stiffened as I pushed her towards the wall and slammed her back on it.
"Know your place and never you call Liv that again!" I roared in spite, but knowing Brianna, I knew she wasn't scared of me. She only saw this position as exciting. I could tell from the smirk played across her face.
