Chapter 22
Ronan
“ H ey, boss.” The front-of-house host knocked on my office door as he opened it. The restaurant staff rarely came up to our offices, and I cocked my head to the side. “Sorry to interrupt,” Sal said, realizing too late that he should’ve waited after he knocked before he just walked in.
“What do you need?” I asked, dropping my pen onto my desk. Sal reared back slightly at my frustration, clearing his throat.
He stammered, taking another step into the office. “S-sorry. There’s a girl here to see you?”
“Who?” I glared at him until the door opened more, revealing Nellie standing slightly behind him. She looked taken aback, but as soon as her eyes met mine, my disappointment in the interruption faded. “What are you doing here?” My voice was sharper than intended, and Nellie winced.
“I…” she started to say, but she stopped, looking behind her toward the front of the restaurant.
“You may go, Sal,” I said, turning my attention back to Nellie. “Come here.” Sal disappeared down the hallway toward the stairs to the restaurant, and she watched him walk away.
“I can go too if you want.” Her voice was quiet, and she looked frozen in place. When she sucked her bottom lip into her mouth and bit down, I wanted it to be in my mouth. I wanted to swallow the whimper I knew would escape.
“I said,” I lifted my fingers in a come-hither motion, “come here.” I emphasized the two words.
Nellie stepped into the room, jumping when the office door closed behind her. With every step she took toward me, I came closer to smelling the sweet vanilla scent that floated off her. “You didn’t answer me,” I said when she was close enough for me to grab her wrist. I tugged her into my lap, earning a quiet gasp that caused my cock to stir.
“I wanted to see you.” I could feel her shaking in my lap. “Are you still mad?”
I grabbed her chin between my thumb and finger, turning her head to the side so her gaze would meet mine. “Mad?” When she gulped, I felt her throat move against my hand. “Not at all. I’m glad you’re here.”
“You seemed so mad.” Her voice was less timid, but her breathing picked up.
I moved my fingers from her chin, closing my hand lightly around her neck and guiding her backward until her back was flush against my chest. She tilted her head back, resting it against my shoulder. Positioning my lips over her ear, I inhaled, reveling in her scent.
“How can I be angry when a woman like you walks into my office wearing a little skirt like this, hmm?” Nellie pressed her thighs together, and her muscles flexed against my lap beneath the fabric of the dress that barely reached her knees. I smirked. “Even if she won’t tell me the reason she’s here.”
I ran my hand down the center of her body, resting on her thigh, and Nellie’s stare followed it the entire way. She adjusted in my lap so she could face me. “What do you do? Like for a living.” Her eyes bounced around the room, looking from the bookshelf to the window to the meaningless artwork that decorated the walls, as it would give her the answer to her question.
“I own a chain of pizza restaurants,” I said with a chuckle. “Like the one you’re sitting in right now. I thought you knew that.”
Nellie scrunched her nose like she was stuck in thought—or like she didn’t quite believe me. There was no way she knew about the family business, and even less chance that I was going to tell her about it. She stayed like that for a moment. “Is that all you do?”
“Why are you asking?” I asked, using my hold on her thigh to guide it to the side. I repeated the action with the other leg, satisfied when she left them spread apart. When I started to lift her skirt, she sucked in a sharp, deep breath, but she didn’t stop me.
“I’m just curious,” Nellie whispered.
When I ran my fingers up the inside of her thigh, dragging the material of her skirt with it, goosebumps rose on her skin. I wanted to trace them with my tongue. “There are better things to be than curious,” I said against her ear, drawing my teeth over her earlobe.
“Like what?” She looked up from where my hand had disappeared beneath her skirt, and when she found my stare, her eyes had intensified.
I slipped my finger beneath the soft lace panties she wore, brushing over her bare mound. “Let me show you.” Nellie held her breath while I parted her lips, sliding my finger between them.
She nodded, dropping her legs further apart. Her curiosity pooled like her arousal between her legs, and when I circled my middle finger around her already-hard clit, her body jolted. She was willing, eager, even. When Nellie whimpered, rolling her hips forward, I pushed a single finger inside her.
Her satisfied whine encouraged me, and I curled my finger against her G-spot, pressing into it with a slow, pulsing rhythm. “Oh, sugar, were you this wet when you walked in here?”
“Yes,” she whimpered, thrusting her hips against my hand. “I couldn’t help it. I can’t stop thinking about you.”
Nellie’s heavy breaths and the wet sound of her pussy squeezing my fingers filled my office, accompanied by little whimpers. It was a sound I could get addicted to—one I maybe already was. I needed to hear more of it, but when she cried out louder, I imagined someone outside my office hearing her. I didn’t want to share that sound.
“I can’t stop thinking about you either. You’re something, you know that?” I said quietly against her ear. She quivered, and her nipples hardened into tight little peaks that I could see through the layered fabric of her shirt and bra. “Absolutely fucking addicting.”
Nellie arched her back, pushing her chest out. I pinched her nipple as I added a second finger, earning a more desperate cry—a mix of pain and pleasure, maybe surprise. I smirked. “Oh, I think you liked that,” I groaned. I pinched her again, and when she shrieked, her pussy clenched tighter around my fingers. She did.
I wanted to rip her shirt off her and bite her heaving breasts, but I could feel her getting closer. Her muscles tightened and her legs shook. Waves of pleasure and eagerness rocked through her curved body, and I could feel every shiver against me like a request for more. When she started writhing in my lap, I wanted to give her everything she could possibly need.
“Oh shit,” she cried when I planted my palm against her clit, driving my fingers against the soft, spongy spot that drove her crazy. “Ronan.”
I moved my hand from her chest to the soft nape of her neck, wrapping my fingers lightly around her throat. “Are you telling me who you want to belong to?” I asked her, and her eyes widened. She didn’t say no, and the way her pussy rippled felt like a yes. “It’s okay, sugar. Your sweet cunt is already saying all of that for you. You’re loving this.”
I squeezed the sides of her neck, reveling in the feeling of her pulse quickening. I held her to me with just that grip on her neck and my fingers between her legs. She bucked her hips, and the start of her release ran down the back of my hand.
“Just like that.” I encouraged her, picking up my pace while her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Her forehead shined with a light sheen of sweat and ecstasy. “Fall apart for me.” I tightened my hold on her throat when her pussy clamped tighter. “Now.”
Her moan was choked by my hold and her impending orgasm, and when she snapped, a deep blush tinted her cheeks. Nellie’s mouth dropped open in a perfectly round “O” surrounded by her rosy, wet lips. The lips I was suddenly desperate to taste again.
“Ronan,” Nellie choked when she came. She pushed her body back against mine like she was trying to become part of it, like she couldn’t get close enough to me.
I continued to massage her walls gently while waves of her release washed over us both until she collapsed against me. Her release soaked her thighs, running in shimmering drops down her milky skin. I collected one of the drops with my wet fingers before bringing them to my lips. I sucked them into my mouth, licking every tangy drop of her arousal from my skin. The taste of her lingered on my tongue, and I knew it would be there for days. Or longer. I still hadn’t gotten rid of the taste of her from last time.
Nellie tried to catch her breath, her body limp against me. “I love the way you taste,” I said, hooking my finger under her chin and turning her head to face me. “You should taste it.” I kissed her, and when I ran my tongue along her lips and she parted them, she hummed.
Her kiss was hungry, and it got hungrier when she lifted her arm behind her to wrap it around my neck and pull me closer. She kissed me like it was her air, like she needed me as badly as I was craving her. It was a craving I couldn’t seem to satisfy—one I didn’t want to get enough of, especially when she felt like that in my arms.
“Let me take you out tonight,” I said against her lips. Nellie gasped, pulling her head back.
She looked at me confused, almost like she was trying to comprehend what I was asking. “Out?”
“Yes,” I laughed, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. “Like to dinner and a movie.”
Nellie sat up, adjusting in my lap so she was facing me. I missed the feeling of her racing heartbeat against my chest as soon as she moved, and I almost pulled her back to me. “That sounds like a date,” she giggled, as if she was waiting for the punchline.
“We can call it that.” I traced the line of her jaw with my finger before following the invisible vein in her neck to her pulse. She tensed. “Or we can just call it dinner and a movie. Just say yes.”
“Okay,” she whispered, settling back against me like her nerves had dissipated. Then, she sighed comfortably, and my stomach twisted in knots. “But it’s not a date.”
