CHAPTER 3 KIERAN #3
The door opened, and Kieran looked up to see a hot as fuck guy in a suit.
He had an aura about him that commanded immediate respect.
Kieran was covering walk-ins for the next two hours, which is what he hoped this guy was looking for.
Could the gods be on his side today? He gave off an alpha vibe, and Kieran knew the best way to get over what happened on Saturday night was to cancel it out with someone new.
Fucking clients wasn’t something he did, but he would make an exception here.
A big plus was that he looked nothing like Derek, or the guy from the weekend.
Kieran made eye contact with the guy, who smiled, and his dick twitched when he imagined what this guy would do to him.
Part of his brain was telling him to stop and process what had happened on Saturday, but he was a horny gay and made no apologies for liking older men with big dicks.
Kieran had seen nothing yet, but this guy oozed big-dick energy.
“Good morning, sir. Do you have an appointment?”
Please say no, thought Kieran.
“Well, hello. You must be Kieran.”
He spoke with a Scouse accent, which wouldn’t normally make his dick harden, but this guy could say anything. He could imagine being on his knees and this guy spitting in his face and calling him a slut.
“How do you know my name?”
“I’m Grant. Pleased to meet you, Kieran,” he said, holding out his hand.
Kieran shook it, which made his whole body shudder. Based on the smile on Grant’s face, he’d noticed. He still hadn’t answered Kieran’s question, but his dick had taken over his brain and didn’t care how the man knew him.
“I’m here to see Jez.”
Damn! “I’ll get him.”
“There’s no rush. I’m more than happy to talk to you. You’ve been here a year now, haven’t you, Kieran?”
Kieran nodded. There was something about the way this guy said his name, that made his dick throb and his hole twitch.
“Jez keeping you all to himself, is he?”
Kieran couldn’t help but pull a face at the thought of anything happening with his boss. The guy was good-looking, but definitely not for Kieran.
Grant chuckled. “Do you prefer not to mix business with pleasure, Kieran? I find that limits opportunities to sample the rare pleasures we have in life.”
Was he flirting with Kieran? It seemed like it, but he had to be imagining it.
The guy looked to be in his mid-thirties, but could be older, based on the way he held himself.
It was a stance that only came from life experience.
Given he was a client of Jez’s, it would not be a good idea to go there with this guy.
Kieran wasn’t sure how to respond and absently pushed the sleeves of his top up.
“What the fuck happened to you?” asked Grant. His tone was stern.
“What?” asked Kieran, looking down and realising what he’d done. He pushed his sleeves back down. “Oh, nothing.”
“Show me.”
The way he said those two words left no room for argument. Kieran rolled up his sleeves and held his arms up for Grant. What the fuck was happening? The way Grant held his arm was gentler than he had expected. It was as if he was afraid to hurt Kieran, but the bruising looked worse than it felt.
“Was this consensual, Kieran?”
What. The. Fuck! How did he know? Kieran nodded, because that was the truth. He had given his consent at the start of the scene and then not withdrawn it.
“You can be honest with me, Kieran.”
“Not to sound rude, but I don’t even know you.”
Grant chuckled. “I do like my boys feisty.”
“Erm . . .” Kieran did not know how to respond to that.
“Do you want to give me the guy’s name who did this? I can make sure he doesn’t do it again.”
Why did that sound absolutely terrifying and hot at the same time? He also wasn’t sure what it was, but this wasn’t some random guy peacocking. Grant was serious about what he was offering, and that made Kieran’s stomach clench. Who the fuck was this guy?
“Grant, I wasn’t expecting you until lunchtime,” said Jez, appearing from the back of the shop.
“No problem at all, Jez. Kieran was keeping me company.”
Jez looked at Kieran, who still had Grant holding his arms. He felt his face heat, so he pulled away gently and pushed his sleeves back down.
“Do you want to come through to the office?” he said to Grant. “I’ll be there in a minute.”
“I look forward to continuing our conversation, Kieran,” said Grant, with a smile, before walking into the back.
“What the fuck was that all about?” hissed Jez, his voice low.
“I offered to come and get you, but he said he wanted to talk to me.”
“What about? Why was he looking at bruises on your arms?”
“He just asked me how I got them.”
“What did you tell him?”
What was this, twenty questions? Jez had a look of concern on his face. He wasn’t his usual grumpy self, but something else. Was it fear? What was he afraid of?
“Word of advice, Kieran. I would stay away from a man like Grant Kincaid.”
Before he could ask any more follow-up questions, he walked away after Grant. Why was that name familiar? He couldn’t place it. Getting out his phone, he googled, and it didn’t take long for him to know why he knew the name.
Fuck!
If the weekend hadn’t been fucked up enough with his stepdad being back on the scene and Domtop69 taking things too far, now he’d attracted the flirtatious attention of a mob boss.
