Chapter 38
Lila
For the next week of class, a tight ball of anxiety formed in the pit of my stomach.
I was keenly aware that my extra-curricular activities with my students was now affecting my job.
Every decision I made, every exam I graded, every word I said during class now held an extra layer of complexity.
I had to use all of my focus to ensure I was treating everyone equally.
But that anxiety faded away when Cam came over to my house on Friday night. The two of us got sloppy drunk on a bottle of pre-mixed margaritas, and ended up having sex four times. Say what you will about twenty-one year olds, they had an insane libido.
Jace came over Saturday night by himself, because Brock had to work. Which meant I had the bartender all to myself on Sunday afternoon.
We settled into a nice groove after that. My “weekends only” rule was quickly discarded when Cam invited himself over on Wednesday night, insisting that he couldn’t stop thinking about me thanks to the summer dress I’d worn to class that day.
Ditching that rule made sense; with three men to juggle, it was tough to squeeze them all into the weekend.
We invited Cam to come join the rest of us in our group activities, but he politely declined each time.
He said he preferred me all to himself, but I suspected he was intimidated by Jace and Brock.
And honestly, I understood. Most men didn’t play nice together in bed; I just happened to have gotten lucky with Jace and Brock.
Besides, the threesomes we were having were already as fulfilling as could be. Emphasis on filling. We didn’t always do butt stuff, but when we did? When one of them fucked my pussy and the other buried himself in my ass? It made me wonder if I could ever go back to regular sex again.
I went home for spring break to see my parents.
I wasn’t particularly close to them, and that was reinforced on the first day of my visit.
After the usual questions—if I was seeing anyone, and if work was good—we ran out of things to talk about.
It wasn’t that they weren’t proud of me.
They just didn’t understand academia enough to ask questions about my job.
And when I did tell them stories about this semester, their eyes glazed over and they just nodded along.
I found myself wishing that I wasn’t an only child.
It would have been nice to have a sister I could confide in about the insane life I was currently living, a professor actively sleeping with three of her students.
I still kept in touch with a handful of my college friends, but I wasn’t close enough with any of them to tell about this.
Without anyone else to talk to, I ended up texting the guys a lot during spring break. We had a group thread, which now included Cam, although he seemed shy about texting the rest of us.
Me: My parents and I ran out of things to talk about on the first day. How are your vacations going?
Jace: Mine’s not very vacationy. My dad’s place is falling apart around him, so I’ve spent the whole time as a handyman.
Today I’m plugging leaks in his roof. Tomorrow I’m replacing his front door, because the frame has rotted and the deadbolt won’t line up.
He hasn’t locked his house since Thanksgiving!
Cam: Dude. Wtf.
Jace: That was my exact reaction.
Brock: My break is great. I’m visiting my sister Kerry, and she hasn’t asked me to do any handyman chores. We’ve spent the whole week watching Lord of the Rings.
Me: It’d better be the extended editions.
Cam: The extended versions, I hope?
Cam: Jinx!
Me: Jinx!
Me: Damnit.
Jace: Stop being cute you two. It’s distracting me from plugging this leaky roof.
Me: Stop texting! I don’t want you to fall off the roof!
Jace: I’m in the attic, plugging the leaks from underneath.
Me: Still. Be careful.
Brock: Let me know if you need any help. My sister lives half an hour from your dad’s place, and I’m kind of an expert on roof construction.
Jace: Will do. The advice you gave me on drywall yesterday came in handy.
Me: How do you know how far away his dad’s place is?
Jace: We started sharing our location on Find My Friends.
Me: Really? You all trust each other that much?
Cam: It’s nice to see when they’re at the cafeteria. Or at the library. Passive communication.
Brock: Besides, we share far more intimate things than just our location.
Jace: He’s talking about your pussy.
Me: LOL.
Brock: That’s not true! I was talking about her other two holes, too.
Jace: Ah, my mistake.
Cam: Wait, other two holes?
Brock: You’d better believe it, kid.
Me: [Devil emoji]
Me: I was going to see if you’re interested in that the next time we’re together.
Cam: YES. I am very interested.
Jace: Your whole world is about to change, Cam.
Cam: :-D
Me: Aside from this new revelation, how’s your spring break going?
Cam: It’s great. I’m like the only guy in my dorm who didn’t go home for break. It’s nice and quiet here.
Me: Really? You’re happy being all alone?
Cam: Hell yeah. I was able to climb into the dorm ceiling and rewire all the network cable to high-speed Cat-6 cable. The Wi-Fi speeds are twice as fast now.
Jace: You big nerd. And I mean that in the best possible way.
Brock: Something tells me you didn’t rewire the dorm network out of the goodness of your heart. Did you attach any spyware to the network?
Cam: I can neither confirm nor deny any of those allegations.
Cam: (But no, don’t worry, I haven’t done anything morally wrong)
Me: I’m not sure I want to know the details of that, so I’m going to pretend I didn’t see that message.
Cam: Sorry, professor.
Jace: Careful, you’ll turn her on. She likes being called that in bed.
Cam: Oh I know!
Brock: Don’t we all?
I smiled at the text thread. It was the first time Cam had really come out of his shell with the other two.
Maybe he would be willing to join the rest of us in bed eventually. As much as I enjoyed being with him privately, I couldn’t shake the fantasy of having all three of them sharing me at the same time.
But for now, I wasn’t going to push it.
Besides, it would give me something to look forward to.
