Chapter 17

Delaney

Cole’s class had just gotten out and I wanted to see him before heading home. I opened his office door, and he was sitting at his desk. He looked up and smiled at me and it gave me butterflies. “Hey beautiful. I wasn’t expecting you to stop by.”

Smiling, I said, “I know but I wanted to see you before I went to pick up Amaryllis. You aren’t coming over tonight, right?”

He shook his head and waved for me to come over to him. “No, I’m meeting the guys at Leonardo’s for dinner. Time with them usually goes late so I’ll just go home and crash. You going to miss me?”

“I am. I always miss you.”

He pulled me to him, “Show me how much.” He kissed the side of neck. I was feeling bold, so I kneeled down in front of him, unzipping his pants and reaching my hand inside. Half of my body was under his desk while my upper half was in his lap. I kissed the tip of his dick where precum was already forming, rubbing it on my lips. He inhaled with a hiss and then said, “Wrap that beautiful mouth around my cock, Laney girl.” Not one to want to disappoint, I did just that.

I flattened my tongue on the underside of his cock before wrapping my mouth around him and taking him all the way until he hit the back of my throat. “That’s right, baby.” I moved at a vigorous pace sucking him, my head bobbing up and down as my hand twisted around him, jacking him as I sucked. Cole grabbed the back of my neck as his moans only spurred me on. “Fuck, Delaney. I’m gonna blow down the back of your throat.”

Just then we heard the jiggle of his office door handle, making me pull back and him tucking himself back into his pants faster than I’ve ever seen him move. He moved his chair forward, so his desk covered him, and I moved further under the desk to hide. I couldn’t believe we had almost gotten caught.

“Professor Campbell, I just needed to turn my test in. I didn’t get to the other day because I was out. Thanks for the extension.”

Cole cleared his throat, rested his elbows on his desk and said, “No problem, Ms. Lewis. Thank you for bringing it by. Please shut the door behind you.”

When we heard the door close, he reached under the desk to help me out. “Come here, quick. I thought you locked the door.”

“Well, shit. I didn’t plan on sucking your cock when I came in here to see you before going home. Jerk.”

He grabbed me and hugged me. I tried to squirm away, but he just tightened his hold. “I’m sorry. That’s not…I’m not blaming you. Shit, that was a close call.”

“Yeah, which is exactly why we shouldn’t do this shit here, Cole. What if…”

“I know. Stop. It’s ok. We didn’t get caught. I must say Dr. Anderson. That was one of the best blow jobs you’ve given me. Not sure how I’m supposed to get through dinner with the guys with the vision of you on your knees sucking me off in my office.”

I laughed and patted his chest. “Good luck. Make sure you have some tissue at home. Night!” I said it as I walked away and looked back to see his head fall back and groan as he looked at the ceiling.

Since Cole wasn’t coming over, I invited Amber to dinner. The front doorbell rang, and I heard Amaryllis yell, “I’ll get it mama.”

“No, you most certainly will not.” I rushed down the hall and gave Amaryllis a look that could kill. “You never answer the door, do you understand? Only adults can answer the door. Never, Amaryllis. Tell me you understand me.”

She looked up at me and I could see tears forming in her eyes. Yelling at her was the last thing I wanted to do but what if Miller showed up and she answered? I just couldn’t risk her not understanding the seriousness of this without blatantly coming out and telling her. “Yes, mama. I understand. I’m sorry.”

I crouched down and hugged her. “It’s ok, baby. I just want you to be safe. Come on. I bet it’s Auntie Amber.” Her smile returned as we went for the door.

Amber smiled at me and said, “There’s my girl,” and moving past me to Amaryllis.

“What am I, chop liver?” I shrugged.

“Gross, mama.” Amaryllis hugged Amber.

“Alright, who’s hungry? Let’s head to the kitchen.”

We ate and then Amaryllis went to the living room to watch tv. Amber and I sat there and continued to talk.

She jumped right in with, “So, tell me what’s going on with Cole. Have you pulled your head out of your ass since our last conversation?”

I laughed. “Wow, rude. As a matter of fact, I have.” I whispered the next part. “My head almost got caught in Cole’s lap in his office today.”

Her mouth formed an O before shouting, “Shut up! You slut!” Then her hand went over her mouth. She mouthed sorry to me and eyeballed the doorway to see if Amaryllis heard her.

We heard a giggle and then Amaryllis yelled, “You owe me $5.00. I think that’s a swear.”

I laughed and said, “You owe her $5.00. That girl is smart.”

“Wow this is bullshit. She’s lucky I like her.”

“Now you owe me $10.00. That’s for sure a swear.” Amaryllis yelled again.

“Ok, ok. I’m sorry. Ffffffudge….”

We laughed as she reached in her wallet and pulled out a crisp $10 bill and slapped it on the table. “She’s good. Don’t sleep on my girl.”

“Clearly. Now back to the lap thing. You are something else.”

I shrugged. “We almost got caught. I didn’t lock the door because I was only popping in there to say bye to him since I wasn’t going to see him tonight. One hug led to a kiss which led to me on my knees and giving him what he called the best blowjob.”

“Oh.my.gawd… who are you and what have you done with my stick up her ass friend.”

“15 dollars!” Amaryllis yelled.

“Oh, I’m done. What does she have, supersonic hearing? I didn’t even say it that loud.” Amber looked shocked.

“She’s ear hustling now. She’s gonna get every dollar out of you.” I laughed.

“Remind me to buy her some earmuffs for Easter, her birthday, Christmas, all of the holidays.” She laughed. “Honestly though, I’m impressed. I’m glad you two are back together.”

I smiled and said, “That’s not all.” I took a sip of my coffee. “We said I love you.”

Her hands went to her face, and she crumpled on the table. “Stop it. Stop it right now, this is amazing.”

“It’s been pretty amazing. We had dinner with my parents the other night. He picked up Amaryllis from school because she called him when she couldn’t reach me. We’ve had a few Miller b.s. things but Cole has stepped in and just made sure everything was ok. He’s perfect, literally perfect. I’m not running away from him anymore. I can’t. We love him.” I shrugged at her smiled.

“I’m elated! Truly. You said we love him. You and A. It’s perfection and you both deserve it so much.” Amber reached across the table and grabbed my hand. “You deserve this. You deserve for someone to want you and love you.”

We smiled and continued talking for a few hours before she finally took off. It had felt good to admit everything about Cole and how absolutely perfect it all was. I was grateful for him, and I wanted him around all the time. Amaryllis felt the same. He was the missing piece, and everything feels whole when he’s around.
