Chapter 35

Chapter Thirty-Five

Gia

“ I have to ask you again,” Joshua says when we’re finally naked in bed and about to fuck for the first time in six weeks. “Are you sure you’re ready?”

“Yes.” I crawl over his body, positioning my bare pussy over his cock. I only finished blowing him in the hall ten minutes ago, but he’s rock hard and raring to go again. I love my man’s stamina. He can go all night, and he never gets tired. “I need this to heal, Joshua. I need your touch to replace the lingering remnants of his. I need you to reclaim my body and push him permanently away. I need this to feel like me again. To feel like a woman.”

“You’re all woman to me, Gia, and I always desire you.” His hands glide carefully up my body to play with my tits. “That won’t ever change.”

“Good.” I grin. “I’m going to fuck you now.”

He shoots me a dark look loaded with promise, and delicious tremors skate over my skin. “I’m at your mercy, honey. Do whatever you want. Take what you need.”

Lying on my stomach, I kiss my way down his body, sucking his balls into my mouth and trailing my lips up and down his velvety-soft cock. Joshua shaves, and I love a well-groomed man; it makes oral sex so much easier without hairs sticking to my tongue or the inside of my mouth.

Precum leaks from the tip as I climb over him again, positioning myself on top of his dick. Using my hand, I guide his length into me. Our eyes remain locked as I slowly sink onto him, one glorious inch at a time. When I’m fully seated, I hold still, staring at my love as I relish the feel of him jerking inside me.

“Shit, condom.” Joshua reaches for the drawer of his nightstand.

“I’m good to go without if you are. You know I have an IUD, and I’m clean.”

“I’m clean too.”

I snort out a laugh, and he lifts a brow. “You made your fuck buddies sign contracts and get tested monthly. You think I didn’t know you tested yourself too?” I brush my lips against his. “You would never risk my health. I know you, Joshua Gino Accardi. I know what makes you tick.”

“Are you planning on riding me tonight or next week?”

I tweak his nipple. “Where’s that legendary patience of yours disappeared to?”

“Six weeks of jerking off has drained my patience reservoir. I’m desperate for you, honey. I need this as much as you do.”

I lift my hips, dragging my pussy up along his hard shaft before slamming back down. Then I rotate my hips and grind on his cock, moving in sync with him as he thrusts up inside me. We both moan as I ride him, holding on to his hips to steady myself as we rock against one another. Joshua’s hands caress my body. Fondling my tits. Tweaking my taut nipples. Dipping over the curve of my hip and my ass. Toying with my clit.

When the twinge in my ribs gets too much, we switch positions, and I slide under his powerful body as he drives back inside me in one confident thrust. “Any pain?” he asks, lifting my right leg and wrapping it around his waist.

“I’m good.”

He hovers over me, kissing me deeply as he makes love to me with tender care. My orgasm is building, climbing higher and higher, and he reads my body, picking up his pace, and pumping inside me as we both chase that high. My walls clench around him, and he rubs my clit with his fingers as he rams inside me with renewed urgency. “Fuck, fuck, Gia,” he hisses, his eyes briefly closing as he shoves inside me so deep it feels like he’s touching my womb.

“I’m going to come,” I scream, digging my fingers into his shoulders as I buck up with the building tension.

“Come for me, honey. Right now, Gia.” He pinches my clit, and I detonate, screaming and writhing as the most indescribably blissful orgasm rips through me, filling every inch of my body with wondrous joy.

Joshua is grunting and repeating my name as he comes, and I mentally imprint his O-face for eternity.

After, Joshua kisses me quickly before pulling out and running to the bathroom. He returns with a warm cloth and cleans me up before crawling back under the silk sheets and reeling me into his arms.

We lie there in heavenly contentment with my face pressed to his chest and his heartbeat thrumming steadily against my ear.

“I want this with you forever, Gia.” He runs his fingers through my hair. “I didn’t like hearing the doctor call you Ms. Bianchi earlier. I want you to be my wife someday.”

I lift my head, piercing him with eyes swimming in emotion. “I want that too.”

“Good.” His tender kiss is toe-curling. “You can expect a proposal soon. Once we get through the next few months.”

I prop up on one elbow and sweep my fingers over his cheeks. “You don’t need to prewarn me, babe. I will say yes. Nothing will change my mind. I have never felt this way about anyone. It’s just you, Joshua. It will always just be you.”

He holds my face in his hands like I’m treasure. “I told you before I’d been in love previously, but I was wrong. I never felt this with her, Gia. What I had with Bettina was some form of puppy love, but it wasn’t real or true, and it wouldn’t have lasted. I know that now. I have never loved anyone the way I love you. You’re it for me too.” He reaches up to kiss me. “You’re my forever.”

“I love you so much. More than I can describe.” I kiss his gorgeous lips before laying my head back down on his chest.

His arm tightens around my back. “I want to bottle this happiness and never lose it.”

I trace his chiseled chest with one finger. “I wish we could stay here in our little bubble and never leave. All I need is you, and I’m content.”

It’s the truth, but we both know we can’t ignore reality for much longer.

“Are you sure you want a place on my team?” Caleb asks as we work side by side on our laptops in Joshua’s home office. My love is attending an important meeting at the Accardi Company today, so his twin is keeping me company.

“Yes. It’s where my strengths lie.”

It’s been two months since the kidnapping, and I’m fully healed and back working out at the gym and training with my team at Commission Central. Every soldato and capo in the city is undergoing refresher training ahead of the impending battle. The four new dons have brought one thousand men to the city in the past few weeks, and all are living in apartment buildings owned by Caltimore Holdings that solely house mafioso .

I had to postpone my skin graft and breast reduction surgeries because they would have forced me to sit out the upcoming battle, and there’s no way in hell I’m missing that.

Everyone is gearing up for the clash with our enemies. The plan is highly confidential, and I’m not even privy to every part. The Commission has purposely kept it that way so nothing leaks they don’t want leaked. They have made it known they are going after the Barone for the attacks on the twins and Rowan Mazzone, and they have released the date, time, and location in Jersey to draw all our enemies to the battle. It’s a gamble because they may sense a trap and not show up if they aren’t ready to invoke their plan, or they could turn up with more men and firepower than us, and we will lose a lot of good men.

No one knows who this Italian boss is or how many men he has on his side.

It’s risky, but we’re taking the fight to the enemy when it suits us. It’s better than waiting for them to strike and being caught off guard.

“I thought you’d want to be by Joshua’s side. You two are practically joined at the hip these days.”

“Aw, jealous?” I lift my head from my laptop and swivel in my chair so I’m facing him. “Afraid I’ll take him from you?”

He rolls his eyes. “Nothing will ever come between my twin and I. You’d do well to remember that.”

“I wouldn’t want to get in the way of your twin bond. He loves you, and he loves me. There is room for both of us. And being on your team is best for Joshua. If I’m with him, he’ll be distracted worrying about me, and distractions cost lives.”

“I appreciate it.”

“I’m not doing it for you.”

“I’m aware. I know you hate me.”

“I don’t hate you, Caleb. I hate what you’ve done to my friend. There’s a difference.”

“It’s better this way. Elisa is safer away from me. Look how you were targeted. I wouldn’t want that for Lili.”

I believe he’s sincere. I believe he cares about her. But he’s hurt her so much. Though it wasn’t intentional, I’m still finding it hard to forgive him. I tolerate him for Joshua’s sake, and to be fair, he’s done a lot for us since everything went down after Christmas. I’ve got to give him some credit.

“I was always going to be a target as an informant, but you’re right, being Joshua’s girl gave that douche added incentive to come after me.”

“He didn’t realize you’ve got bigger balls than most men and you’re not easy to take down.”

“Straight fucking fire.”

“You impressed me,” he says, setting down his pen. “I know it can’t have been easy in the aftermath of everything, but you just got on with it. You’ve proven you’re worthy of my brother. You have my blessing.”

I flip up my middle finger. “We don’t need your blessing. Your ego is showing again.”

“You think my brother would marry you if I didn’t approve?” He quirks a brow.

Picking up a nut from the bowl, I fling it at his head. “Yes, he would.” My voice resonates with confidence because I know it’s the truth. Joshua loves his brother. He would die for him, but he wouldn’t walk away from me if Caleb didn’t approve. I know that with my whole heart.

“You’re perfect for him. Don’t fuck it up.”

I fling another nut at his head, and this time, he’s ready for me, jerking his head to the side and opening his mouth so it pops inside. He flashes me a grin.

“Show-off.”

He cracks up laughing just as his cell vibrates with an incoming call. He picks it up. “What?” He listens for a few minutes before sighing heavily. “No, don’t inform him. He’s busy. Let her up. I’ll handle it.” He hangs up and stands.

“What’s going on?”

He pats my head like I’m five. “Nothing to concern your pretty face about.”

I scowl at him. “Don’t patronize me.”

“I have a bit of a nuisance issue to handle, but it’s better you let me handle it.” He drills me with a sharp look. “Stay here. You have a report to submit, so submit it .”

I shove both middle fingers up at his retreating back, waiting until he is out of sight before I pull up the camera feed on my phone. Joshua gave me access to everything so I’m never blindsided again.

On the screen, Caleb is standing in the open doorway of the penthouse, chatting with one of the soldati as he waits for whatever or whomever this nuisance is. I tap a pen on the desk as I watch the elevator doors sliding open, sitting bolt upright when I see who emerges.

“What the actual fuck? Are you kidding me?” I glare at the screen where Sorella Caprese is pushing against Caleb, trying to get in through the door.

Fuck this shit. Fuck waiting here. Joshua ended things with her months ago. How dare she show up here. She’s not even supposed to know where he lives! Her fucking sister! Joshua told me Viola Caprese was his new temp PA. She must have given her older sister her boss’s address. A firing offense if I have any say.

I storm out of the office and stomp down the hallway, across the living room, and out into the entrance hallway.

“You!” Sorella jabs her finger in my direction as Caleb tries to restrain her. She’s bucking and snarling and writhing like a crazy person. “I know what you’re doing, and if you think you’re taking him from me, you’re fucking delusional!”

“Of course, you didn’t listen,” Caleb grumbles, glaring at me as he struggles with the witch. The shoulder of her black belted trench coat comes loose, sliding down one side, showcasing the top of a red lace corset.

I stalk right up to them, and it’s taking enormous willpower not to throttle the bitch. “You dare to show up here dressed in your underwear in some ploy to tempt my man ? The only delusional one here is you. Joshua doesn’t want you. He’s with me, and you’re embarrassing yourself. Leave or I’ll make you.”

In a lightning-fast move, she pulls a gun out from the pocket of her coat and points it at me.

I glare at the two soldati at the front door. “Did no one check her for weapons?”

“Heads will roll for this,” Caleb promises, easily wresting the gun from Sorella. He hands it to one of the men. “Starting with your sister’s. Nice way to get Viola fired.”

“It’s not her fault. I blackmailed her into giving me the address. She shouldn’t be punished.” She smirks as Caleb restrains her by the upper arms. “Joshua can take it out on me. He loves punishing me. He can do whatever he wants to my body. I’ll let him do anything, like always.” She drags a derogatory gaze up and down my body, scoffing at my slides, yoga pants, and oversized sweater. My hair is up in a messy bun, and I have no makeup on my face. “What the hell does he even see in you? You’re a mess, and I doubt you keep him satisfied in any aspect of his life.”

There was a time I felt inferior next to her. She’s always done up to the nines and immaculately dressed. But not anymore. Joshua loves me for the person I am under the exterior. He had ample opportunity when he was fucking this bitch to make her his girlfriend, but he didn’t because he doesn’t have feelings for her. I remember that so I don’t accidentally-on-purpose murder her.

“Gia satisfies my brother in a way you never did. Jealousy is not a good look on you, Sorella,” Caleb says. “Crazy psycho doesn’t suit you either.”

“Oh, I don’t know,” I say, lounging against the wall. “It has a certain appeal. You should call her father and have her committed. She did just pull a gun on Don Accardi’s fiancée.”

“Valid point,” Caleb says, eyeballing the elevator as it opens again.

“You lying whore! You’re not wearing a ring. As if he’d ever lower himself to marry you.”

I might not have a ring yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

Joshua exits the elevator with four armed men, and I breathe a sigh of relief.

“I am going to marry Gia,” Joshua says, standing behind the commotion in our doorway. “And you are way out of line coming here, Sorella.”

Caleb doesn’t look surprised, confirming his twin must have spoken to him about it.

“Joshua! Joshua!” She attempts to turn in Caleb’s arms, but he’s holding her too tightly. Joshua and the men step back as Caleb moves her outside to the lobby, freeing up the doorway.

Joshua rushes inside, hauling me against his chest, as Sorella screams and shouts. “Are you okay?” he asks.

“I’m fine, though she did pull a gun on me.”

“Did she now?” His cold icy stare throws me back in time to months ago when I was on the receiving end of such looks. Keeping his arms snugly around me, he turns us to face his ex-fuck-buddy at the door. “I made myself very clear in December when I told you our arrangement was over.”

“You don’t mean it!” Tears stream down her face. “I love you, and I know you love me!”

“I don’t. I have never loved you. I love Gia. She’s going to be my wife.”

“Why her and not me!? What does she have that I don’t?” she shrieks, bucking against the soldiers who are now holding her. Caleb looks bored, slouched against the doorway with his ankles crossed, staring at the ceiling. “Look at her, and look at me!” Somehow, she manages to rip her coat open, displaying the fitted lace corset, matching panties, and stockings she is wearing. “How can you want that hot mess and not this?”

Joshua looks ready to rip her to shreds. “Insult the woman I love again, and I’ll put a bullet in your head. Gia is worth a million of you. She’s my equal in every way. You were just a hole to fuck when I had an itch that needed scratching.”

Gawd, he’s so cold. I should be enjoying this, and there is a part of me that is, but there is something so tragically pathetic about Sorella that makes another part of me pity her.

She’s crying now, big wracking sobs that come straight from her heart. I think she might genuinely be in love with him.

“Take her away,” he commands his men. “I will be calling your sister to tell her she’s fired and calling your father to explain what you’ve done here today. I’ll be demanding he sends both of you overseas.”

“No, please, Joshua. No. Don’t do that. I don’t want to leave the US. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

“You’re lucky he’s not calling for your death,” Caleb says, pushing off the wall. “My brother is doing you a kindness. You should thank him.”

“Joshua, please. She has poisoned you, tricked you into thinking you love her. She’s not good enough for you. Please, baby, she can’t give you the things I can. Remember all the good times we had, baby. Please remember.”

“You pulled a gun on my future wife. There’s no coming back from that. I don’t trust you around Gia, and I will do whatever is necessary to ensure she’s protected. You are nothing to me, and she is everything.”

Ouch. That has got to hurt.

Sorella’s tears dry up, and she glares at me. “You might think you’ve won, bitch, but I’ll have the last laugh. Wait and see!” she shrieks as she’s dragged kicking and screaming into the elevator.

“My ears hurt,” Caleb says, slapping his brother on the shoulder as the elevator doors close and the screeching stops. “Thank fuck. I was two seconds from blowing her head off just to shut her up.”

“Are you okay?” Joshua asks me again, ignoring his brother.

“I’m fine. I kinda feel sorry for her. I think she loves you and she’s really lost it.”

“I don’t care about her.” He pulls us farther into the hallway as Caleb closes the front door. “All I care about is you.”

“I’m okay, but I’m all riled up now.” I drive my hand down the front of his pants. “I want to bounce on your cock.”

“And that’s my cue to leave.” Caleb’s eyes light up in mischief. “Unless you want a two-for-one special?” He smirks, totally winding his brother up. “Want to fuck twins?”

“Out!” we holler in unison, pointing at the front door.

“You two are no fun.” He blows me a kiss before spinning around, chuckling as he exits through the front door.
