Chapter 17 #3

"Yes," Adriel managed. "Move. Please move."

Landen pulled back slowly. Almost all the way out, until only the tip remained inside. Adriel whimpered at the loss. Then Landen thrust forward.

Harder than before. Deeper.

He set a rhythm. Slow at first, deep strokes that made Adriel feel every movement, every inch of him.

His hips rolled forward to meet each thrust, chasing the friction, chasing the feeling of being filled so completely.

Landen's hands were firm on his hips, guiding, and his breathing was audible now; ragged, uneven.

"So good," Landen breathed. "You feel so good around me. So tight. Fuck."

Adriel pushed back against him. Harder. Needing more. Needing him deeper.

Landen groaned softly.

"Like that?" He thrust deeper in response, hitting that spot inside Adriel that made stars burst behind his eyes. "You like it when I go deep?"

"Yes…" Adriel's voice broke. "God, yes…"

The rhythm shifted. Became harder. Faster. Landen’s hips snapping forward with more force, driving into Adriel relentlessly. Each thrust hit that spot, that perfect, devastating spot, and Adriel's sounds became continuous, a litany of moans and gasps and broken versions of Landen's name.

"Look at you," Landen said. His voice was wrecked now. "Taking me so well. So beautiful like this. So fucking perfect."

Adriel's hands fisted in the sheets.

His whole body was shaking, trembling with the force of each thrust. The bed was moving beneath them, the headboard knocking softly against the wall. He didn't care. Didn't care about anything except the feeling of Landen inside him, fucking him, wanting him.

Landen leaned forward. Pressed his chest against Adriel's back, sweat-slick and warm. The change in angle made him go even deeper, made every thrust hit that spot inside of him. His mouth found Adriel's ear, his neck, his shoulder; kissing, biting, sucking marks into his skin.

"You're mine," he breathed against Adriel's throat. "Say it."

"Yours…" Adriel's voice was a sob. "I'm yours…"

"Yeah, you are." Landen's hips never stopped moving, never slowed. "Mine to fuck. Mine to fill. My good boy.”

One hand slid around to wrap around Adriel's cock.

Adriel's whole body seized.

Landen's grip was perfect; tight and sure, stroking him in time with his thrusts. His thumb swiped over the head, spreading the wetness there, making Adriel keen. His mouth kept working against his neck, his shoulder, whispering filthy praise against his skin.

"So hard for me. So wet. You love this, don't you? Love being fucked open, love being filled…"

"Yes…" Adriel was sobbing now, tears leaking from his eyes, overwhelmed by the intensity of it. "Yes, yes, yes…"

"Cum for me." Landen's voice was a command. "Cum on my cock. Let me feel you."

Adriel came.

It tore through him like nothing he'd ever experienced; wave after wave of pleasure so intense it was almost pain. His cock pulsed in Landen's hand, spilling over his fingers, soaking the sheets beneath him. His body clenched around Landen's cock, gripping him tight, pulling him deeper.

Landen groaned loudly. Kept thrusting through it, fucking him through every spasm, every shudder.

"Fuck…" Landen's voice was broken. "Adriel…"

He drove deep three more times.

Each thrust harder than the last, each one hitting that spot, prolonging Adriel's orgasm, making him cry out again. Then he buried himself to the hilt and came; his whole body shaking, a low broken sound pressed against Adriel's shoulder, his hand gripping his hip hard enough to bruise.

Adriel felt it. Felt him pulsing inside, felt the heat of his release even through the condom, felt the way his body gripped and held and refused to let go.

They stayed like that for a long time. Landen's weight pressed against his back, both of them shaking, breathing in ragged gasps. Adriel's face was still pressed to the side, tears drying on his cheeks, his body still trembling with aftershocks.

After a long moment, Landen moved. He pulled out slowly, and Adriel whimpered at the loss. Landen pressed a kiss to his shoulder in response; a silent apology.

Then he took care of everything.

He cleaned Adriel gently and without fuss. His touches were soft now, reverent, nothing like the force of moments before.

When he was done, he lay back down. Pulled Adriel against his chest and wrapped an arm around him, and Adriel went; tucking himself in close, his back against Landen's front, Landen's heartbeat steadying against his spine.

His heart was still racing. He could feel it, pounding against his ribs, too fast, too loud. But his body was heavy, boneless, sunk into the mattress in a way that made movement feel impossible. Landen's weight was pressed against his back, warm and solid, one arm wrapped around his waist.

Landen didn't move immediately. Didn't reach for his phone or his clothes like Adriel had been braced for. Didn't shift away or clear his throat or do any of the things Adriel had learned to expect in moments like this.

He stayed. His hand moved slowly over Adriel's stomach. His fingers, warm and dry, tracing lazy patterns across his skin.

Adriel closed his eyes. Let himself feel it. The weight of that hand. The warmth of it. The simple, astonishing fact of it still being there.

After a while, Landen spoke quietly.

"You okay?" His voice was low in the dark. Soft.

Adriel considered lying.

Fine. The word was right there, automatic, the way it always was. The way he'd said it a thousand times to a thousand people who hadn't really wanted to know. It would be easy. It would be safe.

"I don't know," he said instead. The words came out quiet. More honest than he'd meant to be.

Landen's hand kept moving. Slow circles.

"That's okay," he said.

Adriel's throat tightened.

They lay in silence for a moment.

"Did I hurt you?" Landen asked.

Adriel shook his head against the pillow. "No."

"Tell me if I did something, anything, you didn't like. I need to know."

Adriel turned the words over. No one had ever asked him that before. No one had ever wanted to know what he liked, what he didn't, what he needed. The questions themselves felt foreign, like a language he didn't quite speak.

"You didn't hurt me," he said. "It was…" He stopped. Started again. "It was good. Really good."

"The way you…" Adriel's voice faltered. "When you said good boy. I didn't know… I didn't know that could feel like that."

Landen was quiet for a moment. Then: "You liked that?"

Adriel nodded again. Small. Embarrassed.

"Yeah."

"Okay." Landen's voice was soft.

Adriel's heart did something complicated in his chest.

"What about you?" he managed. "Was it… was I…

He couldn't finish the question. Didn't know how to ask if Landen had liked it, if it had been good for him, if he'd wanted it as much as Adriel had.

Landen's arm tightened around him slightly.

"It was perfect," Landen said. "You were perfect."

Adriel made a sound.

"You don't believe me," Landen said. It wasn't a question.

"I…" Adriel stopped. Swallowed. "It's not that I don't believe you. It's just…" He laughed, quiet and broken. "I've never been perfect before…”

Landen was quiet for a long moment. Then he shifted. Moved just enough to turn Adriel toward him, to face him in the dark. His hand came up, cupped Adriel's cheek, thumb tracing the line of his cheekbone.

"Look at me," Landen said quietly.

The room was dark, but enough light filtered through the blinds for him to see Landen's face. His eyes, dark and steady. His expression open in a way Adriel had never seen before.

"I'm going to tell you something," Landen said. "And I need you to hear it."

Adriel waited.

"I've been with people," Landen said. "A lot of people. In a lot of ways." His thumb kept moving on Adriel's cheek. Gentle. Steady. "And I've never…" He stopped. Started again. "What just happened with you? That wasn't like anything I've done before."

Adriel's breath caught.

"I don't know what this is," Landen continued. "I don't know where it's going. But I know it's not nothing. And I know I'm not going anywhere. Not unless you ask me to."

Adriel stared at him.

"You don't have to say anything," Landen said. "I just needed you to know."

Adriel's eyes stung. He didn't cry. But the feeling was there, pressing behind his eyes, hot and overwhelming.

"I don't know how to do this," Adriel whispered.

"Do what?"

"Trust someone. Believe them." His voice cracked. "Every time I've tried, they…" He stopped. Swallowed.

Landen's thumb kept moving on his cheek. "I'm not them," he said quietly.

"I know."

"I'm not going to do what they did."

Adriel nodded. Small. Believing it and not believing it all at once.

"I'm scared," he admitted. The words came out barely there. "I'm really scared."

Landen pulled him closer. Wrapped both arms around him and held him against his chest. His lips pressed to the top of his head.

"I know," he murmured. "That's okay. You can be scared. I'm not going anywhere."

Adriel pressed his face into Landen's chest. Breathed him in. Let the warmth of him seep into all the cold places.

"I liked it when you touched me," he said into Landen's skin. Quiet. Muffled. "All of it. Even when I got scared. Even when I tried to hide. I liked it."

Landen's arms tightened around him.

"Good," he said. "I liked touching you."

Adriel huffed a laugh against his chest. "Yeah?"

"Yeah." Landen's voice was warm. "Especially the parts you tried to hide."

Adriel's laugh turned into something else. Something that hurt and felt good all at once.

They lay like that for a while. Landen's hand moving on his back now. Slow circles. Grounding. Adriel's breathing evening out against his chest.

"Can I ask you something?" His voice came out quiet. He wasn't sure he wanted the answer, but the question had been sitting in his chest, pressing against his ribs, demanding to be asked.

"Anything," Landen said.

"Yesterday. At the office." He paused. "You didn't... you barely looked at me. All day. After..." He trailed off, unable to finish.
