Drake growled, “I was not compelled by a Vampire.” I argued, “You were and yours is particularly strong. As is your family’s.” Elise had been released and started to cry. EJ picked her up whispering, “Elise, it’s ok.”
My sister in law cried, “It’s not her! They way Ladybug is acting never made sense! Melanie would come home or enact her plan Z. She wanted to go to New York and call her Xander with an emergency. That was her plan, but she’s never done it. Melanie always follows her plans.”
Jason consoled Elise gently saying, “Mel’s living her dream, Elise.” Elise shouted, “She’s not!” Once everyone was released, I explained, “Elise is right. Melanie is not in New York. We went down because her wolf was suppressed.”
“Mel fought valiantly for hours to complete her shift, but she was all alone because a fuck face pretender to being an Alpha blood ordered it to go down that way. More Witches, and it actually sounds like a whole Coven, were brought in. Along with a very powerful super dark Witch to complete the spell.”
Sam cried, “Melanie would come home to us.” I shook my head explaining, “My mate was put in an illusion the night of Elise’s Luna Ceremony.” Sobbing followed that declaration. My dad’s voice was tight as he instructed, “Tell us all of it, son.”
I sighed, “Mel was shot in a home invasion and believes T died saving her life. She also thinks Sam and Drake died that night. My mate was just recently told on her sixteenth birthday that Drake is not her biological father, and she thinks that’s why she doesn’t have a wolf.”
Drake roared in anger, “SHE IS MY FUCKING DAUGHTER!” I held up my hands acknowledging, “I know that.” I turned to my cousin, Brody Cambridge, “You need to bring a medical kit because Mealnie’s hurt, and if me or mom don’t get to her first, you should.”
The other me snarled, “What do you mean? I’ll heal her.
” I admitted, “I don’t actually know how badly she’s hurt.
I know that she believes Jase disowned her and Peter requested she be punished for the McAlister’s deaths.
They told her a Hunter is her father, and that was who killed the McAlister’s.
Robert is betraying your pack and it’s how they got her. ”
“We need Corbin, Aunt Katie, Darius and…” I trailed off then said, “Hell, all of the Cambridges with Witch or Warlock blood. There will be a barrier up at the punishing fields. There is so much more than we know going on in our unallied packs than we ever knew.”
I rubbed my face adding, “Melanie is in the thick of it. By the way Cayden, Melanie’s alias in Black Path is Ashley Griffen.” Cayden stiffened then shouted, “WHAT?!” I nodded, “It’s really Melanie. She’s also Red One, which you know.”
Cayden admitted, “Yes, I do that. Ashley’s a source for us. No fucking wonder she’s so scared at the mention of the Conners name. It’s because she thinks you all know she was disowned and turned your backs on her.” I replied, “Not us but she thinks we know she’s there.”
Elise started to sob. Peter whispered, “It’s us she thinks turned our back on her.” I hummed saying to my sister in law, “My Melanie didn’t think you knew so yours probably feels the same way. Mine was not sure about EJ and she’s been told I’ll reject her if she comes to me.”
The other me snarled, “WHAT?! WHO SAID THAT?” I replied, “His fuck ass name is Trevor, and I’m pretty sure the entire pack leadership said it too.” My dad sighed, “You know more than you’re saying.”
I conceded, “I do but not because my mate told me. Melanie is in the Resistance. Specifically, she’s our sniper. Have Everly and Julianna been kidnapped here yet?” Tristan snarled, “WHAT?! Ladybug is our sniper in the blue circle group? WHO THE FUCK WOULD TAKE MY MATE!”
I answered, “His name is Dante. Everly is planning a trip to see her parents and that’s where they attack because Robert gave them the details. The Hunters/Ring trick Julianna into joining her. Melanie saves them and gave us a wonderful thing called Laxenread.” My mom’s lips twitched into a smile.
I added, “It’s a counteragent for iron poisoning for Fairies. Oh, and because the situation isn’t fucked up enough Melanie is also a fighter in the Undergrounds.” Drake snarled, “I’ll kill them all. WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS?”
I sighed, “Remember when I said Alpha Ezra is involved?” Drake paled and whispered, “No. No! He came after Melanie?!” My mom cringed saying, “The Ring often targets women.” I added, “There’s a lot of bad shit going on in these packs than we ever though.

I cut them off, “I’m not done. The pack leadership are forcing males to mark women who aren’t their mate.
The Alpha’s rape the marked she wolves on the first day of their first heat while the male is knocked out on drugs.
They are a bunch of assholes who have pack slaves, which is the rank they gave Melanie. ”
The other me snarled along with the McAlister’s and Kyle’s. I winced admitting, “I have more fun news.” Gage scoffed, “Wow, heavy sarcasm other reality Alpha of mine.” I retorted, “You have no idea. Alpha Ezra is Robert’s father.”
Peter paled as he said, “Oh my god. Are you sure?” I nodded, “Yes. Talia’s mate is Alpha Ezra’s other son, Tao. He’s a good guy by several accounts given, one of whom was Melanie. Tao just took over after Alpha Ezra attacked Alpha Theo. Ezra almost killed Mae and Anne. Is Talia here yet?”
EJ answered, “She got here two weeks ago.” I nodded, “Ok then. We can get them back together to take over their pack as they should. Tao needs a mentor, but he’s been training with Melanie so he should be ready. They are using the videos I put out, or your me, to train.”
Lux and Alpha Theo snarled. Alpha Theo asked, “Can we go back to that comment about my mate and whoever Mae is? WHO is Mae?” I shook myself, “Right, sorry. I’m twenty one here so Mae’s not born yet.

” The other me asked, “Why? Other than the obvious name of punishing field.” Yeah, it was kind of obvious with a name like that.
I answered, “Because nothing good happened between Melanie and Trevor McCann in this time period after her birthday. I don’t know what it was, but I know it was bad.” Chase Daniels snarled, “MCCANN?” I nodded, “Yes. We need to go.”
I opened a portal because I didn’t know if I could pop to Black Path at all since their Melanie had the fake wedding rings around her neck. I pointed in the direction we needed to go announcing, “It’s this way.” We walked to the edge and my mom chanted space unheard.
I told Corbin, “There’s something up so that we can’t see inside or get inside. Darius figured out how to take it down when Spencer called him in on a side mission I had him on. There’s another one around the pack so no one can see its true state.” Corbin nodded, “I’m on it.”
I turned and addressed several people, “Jason, Dalton, Dakota, and Julian your mates are around here somewhere. Julian your mate is a Demon who is one of Melanie’s friends. Dalton, yours is a Witch friend of Melanie’s. Jason, yours is Addison Davis.” Jason smirked.
Cayden offered, “Julian, yours will be Valentina then.” I nodded, “Sure. Do you know Crush, Cayden?” Levi interjected, “I know Crush. He’s given me tips on occasion. I haven’t heard from him in a while. Fuck me. Why is a Demon with this pack?”
I replied, “He’s around here. I don’t know why he’s with them, but Crush appears to be with Melanie’s other Demon friend.
I believe his name is Virgil.” Cayden confirmed, “That’s his name.
” I hummed, “Good. We need to find Crush and Melanie definitely knows him. So, that shouldn’t be too hard.
The Luna and Beta Female are under the, and I cringe calling him this but, Alpha Command’s and a spell. ” Everyone gaped at me.
My dad said, “His own Luna and mate?” I nodded, “His fated mate and she hates him. A lot. Which is justified honestly.” We all stopped talking when we heard voices.
I heard Melanie’s soft cries that tore at my heart.
Second later I heard Trever offer, “Sleep with me and this all ends.” That rat bastard.
Drake, Tristan, Jason, and I snarled in anger. My mom said, “Good thing my son from another reality told me to enchant the area. I will RIP that man’s dick off with tongs. Mrs. Blanch uses those, right? With the food? I’m sure I can conjure silver ones especially for this fucking asshole.”
Melanie cried, “No, I’m not doing anything with you. Just leave me alone, Trevor.” Trevor warned, “This doesn’t end until you have sex with me.” I could hear them fighting and she screamed in pain seconds before he did. I could hear that Melanie was breathing hard.
Trevor roared, “YOU BITCH! HE DOESN’T EVEN WANT YOU! YOU’RE DELUSIONAL! ALEXANDER CONNERS WILL NEVER WANT YOU!” The other me growled in anger while my heart pinged in pain. Oden whined in my head.
Melanie sobbed softly, “He’s an Alpha Duke, you wannabe! Don’t you dare say his name! Xander’s actually worthy of his title unlike the people here! He’s a real Alpha. You’re not even a worthy Gamma, let alone Alpha. You’re just jealous of him!” I heard the sound of whipping.
Melanie was crying out in pain while the other me and I were pacing and snarling. Suddenly I heard another voice, “Mr. Trevor, you called for a spell to help you.” Melanie cried, “NO! You can’t make me sleep with Trevor because of a spell! I’ll die first!” My heart broke for her.
