Chapter Seventy-Nine
Quinn tears down the rural road. He’s not certain this is the way—he hasn’t been there since he was a kid, but that day was etched into his mind.
A kind of memorial to his father. It meant a lot to him.
How can the man who gave him that—Uncle Pat—be the same man, no, the monster, who did these things to Jules and so many women?
He sees a sign that reads, SIOUX ORDNANCE DEPOT and knows he’s in the right place. He turns onto the gravel road and kills his headlights.
He parks and quietly gets out of the car. The field has hundreds of bunkers. If Pat has taken Jules here, how will he know which one?
Quinn knows where they are.
