Chapter Six
Wraith
It’s the day of the trip and yesterday I followed Harshal home again and managed to find his apartment number without him knowing.
I spent an hour or so outside his apartment building, observing.
.. things. Today I notice him leave with his friend which I soon find out is named Brunelle.
They went to the mall, I know this due to the text thread I spied on when we were in math class today.
So, at the moment I am at his apartment complex with a camera in my hand.
I’ve come to the conclusion that since I couldn’t kill him when I should have I’d just spend my free time.
.. observing him. He’s someone I’ve come to favor, which is why I’m planning to install a security system in his room so I can favor him on my free time while I’m in Vegas.
I enter the building wearing blue jeans and a grey compression shirt, a grey hat sits on my head, obscuring part of my face.
I’m greeted by some people in the lobby as I make my way to the staircase.
There’s an elevator but what’s the fun in that?
When I get to his floor I check out the hall, making sure there’s no one there and scoping out any cameras there may be.
When the coast is clear I head to his apartment door.
Digging in my pocket I pull out the bobby pin I stole from Frani and pick the lock.
After my fighting with the door I enter and lock it behind me.
It’s dark so I take my phone out and use my flashlight to navigate through the apartment.
I head straight to his bedroom, the door open slightly.
Pushing it all the way open I enter, his cologne wafting in the air greets my nose and it smells heavenly.
I take a second to look around the room.
Some of his clothes hangs in the closet with shoe boxes while other pieces of clothing still sit in his suitcase.
Closing his bedroom door I turn on his bedroom light to finish examining his room.
I smile when I spot the perfect place to put the camera and I don’t waste time putting it up.
