Chapter Eighteen

Harshal

Frani came to pick us up from where Wraiths bike blew up in front of us.

Had we’d been any closer I don’t think either one of us would be here right now.

We are currently at their house and Wraith is tearing a hole in the floor of the living room with his pacing.

He’s been pacing so much it seems like his leg muscles have gotten bigger from the little workout.

He’s changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top that hugs every muscle on his body and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t look erotic but right now is not the time to think about getting banged.

“He said he’d be here in thirty minutes, where is he?” Wraith asks, the rage clear in his voice.

He’s trying to control his anger and worry but every now and then some of it seeps out.

“He’s the president so he has to make sure everyone is okay.” Frani says calmly as she scrolls through her phone, her feet propped up on her luggage.

When we arrived here both her and him began to pack immediately.

Wraith told me that he was taking me to my apartment to pack my own clothes, he even patched up the cuts I got from the attempted abduction and murder I had not too long ago.

He even said we might have to bring Brunelle.

His theory is, since it looks like we’re dating their enemies have become my enemies and they’re trying to hurt Guilford by hurting the members of his gang, starting with the weakest links—me being at the top of that list. It made me anxious hearing his theory, but I’ll get over it eventually.

“How can he make sure everyone is okay if he’s not okay?” Wraith asks.

“Dude just calm down I can call him again if you want me to.” Frani offers.

Wraith growls before grabbing the keys to the community van and heading toward the door.

“Where are you going?” Frani asks. “Dad told us to stay here until he gets back.”

Wraith continues to walk away as if his sister didn’t say a single word to him. I hear the front door open and close and Frani sighs.

“Men.” She grumbles with a roll of her eyes.

She looks at me and places a hand on my arm.

“No offense.” She adds.

“None taken.” I smile.

She sits up in the couch, her feet now on the floor, and her leg begins to bounce. I look at her and can tell she’s deep in thought.

“Fucking Wraith!” she curses under her breath.

Getting up she looks at me before walking out of the living room. I hear her go upstairs and some ruckus coming from up there. She then comes down with two pink helmets in her hands.

“Come on, let’s follow that dumbass before he gets himself in trouble.” She said. “You don’t mind pink do you?”

I shake my head as she tosses one of the helmets my way. We then exit the house to her bike and follow Wraith to the club.

I’m taken aback when I see the leftover pieces of the burnt-up club. Firefighters are everywhere, still putting out small fires, and the first person I see is Wraith, arguing with a policeman.

“Dumbass.” Frani mutters.

She turns off her bike and puts the kickstand up. We get off her bike and take our helmets off. Running toward Wraith I catch his fist before it lands on the officer.

“Calm the fuck down, Wraith!” I growl, my voice sounding unfamiliar to myself.

His gaze connects with mine before confusion laces his expression.

“How’d the fuck you get here?” he asks.

“Does it matter?” I ask. “Your dad told us to stay at the house and wait for him and that’s what we’ll do.”

I lace my fingers with his and begin to walk away but he doesn’t budge which causes me to falter and nearly lose my balance.

“Like hell I’m doing that.” He growls.

“Look son, it’s best you follow your friends advice and leave.” The officer says.

I look at the officer with a pleading expression on my face as if to tell the office not to antagonize him. Before I know it Wraith takes his other hand and punches the officer, knocking him out.

“Wraith!” I shout as other officers come running towards us.

“Officer down, officer down!” one of them shouts.

Peoples attention begins to shift toward us and my cheeks heat. Fuck! My eyes land on Guildford who is seething at the moment. He charges toward us, pushing police officers out of the way like they’re nothing but feathers in a pillow to him.

“The fuck are you doing here?” Guilford asks.

“You said—” Wraith starts before his father cuts him off.

“I know what I fucking said, I have to make sure everything is good here so we won’t—”

Guildford looks around before pushing us to a more private area.

“So we won’t go to jail in case they find something illegal.” He continues. “And I can’t do that with you here, especially after you just knocked out an officer.”

“He deserved it.” Wraith grumbles. “Asshole.”

“Wraith!” Guildford growls in a shout, making me jump. “I’ll cover for you now so you won’t go to jail but do as I say and go back home.”

“Dad but—”

In a blink of an eye Guildford has a fist full of Wraith’s shirt as they both share a heated face off.

“He just wanted to make sure you were okay!” I reason, trying to calm the situation.

No one moves and for a second there I thought Guildford was seriously about to unleash his parental rage on his son.

“Son, I love you...” Guildford sighs. “But please, please listen to me as your father and president.”

He looks at me, releasing his sons shirt.

“Protect your friend and sister while I’m gone and we’ll go to safety.” Guildford said.

“So we’re just going to let that motherfucker force us into hiding without getting him back?” Wraith asks.

Guildford snickers.

“Who the fuck said that.” He says. “Revenge is always sweet, and I prefer sweetness over saltiness.”

Guildford smirks as a giant grin forms on Wraiths face.

“There you go son.” Guildford pats Wraiths back. “Now go home, I’ll come back to you in one piece I promise.”

Their foreheads collide and Wraith nods.

“Okay Dad.” Wraith says, calmer now that he knows he’ll get his revenge.

By the time night comes we are in the cabin. It’s a cabin hidden in the trees, almost completely off the grid. Also calling this place a cabin is an understatement because it’s nearly a mansion made of logs.

“Damn, your boyfriend comes from money.” Brunelle mumbles as she takes the place in.

“He’s not my boyfriend.” I argue.

“And this didn’t come from money it came from hard work.” The guy I believe name is Aziz says. “Teamwork.”

He walks past us and down a hall but he stops and turns to face me.

“Oh and don’t let Wraith hear what you just said.” He says before disappearing.

“See, I’m not the only one who sees the man’s infatuation with you.” Brunelle says. “And if I’m being honest deep down I think you know you like him too.”

If only she knew he fucked me. She’d never shut up about it.

My thoughts then travel back to last night when he made me cum twice in one session.

My toes involuntarily curl and my nipples harden at the memories.

Seeing his big dick, his naked flesh, and remembering how some of the tattoos I was able to register at the time moved as if they were animated. Brunelle gasps.

“You fucked him didn’t you?” she says.

My eyes cut to her as everyone else moves about their business around us.

“When?” she asks.

“How did you—why are—”

“Well one you were biting your lip, your tits are poking through your shirt, and you got a lustful look in your eyes.” She answers most of the questions in my head that failed to fall from my lips. “We’re best friends and have been for quite some time so I know you.”

I narrow my eyes at her and open my mouth to speak but Wraith interrupts me.

“Come on.” He said, taking the bag from my hand and walking down the hallway. “You too, Brunelle, right?”

Brunelle and I look at each other and follow him. The hall is decorated with motorcycle art, pictures of Guilford and his gang, daughter, and son.

“Are you going to fuck him again?” Brunelle asks.

“Shut up.” I hiss through gritted teeth.

We come to a stop in front of a door.

“Here you are Brunelle.” Wraith said, kicking open the door. “You don’t mind rooming with my sister do you?”

“No, not at all.” Brunelle smiles, entering the room.

“Cool I get to room with a girlie!” Frani says, making me jump.

I didn’t realize she was behind us. She shuffles past me and enters the room.

“Hi, I’m Frani.”

Frani holds her hand out for Brunelle to shake. Brunelle takes it and introduces herself while Wraith grabs my arm and pulls us to another room.

“Try and keep it down tonight ladies, some of us like to sleep at night.” Wraith says.

I can hear the smile in his voice.

“Fuck you Wraith!” Frani says before slamming the door closed.

Wraith chuckles. We come to a stop at a door a little further down the hallway and Wraith opens the door, sitting both my bags down and his.

“Um... we’re... we’re sharing a room?” I ask.

“Yeah.” He replies.

I look at the single bed in the room. Again?! No, no, no not us sharing a room yet again for basically the same reason! Flashbacks from Vegas come to me and I want to ask if I was going to be kidnapped this trip or not but refrain from doing so.

“I can—I can go sleep on the couch.” I said.

“No, you’ll sleep in here, if you want me to I can go sleep on the couch but...”

He invades my space, backing me up against the wall, his head dipping low and for a second I think he’s going to kiss me. My heart flutters in my chest and I hate that fact. His lips whisper against my own before they go to the shell of my ear. He licks it before whispering ever so softly,

“I don’t think you want me to.”

Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Fuck him and his sexiness. He pulls away and looks at me with a cocky smirk on his lips.

My skin is on fire, specifically the part of my ear he licked. I stare at him and he winks before exiting the room.
