Chapter 37
Chapter Thirty-Seven
KAIA
“Salt and Soul? What is this place? What are we doing?”
All week, Daisy had been tight lipped about where she was taking me.
I tried so many different versions of bribery to get the answer, with no luck.
Not even after I made her come in her favorite position.
I really thought that would’ve gotten me an answer; she loved sitting on my face.
The only thing she told me was that it was indoors so it wouldn’t be freezing.
She smiled and turned off the car. “It’s a salt room.
It’s a room filled with Himalayan salt, and they pump it through the air vents too.
It’s very relaxing and actually has many medical benefits.
We have the whole room to ourselves for an hour to pretend we’re at the beach and to relax with no one to bother us”
I gaped at her, trying not to cry. That sounded like the most amazing thing ever. “Babe, this is incredible. Thank you.” I didn’t know what to say.
When you walked in, you immediately felt relaxed. The place had an aroma that instantly put you at ease, like they had an oil diffuser going somewhere or pumped the scent through the cracks in the walls.
The receptionist was very nice and found our reservation quickly.
Since we’d never been there, she gave us the rundown of what we would experience and what other services they offered, one of which included various types of massages I’d be taking advantage of at another time, and led us to our room.
My mouth gaped open as I surveyed the space. It was like they took a section of a private beach and dumped it in the room.
The floor was covered in some kind of sand, and they had beach chairs set up. A large vent near the ceiling in one of the corners of the room released some sort of mist or smoke, and the woman at the front desk informed us it was the salt they pumped into the room to fill the air.
There was a small loveseat, so of course, that was where we decided to sit after we thanked the woman who was helping make our experience a tranquil one. She’d definitely be getting a good review later.
It was a little chilly. Daisy smiled and set her bag on a chair before pulling out a blanket. But not just any blanket, my favorite blanket from the house. What had I done to deserve this woman?
“I was wondering why you brought a giant bag. I can’t believe you brought that.
This is absolutely amazing. How did you manage to plan all this?
” I asked. It was the most romantic thing anyone had ever done for me.
I hadn’t thought I could fall harder for this woman, but I just kept falling and falling.
She was just so perfect in each and every way. I didn’t know what I had done in a past life to deserve her, but damn, I’d do it again a million times over if it meant I got to keep her.
“The internet is a wonderful thing, sweetie. Online booking and emailing with the manager made it very simple.”
I smiled and tugged her closer, thinking of a way to thank her for this thoughtful gesture. No one had ever thought of me like this. To rent out a space because she wanted it to be just the two of us. To know I most likely wouldn’t be in the mood to socialize.
It was the smaller things that I noticed. The little things like having my favorite cookies stocked in the house, making sure we always had bath salts around in case I wanted to take a bath, or bringing my favorite blanket from home that made me fall more and more in love with her.
We were snuggling up with the blanket, breathing in all the relaxing salts and red lighting. My arms were wrapped around hers, and she had one hand on my thigh, moving it up and down and making me forget things.
I gave her a look, and she kissed my forehead, lingering there for a few extra seconds before pulling away. My eyes fluttered open, and I released my hold on her arm to start my own caress on her leg.
Her eyes still stared into mine, and she raised an eyebrow while simultaneously moving her touch closer to my underwear.
When she started to rub my pussy against the fabric, I had to force my eyes not to close.
I was so thankful I decided to wear a dress for our date.
I hadn’t expected the day to take this turn, but I was nothing if not adaptable to change.
I smirked when I started to mirror her motions on her pussy and she bit her lip. “Is this why you insisted I wear a dress? You wanted easier access?”
She winked. “You know me so well. You always look delicious in that dress, and the fact that I can make you come easier doesn’t hurt, either.”
I groaned and pressed our lips together, feeling her tongue dancing with mine as her hand moved back to its original position. It was pushing me closer and closer to the edge.
I stopped her with my hand on her wrist. “Daisy, wait. There are probably cameras in here. What if we get caught?”
I didn’t think getting kicked out of a salt room would be very relaxing—at least, not for me. I looked around the room, trying to spot a camera. Of course, I didn’t want to stop, but I was not really looking to get into trouble.
She helped me search and eventually shrugged. “I don’t see any. And besides, we are under a blanket, sweetie. For all they know, we’re just making out. If anyone comes in, you’ll hear them and can stop us before anyone sees anything.”
Once she resumed kissing my neck, any more questions I might’ve had died off. I danced my fingers across her skin until they found their favorite place to be, resting on her wet clit. I was so glad I wasn’t the only one getting hot in that room.
I started rubbing her clit in small circles as she pushed two fingers inside me and kissed my shoulder three times to ask if what she was doing was okay, as if she needed to ask at this point. She could’ve literally done anything to me, and I’d thank her for it.
She looked at me and I nodded, not wanting to move my hands from their current position. She smiled and kissed my neck. That was one of my favorite things. When we were both so desperate for each other and we both wanted to make each other come.
Nine times out of ten, we came together. It was never just once, though. Knowing we both had reached that point together usually made something go feral in me and I needed even more of her.
She was thrusting harder and still sucking my neck. I’d definitely have a mark tomorrow, not that I even cared about that. In that moment, I only cared about Daisy.
I matched her movements, inserting a finger into her before adding another. She bit down harder, which only made me wetter. She clenched around my fingers and I grinned, using my other hand to lift her head to meet me for a kiss. It was sloppy, but I didn’t care.
She moved her thumb to start rubbing on my clit at the same time her fingers pumped inside me, and I felt myself tightening around her at the same time she clenched around me.
We were both close, and it only took a few more strokes and thrusts before our legs were shaking and we were coming together.
Stars danced across my vision, and I held her tighter, shamelessly riding her through my orgasm. She did the same, and it felt like it lasted several minutes. Eventually, I came down and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
“Sex in a public space, Daisy Ann? What have you done to me?” I winked.
She smiled. “It’s your fault. You’re too sexy to resist. Besides, you’re the one who started it.”
I shook my head. “No, don’t blame this one on me. You’re the one who started touching me. My body instantly reacts to you. I’m a victim in all of this.”
She laughed and shook her head. “Apologies, ma’am.
Would you like to file a police report? ‘Yes, Officer, I’d like to file a complaint.
This woman I’m dating who adores me made me come with her in a relaxing room, and I’d like her jailed immediately!
’” She kissed me, causing me to laugh in her mouth.
“Can we get out of here? I’d love to be in our own bed, where I have more room to really show my appreciation for you.” I grinned when she bit her lip and nodded before standing up to pack our blanket.
Before we left, I made sure we both looked presentable, fixing both of our hair and dresses. Since we walked out of there without anyone giving us a second glance, except the receptionist, who told us to have a good rest of our day, I assumed nobody knew what we had gotten up to.
The drive home was probably the longest drive ever. Her hand never left my leg, and it took a lot of strength and willpower not to beg her to pull the car over. The second the front door shut behind us, that strength and willpower vanished and we didn’t even make it to the kitchen.
We cleaned up in the shower a few hours later and were lying in bed together talking about the latest books we were reading and what was next on our lists.
I tossed a thought around in my head as I cuddled with her, listening to her breathing.
I should just say it, right? We’re still seeing each other, so clearly she likes me to some degree.
I’ll just say it and make it clear she doesn’t have to feel obligated to say it back.
I just need to get it out. I’ll tell her.
After a little more deliberation with myself, I tapped her shoulder, ready to just get the words out, but when she didn’t turn around, I leaned down to see her eyes closed. She had already fallen asleep.
It was just as well. What if I told her now and she didn’t feel the same way or got freaked out and left or asked me to leave? We had just had an amazing day together, and I shouldn’t have ruined it with a confession, anyway. I’ll find the right time to tell her. Maybe.
