That's what I needed a good run to relax my muscles and my tensions.
Walking back into the house I notice a delicately printed red card with the initials of me and my sister.
I studies the card before bring it up to face and opening it.
"We all got it."
I dropped the card to my feet and walked past my mother.
"I'm still not going for it. It is not the time to celebrate nor is appropriate for him to invite both Violet and I when he knows the state she is in and he know that I will never leave her side!"
"He knows alright."
With the scent of roasted marshmallow I turned to meet the familiar eyes of my childhood best friend and the beta of the pack.
"Cam."
"Hey Viola, how you doing." He walks over wrapping an arm around me instantly surrounding me with his usual homey scent.
"I throw my card back at his face when he offered it to me, I also at out refused to go but he used his alpha command and forced me to attend and to do something else." Cam spoke up
I turned so I could make eye contact with Cam," And do what Cam?"
"He told me to come tell you that by order of the alpha , everyone who received and invite must attend or they will be facing tough regulations."
"Is he that scared that no one will attend the party for his delicate mate." Alana asked walking into the main living space with one hand on her belly.
"And does he want us to drag Violet to the party aswel ...since she also did get an invite." Brie added.
" and you are..."
"Oh Cam this is Brielle and Alana they are the female delta and PW of my pack back in the north..girls this is Cam beta of the pack we are in at the moment."
I sighed I quickly rushed every tot he living room. I had to take a seat. My thighs were killing me from all that running.
"I still don't want to go."
"I am afraid we don't have a choice Viola, we don't want to make Jace even angrier, I think we should just make an appearance and then leave." With that my mum got up and excused herself to go bake. Something she always did when she needed to take her mind if reality.
"So if we have to go ..I feel we need to go with a bang. We need to make sure we make the precious Alpha hurt for forcing us to come." Brie stayed with a smirk.
"Carry on." I urged.
"Since we can't blatantly not go , we need to go and make a little chaos..so Jace regrets forcing us to come."
"What do you have planned.?"

"Guys I feel like we are going to be wasting our time with this." I argue back .
All three , Cam , Brie and Alana had their eyes glued to the computer screen while I spoke.
"It's not going to make an impact enough!"
Cam signed," it the best most simplistic thing you can do to tick both off, Jace has the pack on alert to make sure no one , spikes the food or drinks, so that no one shows up in silver etc. by wearing a light course closed covered by a dark hood ..then no one will expect anything."
"Fine this is because I don't have a choice."
Two hour later , three gorgeous designer dress sat on the living room couch. Curtesy to Cam who travels to town to pick up the dress we bought online.
"I still feel incredible guilty to go for this while my sister is lying asleep in bed."
The feeling was gnawing at me, I felt paralyzed to stay at home to be here just Incase anything happens..
"Think about it this way Vi, it by order of an alpha. And you know if Violet was awake she would want you to make that's Emma's life a living hell."
Cam pulled me in for a hug. Something I happily returned for it was a love of my childhood that I could have back.
I pulled my dress out of the designer bag, so much money for a dress.
It was very simple , quite different to that of Alana and Brie.
It was a simple nude beige dress with a crosshatching patterns covering the entire area of the dress.
It was trimmed by lace flowers. It had three quarter sleeves that clung to my body.
The top was fitted but from my waist to just below my knees was standing out.
I slipped on nude heels and pulled my long blonde hair up into a sleek bun.
Looking at myself in the mirror I sighed. I used to love dressing up like , big princess dresses. Make and heels, it was my domain. Yet I feel so useless and unworthy with it on.
Even with the foundation my dark circles still showed through.
"Viola, you look truly gorgeous."
Brie also looked perfect. She was wearing a pretty high low dress. It was plain white with a night red shine material on the underneath of her dress. That became only visible to you when she walked.
"I am so glad that my baby bump is slight other wise I wouldnt be able to wear this." Alana walked into my room in her dress making both mine and Brie's eyes pop to two separate reasons.
"Dave's gonna kill you."
"Damn your a sexy mama."
I looked over at Brie?," sexy mama?"
"Dave can't kill her, he will be attracted by her."
"The dress doesn't even come further than her thighs, he will kill all males that look at her especially because she also has a pup.
" I argue playfully back. Alana was truly dressed beautifully, her black hair fell naturally over her shoulders and she wore a white dress that top region was covers with grey lace flowers giving that nude effect look, she also had a princess stiff style skirt but her skirt only the back went to her knees while the front ended by her thighs.
"Dave needs to know that the male pack doctor we have is going to see a lot more and he needs to handle himself then so this is the best way for him to practice handling himself now. ."
Cam knocked gently in the room door.
"Is everyone decent?"
I chuckled ," please Cam you wished you walked in when we weren't."
"True to but I dont want to see my sister or her two friends that have mates that could potentially kill me in thermoelectric undergarments." He passed around three back costs to us.
It felt like red riding hood. Looking back in the mirror I could see how unflattering the black coat looked over my dress but it would be all worth in when I strip the coat off at the function.
"Let's go we are already late."
"Fashionable late ..definitely ."

I didn't come to the pack house for quite sometime.
The last time me being here was before I found Reese.
Reese. Today will be the first day I will see him after I left him a week ago.
I won't lie to say it wasn't easy. My mark burns new every morning and every night at the precise times Reese would kiss it.
We stepped into the flooded room of the pack house. Many many different scent of different wolves in the room. Clusters of men in black and navy blue suits, while their women stood beside them head to toe in dark dresses.
"And here come the fish."
"What?" I turned to look at where Alana was looking and true to her words.
Emma walked out with Jace beside her in a grey suit. She wore a silver fully sequined mermaid style dress that clung to her body.
"A true fish out of water." Brie stated.
We four burst into fits of giggles that we slowly covered up as Jace and his mate walked towards us.
"Thank you for coming Viola," Jace said, I courtly here the sincerity in his voice.
"You didn't leave us much of an option Jace. It's either we come or we face the alpha."
Jace looked down and I immediately felt bad. I just needed to remind my self if What he did.
He quietly walked away leaving us with his mate.
"I should have know that you all would not know how to dress. But it's ok no one will be looking at you'll cause as you can see I stick out in this see of black so all eyes are on me."
I smirked and judging from Emma's face she definitely knew something was up.
With that I peeled open my coat throwing it behind me. Th other girls following in que.
The look on her face was definitely worth it . Until..
